This took me over mileage and the location had eway exits closed. Considering this was the location I gave my preferred drop off location to I cannot recommend them.

She lacks a welcoming attitude. The equipment was clean and the location was convenient, but the service needs lots of improvement. The young lady that cleans out the vehicles upon return was pleasant.

Me being a brand new customer assumed that based on the size truck that I rented. I would have the same size storage space. Well the storage was ridiculously smaller. When I told the manager she was rude and wouldn't accommodate me. In fact she told me they only had the most expensive space available in the facility $175 a month. It was nothing I could do but pay because we had unloaded all of the belongings. I went from having the smallest space to the largest because UHAUL didn't base my storage space according to the size of my Uhaul truck. It was a disaster and the Manager was as well. She had an attitude and took advantage of this inconvenient situation. I would NEVER recommend you guys whether it's to rent a truck or storage. Never book over the phone but go to the facility in person. HORRIBLE!!!! I'm hoping that I can remove my belongings from storage ASAP!!!!!

I had to call the customer service line to get a resolution. Upon the return of the truck she spoke at me rather than asking a question. She in turn got in the truck and pulled off, put the truck in reverse. I at that time I was going to be hit by a 20 truck. I had to ask the other employee was she going to hit me. I truly am unhappy with the experience that I received at this location.
SCHVONNE JReserved a 9’ van online was told they only had 10’ when I got there. Driving up to the place seen plenty of 9’ vans even if they were all reserved there was more then plenty in. Kinda annoying

NATASHA RThe area where my storage was located was on the ground floor, it was very smelly and dark. There should have been extra lights on the ground floor, and I could hardly contain the smell. There were mice running around overhead, and they got into my items and ate through some things so I had to throw a lot of stuff away. I feel that the establishment should have done a much better job cleaning the ground floor, and tried to get rid of the mice. I have been to many other storage facilities and I've never been to one that was so nasty, smelly and unkept. It doesn't seen as if the owners or management even care. As far as the staff, I only had issues with management who was rude and uncaring about customers; the other staff were very friendly. And as far as the hours, there was a time that I tried to go into my storage facility after hours and I wasn't able to get in. But this was the worst storage company that I have ever been to, and I definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone, and I wouldn't ever want to go to Uhaul cause there's plenty other storage companies that people can go to.

Vita LAyanna Howard the store Manager has to be the worst hire in all of America. Her crass, rude way of handling customers is the worst experience I've ever had. She doesn't listen to understand, only to respond. She filed a bogus charge to my account for a truck rental with damage already on it and blamed us, she then said she'd wave it only for a month later I received a damage claim. She lied, she was rude to me on a number of occasions, she either needs to be fired or demoted. She is HORRIBLE.

SJOMO HThe manager of that facility was very ignorant and rude to customers. She always had an attitude and would argue with customers. She had no respect at all for customers. I had multiple units at 3 U-Haul location since 2009, and this was the worst of them. I was at this location since 2019, and initially had 3 unit's. Due to medical issues I could move out immediately but with the help of some ex co workers I finally got everything out of there. I would never recommend this location, no it was clean, there is a huge rodent issue in that location. The few employees that were helpful ended up leaving because of the treatment from management. I know that to be true because they work for my company now. I didn't want them to leave a job because of pour management. This manager has had numerous complaints brought against here and nothing was done or looked in too. For those reasons alone I wouldn't refer U-Haul to anyone.

Other rental equipment companies (Home Depot) have scanning devices that scan your driver's license. Why is it that you have a land line phone but not a company issued cell phone that can do this process? Silly.

Leah CA better process to to checking in to picking up the truck. I ordered online and should have not have to take 20 extra minutes to get my truck. Tell customers about all the hidden fees. I went from paying 19.99 to 59.00 then y'all charged me almost $30 extra because I was 30 minutes late. That is ridiculous for 4 1/2 hours. It was disregarded that I actually got my truck after the time because of the hassle and no good instructions of picking up the truck. Y'all had me send pictures of my i.d. only to redo it again once I got there. The only reason I even said I would recommend this location is because the ladies in there was nice. But the company is horrible and definitely a rip off.

