We had mice in our outdoor unit in spite of traps. The door seals aren’t the best. The cement is crumbling on the outdoor units at the seals. Otherwise we were fine for the year we were using the unit.

The only complaint I have was the young man who checked me in charged me a cleaning fee of $15. It was clean when I dropped it off. A very nice lady reversed the fee because it was clean. The whole time the young kid ignored the situation.

I was able to find the location easily. I appreciated getting to request an additional day of truck use, since I called before the drop off date. It was easy to pull the truck into the drop off area and the representative took the time to meet me inside to go over the additional charges for the extra day. I noticed the inside area had a lot of supplies available for purchase and displays of storage units also. I was thankful to have my first choice for drop off location, especially considering I did not have that option with the pick up location.

Blankets weren't pre-loaded - I had to make multiple trips carrying blankets to load them. Difficult to back the truck out of its parked spot which was inches from another large truck. During return, there was a line of people waiting to return and no one servicing returns. It ultimately took around 30 minutes for the return.

They made the drop off easier than I expected. He motioned me to pull to an area, he had me make sure the lights functioned and removed the trailer. Asked me if I wanted a paper receipt or just the email. I said email and that was it. I never even got out of my truck, probably 3 minutes from pulling into the lot and leaving. The customer service and efficiency was amazing!

The staff at the location rocked. Early closing hours are an issue, and I got the truck with 1/4 tank of gas even though the contract said it was full, and the online system to dispute it didn’t work at all, so I had to eat $70 to fill the truck up.

Derek Collis was an incredible help with what we needed. The computer system was down when we arrived for our pickup. He apologized to us several times for any I convince ( as well as to the others that came in after us) and continued with their downtime process until we were able to leave. His assistance was appreciated. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous to all. Thank you Derek.

Take some time to clean your moving trucks. The one I got was clean on the inside but the outside was filthy. The worst part was the windows and leaving the facility, I could hardly see being that the sun was setting and I was essentially blinded by the salty film. I literally had to pull over and try to make a clean spot just to drive.

My current personal challenges had me at my breaking point and I was literally in tears trying to navigate my situation when the staff and management came thru with kindness and compassionate consideration and made special accommodations to make the truck and storage rentals flow seamlessly together especially with the many changes around my situation and circumstances!!! My daughter and I are so very grateful to be able to count on them when we really needed something to go right, as nothing else in our personal circumstances was!!! I cannot express enough how awesome the staff and management both were!!! And even the staff we did not deal with directly were professional and courteous! THIS UHUAL LOCATION WAS ACTUALLY THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR WHOLE EXPERIENCE AND WE WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE WHEN WE HAVE TO ‘MOVE’ AGAIN!!! JOhn Paul was terrific! It was a holiday and the beginning of the month. He went the extra mile and called a double booked resesrvation and then called me back. He got UHaul two customers instead of one! He handled my situation beautifully and was extremely courtous on the phone and walked me through the whole process. Moving is stressful as it is, emergency moving even more. The staff at this location did not add to the bad situation at all, in fact Harley and the rest of the team helped to remove some of the stress. I was promised a free months rent after I rented a 6'×12' U-Haul trailer in Poway, California. I arrived at the Carson City, Nevada. I arrived on the 3rd day at around 6:00 pm and the staff checked me right in, gave me a free lock and key for the unit after I was checked in, no charges, no questions asked, and I was given a: 24/7 access card, and I stayed 26 days and left the unit and headed on to; Caldwell, Idaho! The unit was clean, well lit, secure, and I never had any difficulty coming or going getting in or out of my unit even at 3:00 am in the morning moving out on the 22, of December! The staff was professional, very helpful, and most accommodating every time I needed anything, and gave me good instructions for dropping off my trailer after hours, and dumping off trash in their large dumpster, which I was given permission to use! All and all, I had an A-1 experience and stay with both the trailer use and rental, and with the free month's rent and usage of the U-Haul facility in Carson City, Nevada! And so far no additional charges, fees, or complications have been occurred! Also, this facility was beautiful, very large, full service, and stocked with a large variety of trucks, trailers, and tools to make your moving experience easy and hassle free, and thus far, they have kept their agreements of no further charges, or attempts to collect hidden charges! And the evening I arrived, they checked me in, no tricks, no charges, as promised! Well done U-Haul!***** AND: THANK YOU U-HAUL OF CARSON CITY, NEVADA...

