The gas on the initial contract was wrong... the young guy working changed it afterwards....I went 10 miles and was told it would be fine. Then you charged me over 9.00 surcharge for gas. I returned it like it was and was still charged. The rest of the visit was good.
Thad FReturning the truck way after dark was not fun. I had to download the app and then take pics that had to be done more than once for the app to “receive tgem”. As a female out alone near 11 pm, that was very uncomfortable. I could have done all that prior to leaving a location where other people were w me. A heads up on those needs would have been VERY appreciated.

When I returned the truck the worker wiped her finger on the bed of the cargo floor and wanted to know why it was wet. It had been raining. Dumb question to ask.

Elisa MEugene can stop attacking customers with his questions about the truck while rented out to customers. He asked several questions about the rental while it was rented out under my name and during my time. It’s none of his business what I do with a rental truck during the 24 hours. I parked the uhaul at the office of the Uhaul because I could not find parking at my new place so stupid me assumed it would be safe to park at the uhaul over night but according to Eugene it was a dumb idea. I kept the keys in my possession because i obviously was obliged to keep the Uhaul until 1:30 pm and I got a call at 7:00 am asking why the truck was there and not the keys and truck. I informed them that the truck was rented until 1:30 pm and that I would return because I needed to put gasoline in the uhaul and return it at 1:30 pm that day. When I got there Eugene decided to attack and ask WHY I DID NOT TURN THE KEYS IN THE NUGHT BEFORE WHEN I LEFT THE TRUCK? I proceeded to inform him that I had rented at 1:30 pm and owned the truck for 24 hours. He proceeded to say that if the Ugaul was empty and no longer needed I should have returned it. I said no it’s mine for 24 hours and it’s not your business when I return until 1:31 pm. Then it’s your business but during that 24 hours it’s paid by me and I can wait til the last minute to return it or return early it’s my choice. I knew he was upset because he could have rented it out and made money on another rental and I did tell him this exact thing and he smiled and agreed with me. He said he lost out on making money. Well guess what buddy, you’re messing with my money! I own the truck 24 hours not 6 hours!!! Another thing, I accidentally left my wedding ring and diamond necklace in the truck and not once has he called to ask me to come pick it up or for him to mail it to me. I left for work out of state so I haven’t been able to come see him eye to eye and confront him about my jewelry but customers need to know, if you leave anything of value in the truck, YOU WILL NOT GET A CALL FROM HIM TO PICK UP!! He’s money hungry and extremely greedy! Do not rent from this location!!!

DONNA WWhen arriving at the location I started the checkin process on the app. I had read the materials and as instructed had my license ready to go. Except that’s not all you need is it? After entering in my wife’s info and beginning to fill in a second person’s info, I saw the “passport” tab (ridiculous) and bailed on that process. Went inside, gave the attendant my license and was out in 3 minutes. Don’t make it MORE difficult to check out with your app.

They said they did not know why it was locked but did not have any more that size so I had to move up a size and they would not discount it down. I had to pay for the higher unit due to their mistake. 2- the front gate was broken multiple times during the 3 months we had a unit. 3 - the clicker they gave me only opened the main gate and when broken, I could not access my unit 4 - the AC unit was constantly off due to it being old or broken or both so our AC controlled unit only AC controlled half the time 5 - The AC unit broke real bad one time and flooded my whole unit and since I didn’t pay extra for their insurance, all my stuff on the ground and valuables in boxes were ruined. We lost all our books, art, documents and personal items that should have been safe. 6 - they raised their rate mid month and instead of offering a different unit or a way to keep rent the same, they just said either pay or be locked out. Do not recommend

After the first load out of our stuff, we moved to a new town and state where internet hookup was hard to get (3 weeks) and phone reception poor. It wasn't long until we received a threatening letter in the mail from Pamela telling us all the things she can do with our belongings if she's not paid right away. We paid right away and managed to get our belongings out in two more loads before the next due date. That was the only bad experience. We appreciated climate control despite the added expense.

I had multiple climate-controlled units during my relocation process due to there not being one unit large enough for everything. One of the units, which unfortunately housed my high-end, real wood and leather furniture, was okay for the first few weeks I was there (I was repeatedly back and forth every day or every few days during this arrival period to know this), but then got excessively humid at some point after those first few weeks and had mice which left droppings all over my belongings (which inevitably means urine as well). There was only my furniture and no food in my unit to attract them. There was a gap of approximately 3 weeks where I did not go to the facility so I do not know when the mice and humidity started in that period. I reported it to the office and it was notated in my file. In the subsequent/final two weeks, there were no new mouse droppings to the best of my knowledge, but the humidity in that unit remained a problem. Now, on top of just the busyness of moving, I am going to have to contend with some sort of clean up and assessment as to where things stand with the furniture. The other two units I had (one of which was for a shorter duration), were fine the entire time I occupied them. This unit with the problems was also the most expensive (being larger). I am not sure what I paid for in that regard...to damage my belongings and add to my workload of relocating?
