I had a confirmed pickup of truck and transport at ONE location. Instead, two OTHER locations for pick up of truck and then transport. And back AGAIN to load my car. 1/8 tank of gas so another stop. $15 credit for gas but Safe Move was added for $25 day without me really being aware. The total seemed right but I didn’t realize the transport still hadn’t been added for $100 more at the next location. You blew up my phone with location changes for the return and repeated calls to “please confirm return” well ahead of due date/time. Equipment was clean. Staff were professional. Uhaul has a near monopoly on the moving business.

I never had a problem with this storage facility other than sometimes they were very busy with a line of people in the office/store and not even staff. But as for my storage unit, everything was good.

My only issue is with the reservation process. I made a reservation 2 months in advance and had to call the day before my rental to determine where to pick up the trailer. My round trip travel was over 2 hours - last year when I did the same type of rental it was over 3 hours. U-Haul needs to do better managing equipment locations - the customer shouldn’t have to travel 1-2 hours to pick up reserved equipment.

The service at this location was slow but helpful. My biggest issue with U-Haul is that my reservation fell through and I had to find a different service center. This required a longer drive and time commitment. I am still bewildered at how a reservation could be dropped without notifying me in advance. I could have made another trip arrangement if the timeline was an issue.

The excessive wait times to pick up and drop off were very excessive with my last 2 rentals. Today I waited 20 minutes to drop off. Pick ups have been similar. This is frustrating.

Everything was spot on with my UHaul Pod services. The only thing was the pod pickup came earlier than my expected window and I was not quiet ready - the woman gave us 20 minutes to wrap up. Besides that everything went smoothly.

I was very happy with my experience using a storage unit here. I was so worried about finding bugs or any other kind of icky things when moving my stuff out but as I unpacked everything was in amazing condition. Even the bathrooms in here were nice

My trip was delayed by 4 hours because your agent told me the trailer lights were working. After a friend checked the lights, they were not even plugged into my vehicle. This could have caused a crash and I would have sued Uhaul for bid dollars. I picked up the trailer at 830am on Friday, March 28th. The guy that checked me out at the counter and checked my lights was a blonde haired man about mid 30s about 5'9''. This man should be immediately fired before he causes an accident due to his laziness.

My price was all messed up when I went to go pick it up. The manager had me quoted at a much higher number than ordinarily priced. Not his fault but holy crap, you all need to communicate.

The location itself was fine, but when I walked into the office, there were four employees hanging and and laughing and when I asked for help in returning the truck I was told to move it (15 feet) and that I had to do everything with the app outside. I was running late to get to the airport, and I was totally put off that with 4 people working (and no other customer in sight), that no one would help me directly. What poor customer service!

The store that I rented the car, Dolly from. Originally called them at about 630 6:45. I asked if they had any car dollies available. I was told no that he would have one in the morning and I needed one right away that night. I called another store nearby. He said no I have none available and he said let me check another store. And he had told me to store I originally called had two of them in stock because he looked up the inventory. Then he told me if I get there when I called that same original store again. He says well if you can get here by 7:30 then I’ll write you the dolly. I just have a feeling the person that was working that night just did not want to deal with any customers.

Very smooth process for picking up and returning the vehicle. There should be more staff available for simple pick up of a reserved vehicle, or perhaps an automated kiosk. I waited in line for over 10 minutes behind a confused customer who asked multiple questions and in the end didn't even have the means to pay for their reservation.

I reserved a truck to be picked up at the Indian School location. Days later, I received an email for a pick up at another location, a food mart. When I got to the food mart on the day of pick up, the lone employee of the food mart was. clueless and rude. I was told I had to figure it out myself and get online. I got online with my phone and could not make the software allow me to receive the truck. I called the U-Haul 800 number and was told to go back to the Indian School location to pick up a truck, and they were also rude. This was after taking over 11/2 hours of my time. Next time I will use Penske, Ryder or anyone other than UHaul. Your people are rude and act as if they are being imposed upon, and your equipment is not in good working order. The truck was filthy. Terrible company.

He not only was professional and courteous and made renting our truck a pleasure with a quick seamless transaction, but he was so personable.. We rented two units in a climate controlled facility while our home was being renovated over several months just a mile away. It was further convenient that this was also a truck rental facility. We rented an very price-competitive truck for a half day to return the stored items to our home. GM Robert Goodman and his team do a great job. Highly recommended.

A gentleman who checked me out and initially assisted me did an awesome job mult itasking any created a good experience, the gentleman who seem to have closed the office that equally was very rude as I was in the process of pushing my car into the building he locked my girlfriend in the building and preceded to the office to speak to her from behind a door. I had less than four big items to move in and I will seeking a little bit of grace at least getting them in the door making the trip through the facility shorter. I do understand that it was closing time but the gentleman was very short very rude and didn't really seem to care that he had just made twice as hard and twice as longer for me.

