DANIEL RMy rental was canceled without notice. I agree I was an hour late to pick up. Had I been contacted I would have confirmed my intentions to still rent this trailer. I was told I was 3 hours late, a lie. I was told I had been contacted, another lie. After calling around to other sites no trailers were availible. I was finally given a trailer meant for somebody else. I'm sure they will be going through my dame situation.

TIMOTHY SProvide the pin required by law, to lock in the hitch. I had to drive without one ( the trailer needed one a lot bigger than a normal trailer would require), to a store and purchase for $20. Not a biggy as the staff were fantastic. Just a suggestion
Philip SWelland ave uhual are very professional they speak clear and understand everything going they say. I was suppose to have a trailer rental at the on hartzell rd it's a new location but I could not understand the east Indian she had her headset in and on the phone trying to understand her English was impossible and rude as she talked to the person on the phone in her language. Glad welland ave was there again for me I will only rent at that location

MARK BI can't think of anything that I would improve at this location. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. The location always has the equipment, in good working order that I need... when I need it. This is the very best U-Haul location that I have ever dealt with in the 45 years that I've lived in Ontario.

KRISTEN NI asked if the truck was cleared of snow and was told yes. The front windshield was full of ice and snow. I had to go back in an d ask for it to be cleared as there was no snow brush. When I got to my first stop I discovered that the rear of the truck was also covered with snow and ice .It was blocking the rear tail lights. I could have received a ticket. I would think that when you have pre booked a rental truck it would be cleaned and ready to go. I did mention it on my return and it went on deaf ears. I have rented from you on many occasions and had a trailer hitch installed by you. I will really have to think about dealing with your business again

ROY SYou could eliminate the none official U-Haul Drop Off in St Catharines located in an Avondale Store, the individual running this small drop off were trying to gauge us and charge for over 3000 km, where later I found out at this Welland St Location that you go and charge in miles. Terrible unsatisfactory service at the Avondale location, if we did not decide to come to Welland Ave drop off , I would have sued U-Haul and certainly made it to be known to others that one cannot trust the company. Please take away these peoples rights to operate under your banner and shut them down . My rating for this location avondale completely unsatisfactoryi felt unsafe and taken for a fool. There are enough locations in St Catharines even after the Avondale people get there operating licence revoked.. I would like to make sure no other individual goes through what I did. However the location we ended up dropping the truck was a five star service. I was very satisfied. And was concidered an actual U -Haul company and not an affiliate.

DALE MYour prices are way to high per km. I run a business and use your trucks often, but can't obtain a corporate account because you don't get the 30%.
OWEN DWhat we really liked was using U-Haul cartons. We used mainly small & medium. The unit is designed so that you Stack small, then medium then small in the first layer, then stack them almost to the ceiling so you maximize all the boxes from a 6X12 trailer plus you have room for a desk, chair & 2 end tables, 2.lamp tables & our ladder needed to stack boxes to the ceiling. You have organize your load to use both trailer & storage unit efficiently. Buy the right cartons to save money

I will say that the amount of damage both from water and from vermin was minimal - we were very impressed. My issue was with one of the employees, I'm not sure if she was the manager but in my 4 dealings with her each was disappointing and her level of professionalism was poor. On one occasion she stood with her back to me for almost 5 minutes, and after several attempts to get her attention she said "I see you, I'm busy putting on a band-aid". She could have led with that rather than making me wait. Another time she was on her phone texting, possibly for business and ignored me and I had to wait until someone else came in the shop to serve me. Another time she was eating and ignored me and I had to wait for the next attendant to serve me. The final time, she was busy talking with another employee about personal matters and I had to wait until another employee (he was very helpful and professional) to come into the shop to help me. Again, if she was busy, a simple "i'm on my break - so and so will be right with you" would have sufficed. It just seems like customers are inconveniencing her. After spending probably 15,000 over the years for storage fees, a bit of customer service shouldn't be too much to ask for should it?

He even mentioned about the door being stiff. No offer was made to oil it . When I came back later, my husky friend had trouble opening and closing the door. I was upset because I had asked them to call me when another locker opened. After waiting a month, I called myself and they said they had ONE left. I hurried in to hear another person renting a l9cker. People see old people and just ignore them, I always had good service 0reviously, maybe he didn't care as it was a cold windy day. However I will be lodging a full complaint about the two units that I rented!! The one unit which I kept all my furniture in my couch there was a piece about 2 inches long eaten by mice this couch I only purchased three months before I put in storage. The other unit was totally infested with mice and there was a leak in the right corner at the top all the way along the unit all the boxes were soaked and moldy all my clothes were damaged my vases were damaged and the mice had eaten through everything. There was absolutely no perishable goods in that unit there was no reason for mice to be in there!!!I am very disappointed with that I lost a lot of property that meant things to me and because of that storage unit I no longer have them.

I only had my things in for a month and a half but I had to pay another full month so I lost out on $53 because they do monthly. Sometimes people find places to live before the end of the second month. I really recommend prorating for this reason.
