I was charged a late fee before my due date. Due date the 25th of May 2025..I was charged $15 on the 27th and again on the 8th of April for late April and the due date hasn't arrived yet. They lied and said that's the way it is and there was nothing that could be done about. I definitely plan on contacting HQ..I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Great customer experience huh, never again I rather pay a lot of money else where that is more secure than do Uhaul again.

I observed a parked car of people smoking weed at the gate entrance. Then an individual is tampering with the panel box because he doesn’t know how to get out. I noticed in my rear view that individual and a 2nd person walking out of the gate. I’m going to the office in the morning to see about another unit or canceling.

Robert BThe truck was dirty on the exterior, the interior was clean other than the windows, I had to personally clean the windows due to the fact my vision was impaired from what was on the inside of the windshield. Second I was given a trailer with a nail in the tire and discovered this after I loaded my car onto the trailer at home and noticed the flat tire myself. This is unnacceptable PERIOD, I'm glad I found the flat tire on the trailer, while parked in my drive way instead of on I-77 as the tire would've exploded. This could've caused damage to my personal property or even worse could've caused me to wreck and god forbid could have cause serious bodily injury or even death. The trailer Equipment should've been good to go before I even left with it. Another note on the trailer I was rented, none of the parking/marker lights were operational on the sides or the rear, the only thing that worked on the trailer were the brake lights.I'm glad i was daytime driving and not night time driving, by the books no working marker/parking lights on a trailer or vehicle is illegal. The wires for the trailer were damaged prior to service on my haul they need to be replaced before that trailer goes back into service.

JANE DTire pressure light was on in vehicle, was confirmed with location as a broken sensor that would not reset (unclear why it was not taken for repairs?). There was debris (wood scraps with rusty nails) left in the truck bed, had to throw that out before loading my furniture in it. There was a face mask, lighter, and keychain left under the passenger seat (not great dealing with a stranger’s face mask during a pandemic, clearly not really disinfected or cleaned before being rented again). However, truck was drivable and full of fuel. Overall, average experience.

Upon return I forgot my phone and couldn't complete the after hours return so I was charged and wasn't aware that I would be. I attempted to call uhaul to explain, 20 minute hold. Also went back home to get my phone but already turned the keys in so couldn't compete. Someone needs to notify customer not to drop off after hours alone and not to leave phone because you will be charged regardless of the hassle it was for them sending me to location to location since where I reserved did not have the truck I reserved.
CHENEDA HPlease clean and disinfect the inside of the truck especially during the pandemic. Please have the 1/4 tank of gas that is stated in the contract. The gas tank light was lit up when I picked up my truck.

I walked to the office to inform the person on duty that my key was not fitting my lock and it looked as if a key had been broking off into my lock. I asked was there anything he could do or if he could cut the lock off my storage. I was told that Uhaul do not cut locks and I would have to call a locksmith. I asked if I had the supplies could I cut the lock myself because I needed to get my stuff out. I was told by the employee that it was my lock and yes I could cut it. I therefore went to Home Depot to buy bolt cutters for $26+ to cut the lock. It took 1+ hour to purchase bolt cutters and cut the lock from my storage ( a lot of wasted time that my people had to wait to help me move my things). Once we get the lock off and started to grab things my current lock is lying on my furniture. I therefore tried it with my current key and it opened right up. Now I'm upset because I was not notified that it had been changed, I contacted the office and the person wasnt helpful he didn't even walk to the storage to assist or inform me that it had been changed. I had to spend extra money and extra time getting into the storage. I took video of the storage and the locks. I also had a little water damage on my stuff. I rented for 2 years and it wasn't bad considering it was an outside storage however Im upset and need to be reimburse for spending the money and time due to poor customer service. If only I had noticed that the lock was changed I would not have spent extra money on bolt cutters and my movers having to wait over and hour for me to cut the lock. Please keep your office staff up to date on changes, had your staff known that the locks had been changed all of this could have been avoided. I have the cutted lock as well as my current lock as proof if anyone would contact me at 803-743-8360. Again no major complaints until Move-out day this was so frustrating.