1.) I was offered a free first month of storage for renting a one-way truck but instead I was charged for two storage units. Now I have to wait 2-3 days to get my money back. 2.) Accessing the storage was confusing since I had to enter all my information again through the app just to find out my unit number and access code. After a series of phone tag, the building manager provided an alternative code which brought me to discover that my unit was not even in the building, but in a secret yard hidden in the back.

The staff purposely rerouted their phones during business hours to the central UHaul call center to avoid taking calls. It took two weeks, four phone calls, and several messages to the place just for them to acknowledge a move-out request. It took so long that another billing cycle was almost completed. I've never seen people try so hard not to work in my life. Absolutely shameful.

I had my storage unit for over 8 years. During that time, I never accessed my unit because I had moved out of state within 2 weeks of renting my unit. The current manager was nice and didn't charge me for the current month because I was taking everything out, but I had to have it cleaned out that day. I greatly appreciate his gesture. I went to unlock my unit and found the key and combo I used didn't work. The staff said they couldn't cut the lock off because only a third party company did that at auctions. I had to go buy a bolt cutter and my son cut the lock off. Imagine my surprise when I opened my unit to see two locks that had been cut off laying on the ground inside the storage doors. They had cut off my lock sometime during the last 8+ years and never said anything to me. This is why I couldn't get the lock to open. The second lock cut off and lying on the ground was a UHaul lock. I understand if a renter is past due that their unit is in jeopardy of being auctioned and a customer's lock would be cut off at the time of auction. However, as my storage unit was outside (not climate controlled), there were additional places to add one of their locks to not allow me to access the unit until I paid late fees/rent that I owed. Cutting off my lock was completely unnecessary, and I should have been informed this happened. Unfortunately, after 8+ years, I can't be 100% certain if any of my items were taken until I go through everything, but it was clear my things had been moved and gone through. This is a huge betrayal of trust. One would think paying almost $20,000 of storage rent over 8+ years would guarantee my items would be safe and secure. I'm very disappointed and will not use them for any storage needs in the future.

This location was recently burglarized and some trailers were stolen. My camping trailer was being stored there and the people burglarized my trailer and broke my storage container. When I made management aware of this they were no help at all. I found it very disappointing that Uhaul didn’t want to help me with the situation. I will never do business with Uhaul again and will not recommend it to my family and friends.

The area for parking cars was not well maintained and very dirty. Bird droppings and dead birds were everywhere. When I parked my vehicle in the assigned spot, it was covered in bird feces in a very short time. Ended up not wanting to use the space. Would not recommend that anyone leave a car at this facility.

Worst experience EVER!!! Not only did I show up to get my storage unit that I prepaid for, but it was no longer available! I had to change my location and get a unit that was not air-conditioned! Who knows how much stuff in my storage is going to be completely destroyed by the heat in Arizona! All Uhaul cares about is the all mighty dollar! Overall great reviews with one exception. The online storage unit process is not clear about how you get to your storage unit. I had to change my reservation after learning the only means of second floor access was via a stairwell. I had to pick something with drive up access so I could unload heavy items using a ramp and a hand truck. I get to the Phoneix location and its incorrect they had no storage. The next location 8miles down the road, internet was down along terrible customer service. I was advised all the wrong information the whole time and on top of speniding over $1100 the exprience was the worst I ever had.

Had my storage unit broken into two flat screen tv taken to sound systems taken car woofer speaker amp Xbox and several other items taken. And was given number to call which was no help. And pay 175 for inside unit and things still get stolen

Had a glitch with switching credit cards which wasn't handled properly so I got a late fee for non payment which was later reversed but it too three phone calls and finally a trip in person to the facility to get the late fee refunded. Call center was great but never got a call back regarding the late fee from the storage facility which was annoying.

Stored a vehicle here for a year and a half. Very convenient to the airport. Access was easy for quick entry and departure from the facility. Staff was always very helpful. Only recommendation would be to provide two access cards rather than just one.

My only comment is that sometimes rules should be bent or modified in certain situations. While I found the staff to be overall helpful there were a few instances that flat "no" could have been a "maybe". One such example was I arrived early at the facility to get some things out of my storage. This was about 20 minutes before the units were to open (unless you had 24 hour access which I did not). I was told no and had to wait. My only other concern is that I get charged for a lot of little extra things that my current storage offers for free. This is one of the reasons why I left. Value and economy. In times like this its very important.

Staff very rude told me I was set up for auto pay then entered my name and address in wrong so I would not get mail. When I confronted them on huge late fees and their mistakes the response was to bad pay or else. Terrible place never again.....

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time staff at 2626 e. Indian school rd. was not interested in customer service at all , not friendly , not helpful and not interested in the least . this is not the last bad review I will be posting .

Property is very crowded as well as the office. My movers couldn’t believe how small and inconvenient the property was making loading/unloading difficult. Access to second floor not accommodating. I found staff to be unfriendly on multiple occasions.