You all gave us old raggedy truck I had to keep putting gas in it must need a tune up I moved from Nebraska to Nevada I didn’t appreciate the truck at all and even the windshield wipers didn’t work well we had a bad experience. I already paid 2083 dollars to rent truck if the truck isn’t working properly it should not be rented out .I wasn’t satisfied at all

They were friendly, courteous, got me checked in right away, and I was given a 24 hour pass to get my stuff unloaded which took me several hours, then they gave me instructions on how and where to leave the trailer that night in the yard, and all went well! There is a woman who works days at the Carson city office. She is rude! And not just with my work. She acts as if your customers owe her because she showed up for work. I don't know her name, she is maybe 5'4" dark shoulder length hair and works the opening shift but I will certainly be disappointed if nothing is done to curb the entitled attitude she has. The rest of your staff was very pleasant and professional. Because of her,I will not recommend your services

To keep a very long story short and sweet: it’s been absolute insanity for the past two months trying to find housing and just the packing process itself is chaotic. So the fact that I could reserve my unit and my truck online at the same time for different days was amazing. Even when I had to change my truck pick up date it was one of the quickest things to get done, I just called and she was on it. The whole experience was great, all staff were incredibly helpful and kind. In all honesty, they gave us a really great start to our day and helped us feel not so stressed about moving this week

The rodent repellent was not replaced . Many items were contaminated and had to be replaced by insurance and I feel insurance underpaid us. Before the mice came in and after repellent was replaced it was fine.

It was a great facility and the customer service was great the first time but after two round trip Uhaul rentals, I was told I would get two months free (one for each rental) and I didn’t. When I called. I was flatly told “no”. This was especially disheartening after a huge mixup at the Bakersfield Uhaul that left us with no blankets or packaging supplies after I had ordered them ahead of time. Due to time constraints and having to move without, so much of my furniture got damaged and we had to make two- two day trips. The promise of free rent for two months was some sort of positive and then it was rejected so quickly and coldly.

I was able to reserve a 10x10 storage unit online. When I got to the facility I was told that just because the system let me make a reservation did not mean they had one available. I was actually 5th in line for a unit that size. This left me scrambling to find a suitably sized storage unit on the day of the move. Make sure you go to the facility and see if they actually have what you reserved.

When we first rented our storage unit we put the wrong lock on it. They put their own lock on it and locked us out of our unit. Also when we went into our unit I had 17 containers that were plastic and labeled someone went through all of my containers they pushed our refrigerator to the side which was brand new and the scratch was put on the side of the refrigerator. Because we purchased a new condo after selling our home and had to sell our remainder appliances. When we ended up selling our items out of our unit there was extreme amount of mouse droppings in our unit. And also when we rented the unit it was not cleaned out. During the process our unit went up in cost due to maintenance seeing and also extermination. Which when we were at the unit up and down the aisle there was a bunch of screws nails and bolts that we literally had to pick up and push aside so we wouldn’t get one in our tire of our vehicle. The gates are left open on the far side when some construction work was going on which was totally inappropriate because we felt like our unit wasn’t safe. What is the purpose of having a key card to get in when anyone can get it. I would not suggest this Uhaul as customer service there was advised of the situation with our unit and we were disregarded not only by the employees but also by management

I am quite upset that your companys discontinued the auto outdoor parking 🤪 your price was fair and it’s convenient so not happy I had to give up my spot to a place that’s much farther to go to and costs more money as well. Why would UHaul give up revenue and not use the land there for additional business? So not pleased about that my car is worth over 50,000 and it was comforting to drive by and see it daily.

I found it off-putting, that I was given an access card for accessIng the roll-down storage units within a fenced-in area; but could only access the storage units during business hours! The map and paperwork stated the site was accessible from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, which was not true and was incorrect! I consequently made a wasted, 80-mile round trip to the storage unit...wasting 3 hours of my valuable time, to load a trailer (a UHaul trailer no less), drive there, and not get access. To make matters worse, the signage at the property had the phone number listed of a previous manager (who was quite polite!), and she gave me the number to the new General Manager, who was not happy to be getting a call after hours. Seemed dismissive of my frustrations. This was a verbal communication blunder upon getting the unit, and a printed error problem on both the maps, and the signage at the electronic gate (on the fence). The only good result of this, was that the assistant manager was able to provide a remedy to my displeasure.

The only annoyance was the gate access system. I had two different storage units. Each time, the access did not work at first. The staff said it sometimes takes 5-10 minutes to provision. The staff and managers were terrible.They wouldn’t work with me to get access to my pods past 4pm and then left them outside, uncovered for 3 days. Mice got in a some point. Terrible customer service.

My overall U-Box experience has been very poor from A to B. The icing on the cake was this location loading my U-Box BACKWARDS on the trailer. Truly next-level incompetence.

The Facility was fine but I don’t understand why my u-boxes could not be shipped to Reno. It’s not the facilities issue. It’s U-Haul logistics that was troubling.

The wait time to turn in the truck was over an hour. The storage unit we had ordered and confirmed via telephone was not available, and the manager insisted we pay more to have two smaller units.
