ERNEST PI really think an email with return instructions would go a long way. A diagram of the process or something. This is my third U-Haul in the last year since I buy and furnish rentals but there is no clarity anywhere on what to expect when picking up or dropping off.

LANA IWhen I returned the truck at this location, the gas was at the quarter tank as I received it. But they said that there wasn't enough gas in it so they wanted to charge me an extra $50.00 dollars which was way more than putting a couple of gallons in it. So, we took the truck back out to a gas station and put 3 gallons in it. Does that 3 gallons really make that much of a difference. I spent $12.00 instead of $50.

DANIEL ROnly stayed over night due to transmission going out of truck. Had to have items transferred from one truck to another 20’ truck. They arrived at noon and finish at 2:00 pm. Was finally able to get back on the road. Lost 24 hours of driving time.

Debra SI was told I could drop off my auto hauler at this location, without penalty. however, I was charged an outlandish amount when I dropped it off along with the rental truck. $172 “wrong drop off fee” for a $37 rental and I returned Everything back a day early, didn’t get a refund for the extra day and was charged more miles than I actually drove, left the gas tank more full than it was when I picked It up. I drove It not even 10 mikes after pickup and it was already on E alerting me that I needed Fuel. Really disappointed in this entire experience. Paid close to $600 for a rental truck and a car hauler for a day.

JOSHUA FOur UHaul storage unit was excellent. It was easily accessible and there were carts always available for use. I do wish there were rows of lights over the units in addition to the automatic lights in the well lit hallways. I highly recommend these storage units!
DAVID F | Overall ExperienceI rented the truck for four days and they don’t give you any refund when you bring it back early. So my advice is rent it for a couple of days then add another day or two if you need it. If not you’re wasting your money.

STEVE HVery gruff, inconvenienced, kind of pissed off employees with terrible customer service skills. They did work with me to fix my towing lights and replaced a plug for free, that was great. But they acted mad about it the whole time.
DEAN JOwing to flooding we had a very short time to move our entire warehouse. Having U-Haul at our back made that move possible. They have our heart felt gratitude for their part in a successful evacuation.

I also didn't like the height of the ceiling in the unit as some pieces of furniture had to lay on their side to go into it, and this forced me to rent a larger unit to get everything into it. The price of storage units is among the highest in the area, however it was convenient to have a storage unit at the same location as a moving truck rental, as well as a unit that was climate controlled. The staff at this location were very friendly, professional, and helpful.

The unit was very clean and the UHaul staff was very helpful and friendly. We were really thankful for the use of the carts because it made getting everything to the unit much easier than using a furniture dolly. The only thing that puzzles me is why the ceiling is lower in a 10X10 than it is in a 5X10.

We also always appreciated how clean , and I mean unbelievably clean your place was and that you maintained the place so there were no bugs or rodents in there either. I cannot tell you the peace of mind that we had the whole time our belongings were in your storage, because we knew that it was very securely kept, and and maintain to the utmost degree. I would have appreciated more instructions to that particular keypad since there wasn't an actual gate. My unit also smells of mold and mildew, so I'm genuinely concerned about storing my belongings there but it's too late to choose another unit with movers coming tomorrow to move my items in.

The only reason I’m giving a good rating is because of Ray. He went above and beyond. I had to switch units because the one I reserved was too small and there were trucks parked in the way of the new unit I rented. Ray made it happen and took care of everything I needed, while being professional the whole time.

Sissy maintains these units with the same love and care as we would in our homes, always greets everyone with a great big smile and “How are you today?” and checks in on you during your visit(s) to your unit. Sissy loves her job and be assured you will be taken care of. The next time I have a storage unit need this location on Alcoa Road will be my first choice.

This company is a joke they've gotten too big for their bridges and they need to be knocked down a peg or 2. And the manager John Webber when I told him what the problem was well Ma'am I don't think he really did that so basically the man stood there called me a liar. And don't worry I will be leaving reviews everywhere on the Internet that I can Facebook Instagram Yelp Google all of it. I tried to solve this dispute and I was called a liar so you can have your review and I'm glad that it stays.

It seems someone was taking advantage of it so instead of looking at cameras to correct the perpetrator, they punished all of us! I was disappointed with corporate as when they emailed that they were charging my credit card, they refused to attach my invoice so I had to waste my time and John's staff time calling them to send the invoice to me! I tried to go on the website to get it one time. It was very difficult navigating through it to even find the invoice so I never tried again!

The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Every part of the customer service side of the experience was very good. The only issue I had is that two my my units were on the second floor and there’s no elevator to take heavy items up and down. It worked out fine but I wasn’t really aware the units were on the second floor before getting there. Overall good experience though. I would recommend utilizing this facility.

Luckily residue is coming off wood furniture but some paper products ruined.

I rented one of the biggest units they had in climate control and it was on the top floor. Looking around it seemed like all the large units were upstairs and the small closet units were on the first floor. Seemed completely opposite of what you’d expect which made for a really long and tiring moving experience because of the ten stairs that had to be climbed with every load. That flaw in design is what really makes this storage unit rental questionable, because the staff was extremely friendly and the facility was super clean and well lit. A+++ for the staff and cleanliness, D for the storage unit design and practicality.

I receive an email before hand letting me know what was happening and I did not need to do anything. The next time I went over to the unit, I found things in disarray. A mirror had fallen, bins were tipped over, etc. Nothing was broke, but scratches to some fallen frames were noted, keepsakes in the bind had shifted, wrinkling things. Not happy about that. Other than the one incident, everything else was good. In addition, when asking your questions on this feedback form, I would rather see ratings from say 1-5 instead of yes/no. In some cases I would have rated 3 or 4 letting you know it was not up to par. Instead, I answered yes because I didn't want to say no.
