Michele B | Overall ExperienceCheck in process made me wonder if they knew I brought equipment back. Parked trailer where I had picked it up, went inside, and the young man working the counter said I was all set - but didn't take my name or anything to be able to end the reservation. Charges were correct on my card, but not sure how they knew it was me and what time I had returned the trailer.
TIMOTHY CThe customer service young man asked us kindly to bring the truck back and he gave us a significant discount for doing so. I had originally reserved it as a one-way. Excellent service I would definitely recommend to a friend!
Michele BMy container was shipped to California and I was sent the wrong U box which I’m yet to receive. I’ve had a little to no communication in regards to where it is and when it’ll be shipped, I will never use this company again.

NO ONE CAN PLAN TO MOVE ONLY WHEN THE SUN IS SHINING! I HAVE RENTED TRUCKS IN MY PAST & NEVER EVER HAD WATER ALL OVER MY STUFF THAT MADE IT HARD TO BRING INTO MY APT WITH NEW CARPET ETC THEY BASICALLY TOLD ME IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT SO I GUESS IT WAS MINE. I WAS CLEANING OUT MY OLD EMAILS NOW & RAN ACCROSS THIS ONE & I HAD TO LET YOU KNOW HOW I GUESS THINGS ARE CHANGING & CUSTOMER SERVICE NO LONGER MATTERS!

Took almost a half a day to get ahold of someone at the location and had to take extreme measures to talk to the manager at the location. The delivery of my first box was also not at the scheduled time and I was told "the system does one thing and we do another"...... I will not be recommending Uboxes to anyone to use

I created my account, put my info and CC info in. Then I went to make my reservation. Instead of pulling it from my profile, I had to enter it all again. Why even set up a profile? Again the pickup/drop off and trailer was an excellent experience.

ANDREW S1. Mouse bait/traps were out, but I still found a live mouse in my storage unit and pray it didn’t do any damage! Tough job to keep mice at bay but it’s still critical for a storage provider to be 100% successful at preventing this.
Raymond M | Overall ExperienceThe cargo area wasn’t clean, which I have come to expect from all rentals at this location, but this last rental really ticked me off. The truck absolutely reeked of cigarettes and had a partially smoked cigarette right in the cupholder! Very obvious nobody even stuck their head inside it. I had to sweep the cargo area, and the door was so stiff opening/closing, it was nearly unusable. The lock provided on the door didn’t even work; I had to go buy one after I started loading. The van was pretty loud and worn out, as well. To add insult to injury, when I reported the van not being ‘clean and ready for the next family’, a cleaning fee got tacked on to my bill. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience.

Ken WI was incredibly impressed with the set up of the facility. The drive in access and the carts made unloading so so easy. The lock being provided was a nice touch and the overall security is great. Having a bathroom right there was also a nice touch. I’d recommend this to anyone needing a climate controlled storage unit.

Then at my pick up time I was told I could go to another location to pick up a dolley. Why should I have to go to the other location. Why wasn't the dolley at my location it's called service. Then none walked me to the vehicle to go over anything. The key did not start the truck. Had to walk in to get another key. Was told it was a full tank it was slightly below 3/4 full. Absolutely horrific service. What a joke

Also when I re paid the payment I had already sent I called, emailed uhaul and told them that I had emptied out the storage and was no longer in need of there services I was told that i couldn't end it until i brought back the key to the lock which was provided by uhaul which I had left in the storage i had rented and was continuously charged by uhaul when numerous of times i informed i didn't have the key and i had moved out of state and they still harassed me and charged me at uhaul l HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS HAVE AN OUTSTANDING BILL THAT I KEPT NO ITEMS OR THINGS IN THE UHAUL STORAGE UNIT.

Sandra S | Online Move InI enjoyed using the Uhaul storage space but the only recommendation is that I would offer a financial hardship option for customers who might be dealing with a difficult financial situation. For instance, I fell into a financial hardship and could only place my items in storage. Once they were stored I still struggled with finding employment and had to move my things before being auctioned. I would suggest Uhaul, having a possible payment plan to avoid customers from losing there valuables if they were in a financial hardship situation.

The floor of the unit sloped down the farther toward the back wall you went so water seeped in under the door. We had quite a few items damaged. Uhaul may wish to know about this issue for future customers.

She’s well spoken and VERY, VERY nice to the customers(she has a good sense of humor too!). But she needs help! I mean HELP as in employees. She can’t there 24/7. And the people(to be honest, there’s only one person there), claim not to know the system because that is not the store they work usually. I am over 60(well over), and I don’t like using the app! I prefer in person contact and a hard copy of every transaction. That’s why I would not recommend this u-haul location because my friends are the same and they like computers as well as I do!

