The van I rented gad filthy windows that I could barely see out of. One of the vents for the AC was completely missing.

EDUARDO PI need a rental truck for 4 hours max. I Drove my car to U-Haul to a box truck for couple of hours and can not park my car on U-Haul property even there was empty 4 parking spots. I was at U-Haul at 4pm and must return by 8pm. So there is no way I will hold the parking spot for unnecessary time. Employees must need to make good judgment.

Daphne PI rented a trailer for ONE DAY - 10/22 (4:04PM) to 10/23 (11:26AM), not even 24 hours. My credit card has been charged for 2 days. Now I have to take the time and energy to get this money back when it's obvious that I returned it on 10/23, NOT 10/24.
SHAD WNo dolly was provided. Approached by multiple groups of men in the parking lot being very forceful about offering moving help and trying to give me their business cards - felt very unsafe, I am a single female. The location of pickup and drop of was changed multiple times. I was 2 hours late for my move in because of the change in pick up was moved to a different town over 20 minutes away, and was told I’d be credited for this inconvenience and was not. I was charged full price. When I arrived at the location the truck was not ready at all and the store attendant had to go find keys for multiple other trucks and move them around so I could even access the truck. Again making me even later to my move in time. Worst experience I’ve ever had. I paid for a dolly I didn’t receive and was never credited as promised. Filing a formal complaint. 0 stars

JOHN TThis is the worst location I have been to. At pick up time, agent was out cleaning the trucks and door locked. He was very annoyed and power tripped when asked how long would I need to wait after 15 minutes. Go to Northridge location.

JOSHUA SEverything was good but we wanted to keep the truck for the rest of the day and the attendant told us that we could not and closed the account. Also, there was a drunk man seating in the truck and there was vomit inside. We had to through out some furniture because of that.
ALBERTO CAs I explained to store, the van I was given on Sunday had an interior that was 1/3 smaller on the inside, which I didn't realize until I was already 40 miles away, (and no one at Uhaul told me) and it wouldn't fit all the items I had brought on Friday, therefore causing me to have to hastily rent a truck from Home Dept on a Sunday afternoon, which cost me an extra $100 on top of the $110 I paid to Uhaul for the van (rental and gas.) Swell.

HAGOP KThe guy running the show Friday, very friendly, on top of his game, pleasure to deal with. However, you are understaffed, previous customer cleaned out a trailer on your lot. Nails, screws, tile and dirt. I was asked to drive over the pile, got a bolt in my tire tread, no flat but come on ... I got a broom and swept it out of the driving lane. The pile was still there the next day . Your guys could use some more help. One tire on the trailer was less than 2/32 The other 3 were great. As usual, thank you for your great service. I will be back again. Wish you had some larger enclosed trailers...

EDWIN AI was asked to move the truck out of an enclosed small area… I did not feel comfortable so I asked a worker to move it out and he hit the equipment that was behind the truck. The rentals should be moved and ready to leave moving forward, not having to back up and maneuver the rental out of a small space. They can do better with customer service. The rate was not explained to me, when I was asked to pay I luckily read the small print because the amount on the screen was over $100 more than what I was told when I made the reservation on the app. I am not happy… they definitely need better management.
BRANDI AWould recommend this U-Haul location, but not U-Haul. U-Haul uses bait and switch tactics. I booked a 17-foot truck, but they switched it a few weeks before the move to a 20-foot truck. Did they offer to pay the difference? No. A few days before the move, they changed the location, adding 20 miles onto my bill. Did they offer to pay the difference? No. This is not the first time they’ve done this to me. Would not recommend U-Haul.

SEPEHR TThe van was great. Exactly what I needed. Issue with my original reservation being changed at the last minute delaying my moving plans and distance to location. Representative at pick up location was not able to clearly explain charges to me. Owner explained it to the rep but never addressed me directly…weird experience. Representative on phone credited me $50, which I appreciate. I’ve used UHaul exclusively for decades, and will continue doing so. Today’s experience could have been a lot better.
James TOnly one employee helping a customer filling up propane 3 propane tanks. Had to wait approximately 10 minutes. When the employee finished with the propane, another employee came out of a room to help. The 20’ truck I rented had not been washed and the windshield was so dirty I could barely see out of it.

ROBERT GI along with another person standing in line had made reservations in advance so that I didn't have to stand in a long line in order to get the truck. Instead, it took well over half an hour of waiting which translates to my movers charging me $100 for half an hour of delay, since they were there on time. If customers with reservations have to stand in the same line as ones who don't, why bother telling us to make a reservation for fast check-in? Your customer service was excellent once I made it to the front, but otherwise, I was not happy with the additional amount it cost me to get this truck.

SEPEHR TAll vehicles should be FULL of fuel before leaving the yard. That way customers know exactly how much fuel to replenish before turning the vehicle in. It is extremely difficult to guage how much fuel to replenish if only a fraction of the tank is full when they leave the yard. More often than not I have paid more than I needed to when I've rented from U-Haul in the past.

Initially, my experience was terrible due to some extremely bad treatment I received from an employee and the manager being only somewhat helpful. I was weary every time I had to return there. He initially couldn’t find my reservation and then didn’t acknowledge he found it and made me feel like it was my fault and I did it all wrong. After I saw the unit, I went in to speak to him because it was too small. He initially told me that he didn’t have a larger one when he had just told me that there was one bigger when he couldn’t find my original booking. The reality was he was having trouble finding it but could only admit that much later. I apologize for us getting off on the wrong foot, which was glad to accept, but he did not reciprocate in any way, so I gave up pursuing that path. A few hours later, as I was unloading, his employee ignored me as I tried to ask him 3x why he was walking around my trailer. When he finally responded, he was totally disrespectful. He rudely told me he worked there, as if that gave the right to do whatever he wanted to and dismissed people who speak to him. This angered me so I called him on that and he just upped his rude attitude. I told him he must hate his job and he physically threatened me. I then told him I’d call the police but he didn’t seem to care. The manager came by right then and I told him what happened and all he did was tell his employee not to talk to me. There was no apologies offered and his employee was reprimanded in any way. The manager did give me an extra day on my trailer rental for free. I needed that because all their storage units were much smaller than I expected and the only other unit available was slightly bigger than the one I’d originally rented. I thought of finding another place to storage but I had to return the trailer there so I really had no choice. I wasn’t told it was on the upper level so I had to spend a lot of time negotiating what I could actually put in the space. The whole experience didn’t make me feel valued as a person but as just another nameless faceless customer who clearly doesn’t have feelings and shouldn’t speak out their thoughts when they’re being mistreated. It is also clearly a place that has a culture that promotes not admitting to doing anything wrong and never apologizing, and that offering additional days free makes up for it.
