PETER ABoxes were a day late delivering - might have been due to weather but was never told the actual reason. Staff and movers from Top Tier Relocations (Don and Justin!!) were 11/10 because they kept me in the loop for the delays and moved things up a flight of stairs in about an hour!

Jenna TI would say the overall experience wasn’t great, Nothing to do with this store. Ordered 5 U-boxes, ended up needing 7, my fault. The dates changed, so it changed our movers and move in date (cost us money)boxes were lost, then found, then dates changed again, and again. Overall wouldn’t do it again, I’d pay the extra $500 and go with PODS who also cover your items in the cost of shipping. Paid $3500 and could have paid $4000 for pods and had the dates I wanted, and it wouldn’t have thrown off an out of state move.

LORIN BThe delivery of our boxes to final destination was 5 hours past delivery window provided. This caused a lot of stress and issues with hired help to assist with unloading. No one from U Haul updated us with these numerous delays and completely left us in the dark. We went back and forth to the destination to meet within the new windows provided throughout the day wasting time and gas. Extremely frustrated with the service with delays.

When I called to clear this up after the I had dropped off the trailer.. no one had checked it in for a week. Also the customer service was condescending and rude so basically this was terrible

The way you have to book then await to hear from someone does not work as the helpers never show up. ALEXANDER HI went to get car out of Copart but I found that cable was damaged half way. So I end up paying someone else to transport my car.
FADI AEverything went well for the rental. But it has now been almost 6 days since my rental. I was charged a 100 dollar deposit which is supposed to be refunded. Not one person has tried to contact me, nor does my credit card reflect any attempt toward my refund. I'm going to call someone now, to figure it out.

ARTHUR Vrenting was fine. returning was not ok this is the 3rd time that my rental was not checked in when I returned it. If I rent from this location again, I will have to make sure that the trailer is checked in before I leave.

REGINA SYes, this was the second place I went to after being directed to go to ANG auto repair to pick up a trailer. They were super racist. Told me that they would rather deal with me. If I was white I asked once somebody finally showed up I asked how does this work? I rented a trailer the female there told me to Hit up and take it if I bought it online as we were hitching it, another gentleman comes up to me and basically tells me I’m stealing it when I ask what he wants from me he gets super rude then in his comments try to put that I assumed that I paid for it and I didn’t assume anything. I was baffled that the lady told us to just take it in the first place I thought they were charged a credit card when we brought it back because the yard was wide open And people were bringing trailers in and taking trailers out when we were there so I thought that was how they did it, but since I was in white, that guy approached me and got mad at me and instead of telling the lady that she did it incorrect and then coming and getting me to figure it out so I’m glad I went to this place

Let the employees know once I found out, which was a bit late, because after the 2 strong storms passed I went to get something from my storage unit and the top part was soak. I went to the office and told them. She assured me they would fix it. Never happened. My books which were stored on top with some dishes were damaged with mold boxes all wet. I had to replace them and move to a different area in storage unit. They didn’t seem to care about my situation. Not even to come and look at the unit or offer me new boxes. They asked if I had pictures instead of coming and looking at the situation.

When I spoke to the technician on the phone, he pled ignorance and said there’s nothing he can do. Changing the drop off location made moving very much more difficult and I do not appreciate uhaul doing this.
Herb P | Overall ExperienceWhen I called to make reservations I asked the rep several times if I rented the truck at this location would it qualify for the free month of storage and he assured me that it did when I showed up to pick up the truck guess what I was advised that I would have to pay full price for the storage and there wasn't even a storage reserved for me classic bait and switch we were in a pinch so I had no choice but to pay the money I believe Parker was the reps name on the phone so this is why I wouldn't recommend I have used U-Haul truck rental and storage several times in the past but will be using different truck rental and storage on my next move beware of the bait and switch

Anthony E | Overall ExperienceMy first time having a storage and it couldn't have been worse. The gate key didn't work for me and had to be re-entered multiple times in the computer only to be told later that there was an IT issue. Then the staff screwed up with my unit and assigned me one that had a customer already occupied. I was then re-assigned to another unit by this incompetent staff member that had some paint supplies in there already which I thought nothing of it so I moved all my stuff inside. I was then told the next day that because it was not empty, I would have to be re-assigned another unit for the third time and the best part was that I would not be getting any help to move these heavy items. The manager and I had a screaming match about this only to be told that it had already happened and nothing else can be done. So I had to move all my heavy stuff by myself to a unit that was finally checked to be empty. I was then charged for the time that was in the second unit as well instead of when the third unit started. The staff was terrible and the manager didn't do his job. I was glad to have moved out from this place. If I could give lower than 1 star, I would.

SABRINA G | First ImpressionsWe had an old van in storage through U-Haul for over 15 years. We had to move it from one location to another in the middle of that time. We are out of state so it was a huge inconvenience for us. We really didn't get any help from anyone at U-Haul. We were sending monthly payments through the mail for most of that time and fairly often, it got lost somewhere along the way and were charged late fees that mostly got waived when we would call to tell the managers that we'd sent payment, but still had to resend the fee which was a hardship for us. Finally, we decided to pay electronically so to put an end to that nonsense. Now at the end, we were notified about a month before that it needed to be removed again permanently and again received no help from anyone at U-Haul. We were unable to go to Colorado from California this time and so lost the van completely, after paying all these years to store it. We're very angry about this, but there's now nothing we can do. We really would have appreciated more assistance in finding a towing company and another storage facility and getting it done without us having to physically be there, but I guess that just wasn't possible from U-Haul. I don't think we will ever use U-Haul ever again for anything.

I filed a claim with the person at the reception, but he didn’t explain on what to do next. I also checked all the storage facilities around me and no other locks were cut open. I guarantee that the person working here on May 28th has something to do with this break in. He put as all the way in the back for a reason where there are no cameras.

David B | Online Move InThe storage had stains on the wall and there was no lights inside when I needed to access my unit at night. They also confused my storage unit with someone else’s. They had canceled the other persons storage and did mine by accident, and in doing so they had to change my pay day since they had to reapply me for my unit. They kept raising the prices on me about every few months. Over all the storage was alright but there was a lot that could have been worked on.

They said sorry about that. But 4 times in 3 months is not right. Now they are putting up a better fence and cameras. That won't pay for the stolen items. It wasn’t anything of high value but kind of ruins the valve of storage when you pull your thing out of storage and they are damaged. Also the light in the storage unit did not work. Not a major deal A also but for $150 a month you would expect a dry well let place. Great place to store your stuff but just make sure you don’t need to go at night and that your stuff is not irreplaceable or too expensive.

When we got towed there, everyone was very understanding of our situation and helped us come up with a plan that worked for us. We were able to move all of our items from the rental truck into one of their storage units with no problems. It was a very good experience after a lot of hassle with the truck breaking down.