Jacqueline P | Online Move InMoving into the storage was a bit disappointing because there was a big Uhaul truck in one of the loading/unloading spots on one end of the building and another construction like work vehicle parked at one of the other loading/unloading spots. There are only 4 spots and it makes moving your things take longer than need be because you have to wait for someone to move. I just think that the facility is too big to be designed the way that it is…needs more loading/unloading spots.

Unfortunately, U-Haul has the worst software and computer system I have seen for modern Company that ha been a business as long as you have. Every time I’ve been in there the computers crash, and it’s difficult for the employees to navigate you’re stupid software. Does clicking on things more often make it a better system? Not very user-friendly, or customer friendly. I hope you didn’t actually pay somebody to create this software. Employees were awesome though!

The vehicle I was returning had a key phob connected to the key and it wouldn't fit into the drop box. I tried prying on the box to be able to properly drop my rental off and the door fell open and that made me very nervous for extra charges. Larry P | Online Move InTo begin we were guaranteed a 20ft truck (the only size that would work for moving to a new state) at a specific location nearby. The day before pick-up we were contacted and told that truck size doesn't exist at the guaranteed location and we could drive to a further location for a 15 ft truck (way too small!) They should've delivered the truck to our location instead of making us drive 3 hours round trip, taking 3 hours out of a workday and losing us that part of a days paycheck and wasting our time and stress. Once we got the truck unloaded and headed to the storage unit we'd pre-registered and that was included free with our one way truck rental, the trouble and headaches kept coming. We were originally given a 10x5 at another facility, but when we got to the unit, it's actual measurements were 5x5, even the worker said that happens, that U-Haul's dimension of storage spaces don't always match the dimensions they advertise them as, he measured it for us for confirmation. We had to call customer service (plus 15 minutes of in hold time) to locate another facility with the size we needed because the store was unable to look it up or call them. We had no way of double-checking with the new facility whether they actually had the unit available in that size, and the worker at the one we were at wasn't able to for us (ridiculous they can't call another store locally to check!). We had to blindly drive to the new facility. Upon arrival, check-in was smoothish. The young man wasn't thorough and missed some things we had to correct for him. Then he sent us to our unit and forgot to come unlock our unit for us so we had to go remind them we were there 30 minutes later to which the guy said he'd forgotten we were there. He didn't warn us of the sticky trap on the floor of the unit or point it out at all so I accidentally stepped on it moving something into the unit and ruined the bottoms of good running shoes. All of this made us late for our rented truck drop off time, and lower on fuel for drop off than we were supposed to be, we wouldn't have been if this hadn't all been wrong. Not only was this a drain on finite fossil fuel resources, it was a waste if our time, adding an additional hour of driving around for U-Haul's mistake. This all also made us so late that we missed a ticketed event and were unable to get a refund. Very dissatisfied with the company and the customer service as a whole for wasting at least 5 hours of our time, energy, and emotions.

Even though on-line confirmed my storage unit, when I showed up there was no unit available to rent. I tried calling another store but must have been directed to your main call center. The person who helped me reserve over the phone got me the correct size confirmed available but when I showed up to the store I was informed the only two units were on the second and fourth floor and there is no elevator. I finally went to a third location before I was able to get the unit.

Victoria S | Online Move InSonya and Vincent did a great job of helping me despite the system being down. This made it really difficult to get moved in to storage and rent a truck. Nothing was really explained how anything worked there and had to make several return trips to the front desk (and wait several minutes because of the line) to just ask "How do I even get in to the bay?" or "What truck should I take?" I know part of this was because the system was down and everything was crazy, but it was a huge time waster. A simple video on the app would have worked way better.
Michael L | First ImpressionsEverything was very clean and easy to access. The only issue was one of the bay doors was broke so if someone in a regular vehicle had to wait to get a uhaul tuck in the bay and the number of carts availability. One guy had two carts which was all the carts on that end.

I stood there with not a soul in sight for 10 minutes, then walked out. drove around looking for employees...started a chat online to figure out how to get the keys to my unit, walked back in and there were 2 ladies at the counter, I had good reason to believe that someone informed them about my comlaint..ill leave it at that. Kevin C | First ImpressionsThe management has control issues and makes up policies as they go along tbat suits them. I would NEVER in a million years ever use this facility again or recommend it to anyone. It may be a better place if they got rid of the management team and start with a fresh staff.

randy c | First ImpressionsI was offered a job with federal government, however, I had to relocate to another state to accept the position. This is what brought me to Uhaul. Initially, everyone appeared to be nice and helpful. Unfortunately, after a small mishap on my part, resulting in damage (for which I paid for in full), the manager became very unprofessional and condescending. Additionally, after moving my items out of the free storage, I had to call several times (with no return call) in order to close out the unit. Thankfully, I won’t have a need for Uhaul services any time soon. However, after my experience at this location, I will forego using Uhaul in the future and go with Penske or another moving company.
