I am very disappointed with the way the manager handled the rental. I was not able to use the trailer that I rented and had to pay for it anyway.
Through no fault of the employees this was not a great experience. I tried the no contact 24hr service and due to bad internet at this location the 24hr no contact service took 45min to complete! Plus, I even had to go inside the business to complete this process which should have been effortless. This was very frustrating as I had movers waiting at my home for me to arrive 30 min away. This experience did not make my moving day easier, but more stressful.
The guys are ever so helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend this uhaul location to anyone in need
It was a smooth process. The covid social distancing procedures were smooth and the employees were nice and helpful.
The lady and man that helped us out was very helpful. Once we were hooked up with the trailer we rented,I noticed the tralier next to us would be better for what we were moving. We ask if it was possible to change out trailers and she had no problem doing the extra paper work,even 10 minutes after they had already closed. We really appreciated them. ~ Thanks Brandy

The trucks at this location are not being maintained. We have had 4 breakdowns in the last 5 rentals. The mirrors are falling off, the transmission is not working, the starter does not work - and these are all issues the manager, Paul, knows about but says it is the OWNER who refuses to do anything. The lack of maintenance compromises the safety of my team - and I refuse to rent from this location again until they get their act together. It takes way too long to pick up the truck - using the mobile method - no less than 30 minutes to get the truck. Meanwhile, Santa Fe location - we are in and out. Trucks are well maintained and clean.
They do not go over the contract with customers. We told Veronica that it would be a one way and she set it for in town. I then had to drive 2 hours back to take the car dolly back. After I tried to return it to the Canon City location. I got the run around from customer service and 1-800-go-U-Haul. I WILL NOT USE U-HAUL AGAIN OR SEND AND OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO THEM.

Was supposed to pick up in Longmont. At last minute was told if I wanted the truck I would have to go ask the way to Denver to pick it up. When I arrived home in Longmont I noticed they did not put the dolly I rented in the truck. The next day I hand to m as me numerous call for a place to pick up the dolly. I kept getting put on hold at one time for 30 minutes then the man sent me to a place to pick up a dolly and the place wasnâ€™t even open. Then no one would answer the phone. Finally i tried a different number and a lady answered and helped me. But she too had to send me far away to pick up the dolly. It was beyond frustrating when you are trying to move.
well first of all I don't appreciate people tell me where I should take your guys's equipment specially when I'm not on your payroll and not just that used to be if you take it to a U-Haul facility that carries the name U-Haul and you deliver it on time you would not get penalized regardless where it went as long as it was U-Haul I do not appreciate you people tell me I'm going to get paralyzed $200 cuz I didn't take it to a location that you wanted me to take it to when you got employees they can turn around and go after the vehicle and take it word needs to go cuz that's on your amp is on your payroll as a customer I don't appreciate being told I got to take it somewhere Elwes ammonia penalize for delivering to a U-Haul facility so you all need turn some things around and N Stuff cuz otherwise you guys ain't going to exist very much longer cuz you won't penalize people for turning in a U-Haul truck at a U-Haul facility regardless it's not the location it needs to go to I am not on U-Hauls payroll and it's a simple fact that it is a big deal with you guys on and off for 20 years and I have not been disrespected as much as I have with U-Haul and U-Haul employees tell me that I'm going to get penalized because of the contract I am a customer customer value is more important if you guys eat a vehicle needs to be taken to a certain location then you got employees that you have or people that carries the name U-Haul name you guys need to move it where he needs to go and still were you tell a customer where you want them to take it I'm not on your payroll and then you going to turn around penalize me but don't take it to work you guys want me to take it far as I'm concerned you can kiss my Rebel ass I do not appreciate you telling me what to do especially when I am the customer
One of the men that works at this location is so rude and unhelpful, a heavy set guy with dark hair and a dark beard. But the rest of the employees are super nice. The app was easy to use, trucks well maintained and and overall good experience.
The young man that checked out the truck for me was very scattered. I requested blankets, he acknowledged that but never put them in the truck. He gave me a very vague description of where the truck was parked. Handing me my paper work at the end of a long stick, he kept pulling back making it difficult to reach over the barrier to reach the paper work

The folks that I dealt with in store were great, particularly when I spoke to Paul on the phone. Unfortunately the only reason that I had to talk to Paul so extensively is because U-Haul really boned me on the reservation that I made. Instead of the 26' truck that I reserved a couple blocks from my house, I received a voicemail saying that my reservation had been changed to a 20' truck 20 minutes from my house. While I was given an extra day and more miles, that doesn't really help me when I have a time frame that I need to keep and need to make the move in one trip. When I went to the U-Haul website to check out if I had other options for a 26' truck, I was still given the option to rent a 26' truck from the location 2 blocks from my house. What the heck?!
I had some complications with the web check in, so I went in. The woman there was so nice and friendly and took care of me.
The truck that I rented had a problem with the seatbelt indicator. It kept shorting out and the alarm would go off. It about drove me crazy as this was happening for the entire 2.5 hour trip from Denver to Laramie. The guy at the UHaul where I picked up the truck talked to his boss and basically said that there wasn't anything that he could do. He told me to call the 1-800 number and report the problem. I ended up not having any choice as I needed to move my appliances up to my new house in Laramie. Might have to try out one of the other rental companies next time.
