Tracey and here whole crew were always 5 star to deal with. My boyfriend's locker was one of the one's which was flooded last summer and Tracey and her colleagues had pizza and beverages for all the folks who had to come in and inspect their lockers. She tried to make it as painless for everyone. I would definitely use your company again and I wish everyone at UHaul a healthy and prosperous year.

My truck broke down at the side of an highway that did not have lights. I called for help. Operator 1 said call caa to get me off the highway and to my nearby cottage. Then call location in morning to arrange curtousy tow. Caa will not tow a rented trailer. Caa said call uhaul roadside. Called back was told by uhaul that this getting the trailer off the highway to safety is my problem and uhaul will not help. I paid a tow truck privately to tow trailer to cottage. Next morning call rental location who said call roadside to figure out what to do. Roadside now told me they will only tow if the trailer in an unsafe spot and they have no help for me. I understand my vehicle break down is my problem. But a consistent message from uhaul would have been better. Also an option for uhaul to arrange a tow I would pay for would have helped alot. Being told at 11 pm on an unsafe unlit road I am on my own was not a relationship building move.

However, had I known upfront that there was a good chance that the newly acquired RAV 4 Toyota could possibly need a computer reset by the dealership I never would have used U haul to install the trailer hitch and wiring harness,,,,the Toyota dealership was a bit more expensive to do this work but now I have to go there anyways and its 2 hours to Collingwood or a paid service here in Burlington......its your call but I personally would notify clients in advance that there was a 50/50 chance that a computer reset would be required so they could make their own choice,,,,as a result my wife got stranded on a saturday evening on her own afraid to drive the vehicle as all of the emergency notifications lit the info panel.......or even better find a way so that your U haul teams could do this on the spot.....what a major hastle.......you wont see this on Google...this is for your own consideration thank you Lawrence Quinn
Lawrence QThe U-Haul did not start at the beginning until I got help from the rep lady which was fine at the end. When I was retaining the U-Haul I tried to fill the gas the indicator was not moving so I had to fill the tank completely when I moved the indicator start moving so I had to fill the tank completely when returning the U-Haul I explained the situation to the guy behind the desk and I got the most passive and unhelpful respond from him. Even though this is not my first time but am sure it will be the last time I will use a U-Haul.

ANTHONY LThe online quote produces what appears to be a comprehensive breakdown of what the installation will cost HOWEVER when I arrived yesterday the actual quote was almost 15% higher!! The difference is the installation time and amount. The counter person said "the online quote is wrong, I don't know why it shows 30 minutes, it is never that quick". So the "bait and switch" to get me to the store versus the comparatives quotes with competitors turns out to be false. Kind of late to change the installation which I guess is what you are counting on. I will certainly let my friends and family know about this deceptive business practice. Another counter person said "oh that's for Arizona they don't have rust so the installation is quicker, well I had an almost new car with no underbody rust so that excuse is seen just as that another excuse to try to cover for the swap. Very disappointed with the deception, hopefully the installation is better than the quote system...

NHAT TVehicle defaults to tow mode. It took a while to figure out why it was revving very high. This could be explained to renters. Parking reserved for UHaul vehicles should be clearly marked. Vehicle had under an eighth of a tank when I got it. It was difficult to see the mileage as there was a message on the dash saying 43 miles to empty. I had to fill up half way through the move. It worked out fine. I liked the discount for filling it to 1/4 tank so I didn’t have to worry about running out of gas. However I would prefer to get the vehicle with a full tank really.
LANCE WVery efficient, very helpful
H MI rented the 4x9 open trailer with ramp. This trailer is low, so it is easy to load/unload. It has loops and rails, i.e. many tiedown points. Trailer lights, tires, and 2" tongue lock were in top shape. The staff at the front desk and outside (testing and connecting trailer) were all great. Rental and insurance rates were all reasonable. I will rent here again.

DANIEL II rented from U-haul a few times in the past couple years and once I did the review about a trailer I rented that was full of mud inside and I was moving furniture. I had no way to clean the trailer, and had to purchase cardboard boxes to line the entire floor. I gave a review and never heard anything from U-Haul. So why bother asking for a review? This last truck I rented had over 185k on it. I was like renting a rent a wreck.

Curt G | First ImpressionsMy moving date and storage facility was booked and scheduled with Camilo on June 22, 2023 (originally unit 1679) for a Sunday June 25, 2023 move. I also booked a 10' x 15' truck with Mickey on Tuesday June 20, 2023 for pick up/return for my moving day of Sunday and date of June 25, 2023. Both were confirmed with/for me by Camilo and Mickey of your company. On early Sunday morning I received an AI message from U Haul asking me what went wrong with my storage booking and why had I decided not to take it. This was incorrect and I certainly did nothing of the kind. I left a message for a call back, which I got from some U-Haul central office point at approx. 9:00 am. I was able to quickly resolve my truck rental and after some delay I was told that he had found my storage rental as well and confirmed that I was fine to move. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the Mainway U Haul and met with Camilo he couldn't find my storage reservation although he vividly remembered taking the reservation and my credit card to hold it until I came in on Sunday. After some delay, he found the original reservation which he noted had been over- booked by/to someone name Toby B. and I was apparently out of luck. He went to the acting manager who quite frankly was not much him nor I. Camilo diligently went to work to come up with an alternative (which turned out to be a split unit (i.e. 2 units combined) although he also said to me that it looked to be costing $30.00 more. He went to the acting manager RAM, who said he could do nothing to resolve my additional $30.00 concern even though none of the issue of losing the original reservation and subsequent replacement were of any fault of mine. Camilo said he would speak to Tracy Davenport the General Manager on Monday June 26, 2023 as he felt this was unfair also. To date, I have not heard from her yet. I am confident that I will. I have heard nothing but great things about her. I do want my rate adjusted by -$30.00 monthly. Otherwise I felt that both Mickey and Camilo were terrific ambassadors of your company. I did have one late night visit where the front doors would not open after I put my code in. Thankfully I was able to get in with the garage door and the door between the garage and the building was open. So that was my only frustration was that there is no consistency in the doors. Sometimes I would come late at night and the garage doors would open when I got in front of them. Sometimes I would come at night and I'd have to go inside and open the garage doors. Sometimes I'd come at night and the door between the garage and the building would open. Sometimes I would have to turn it on. I'm not sure the one evening when I came that the main door would not open after signing in. The only other thing that I was confused about is I thought the main door would stay unlocked for 30 minutes once I have signed in after hours. And I actually had to sign in every time the door closed to get it to open again when I was loading Thanks

All the material in storage was covered in a thick layer of dust twice, to which I received zero response despite going to the office and being told that the 'manager would be told'. When we got there we got sent to the new location where there are none. With no choice and a full truck we were forced to move deep into a storage facility that was under construction with 24/7 access. Well since it was under construction we did not have access to our side of the building because the code machine was not installed yet. Further more I was absolutely disgusted to find that upon moving out I realized the amount of construction related dust that was all over my expensive belongings. The fact that we were paying 250+ dollars a month for this place is truly sickening and will never consider this properly taken care of unless uhaul makes this right. Which based on my experience with the desk staff I’m not expecting much. Giving this facility a 1 star seems outrageously high in my eyes. From start to finish a lack of care for the type of unit I booked and also just the overall safe keeping and cleanliness of the unit where my valuables were stored.

I d like to mention that the lady I booked with (not the blond one) other lady I think she needs more friendly approach to clients and listen what they ask and needs. My case I asked her storage closer to the loading area and she gave me farthest one and took us 3 hours to unload our stuff half of this time was just walking in front of the empty similar size storages. I was so frustrated , each time she was coming from outside smoking cigarettes and smell was unbearable. I am sorry to tell the truth .

Another thing is that, every time i open the lock, the alarm went on. So loud and annoying. I have to go talk to staff 3 times, problem still not solved. The light on the hall way is good but for the unit inside is not bright enough. It will be great if you can improve these.

Also, on the day we moved out, we discovered that epoxy from a previous floor job had leaked into our unit and onto some of our boxes/content. I alerted 2 staff and no one even apologized!

Terrific service, very well organized, helpful and easy to find. The Manager was great, friendly with a very chipper, organized staff. Randal R | First ImpressionsThe staff have been amazing. The gentleman working last night was so friendly and genuine. Tracy has been so accommodating throughout the whole process. Moving is a stressful time and this uhaul location has been so helpful. We will continue to use this location/facility and have already recommended it to friends. The only reason I said no to the access hours being convenient is because there is no access code to the storage facility yet. I understand it will be installed sometime within the next two weeks... so not a big deal. We are still very happy with this location.