On the second truck, the power steering was off, brakes were shot and the door wouldn’t close without slamming it. Please do better. Returning the truck with the general manager was pleasant and the location is convenient, which is why I rated it 2 starts instead of 1.

She said the lock would be inside the unit ,which it wasn't ,and that I could come to the office and pick it up . Me being a senior, I asked her if she could have the young man bring it back to me. She told me he couldn't because he was busy cleaning the trucks out; so they thought it was more important to clean the truck out then to provide service to the customer. Thirdly, this morning, when I went to return the truck, the young lady was quite unprofessional. Yesterday they started the rental process at 10:59. We weren't done until almost 12 pm because they couldn't get the rental correct on the system. And they had to start over again. The young lady called this morning and said that she would give me till 12 o'clock. I arrived at 11:15 and had to wait while she found someone an alternate rental on 76 and Vincennes. And then she proceeded to charge for a second day when I had brought it back on time and she was quite rude and unprofessional.

When I came to clean out the storage I was a day late and had to pay for a full month to get my items. She then states that “well in the notes it says something different”. Then when I came back to take the lock off they changed my code from 06215 to 02215. So I couldn’t get in until I sat there waiting for the manager. I had Ayana to change it to my own code in the system. These are vindictive and untrustworthy “ladies” working at this facility. I will never use U-Haul storage again or suggest you to anyone.

This was a stark contrast to how I was treated when I initially signed in. As I completed my move out transaction, the workers were rude and dismissive. ( customer receipt number 757037-108584-238672) While completing my move, my husband and I noticed that we needed something to tie down our load. I asked the workers if they sold bungee cords, he said they didn't have any. I found some and gave it to him to purchase. ( Contract No. 98566535) Then noticed that I didn't need the cords, so I took it back. When I explained that I didn't need it any more, he said they need to tax me on the return. I asked him where was that written and that there was no policy that indicated that. He picked up the return policy card and slammed it on the counter. Then said, "the policy is here!" He picked it up again, turned it around, and slammed it down again, saying, it's on both sides. I said that there was nothing stating that I would be taxed and it will be more than the regular tax. I asked him why would I be taxed again for returning items. He smuggly said, " we can tax however much we want. " And left me standing there to assist another customer. I left feeling disappointed, disrespected, and felt extremely used by your company.

I had lots of pictures in the unit of ALL MY FAMILY HISTORY. My mom died as I am only child lost everything. I talked to Ayana Howard December 13,2022 try to make a payment of $300 for that was ALL I HAD AT THE TIME. The bill was $600she told me that I could not pay partial payment must pay whole and I did not have it then. I received late notice email 1/12/23 and then sold notice 1/13/23. NO EMAIL OF FUTURE SALE OR AUCTION. I called 1/14/23 and was told by Ayana Howard nothing I can do I was warned, which I was not. I called corporate and was told that corporate DO NOT FORCE CUSTOMER TO PAY FULL AMOUNT AT THAT TIME. INFORMED THAT CORPORATE DOES TAKE PARTIAL PAYMENTS TO AVOID AUCTION. Ayana Howard has lied to me over and over saying it was not her on the phone when I kept calling the location to speak to manager. When she called me back a week and half later I recognized her voice which was the same voice I spoke to every day saying manager not here. Please help I just wanted keep pay off the storage to get my valuables pictures most definitely.

We had nowhere to store her belonging they auctioned her things for $9.00 which made us feel like we lost our mom all over again. This really hurts!

I am definitely confused on how my card that I made the reservation with was charged 7. 95. I was told when I made the reservation that my card would not be charged. Also, my mothers card was charged for damages, 68.00 for damages that I did not cause. I don't think that's cool. I didn't get a chance to upload my own photos which I did take BEFORE we even took off with the van. I will keep my storage there, but definitely don't understand how both cards were charged.

My mattresses, clothes, rugs, shoes and much much more were full of RAT DROPPINGS and URINE Had to sweep out my own unit out which was very hazardous and it amounted to a pile knee high of dropping and on top of that to have Ayana Howard which is the manager that have THEE WORST ATTITUDE & THEE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE a Facility could ever have, complaints were written millions of times and nothing was done Ayana Howard must of came with the bricks on the building or U-Haul is in need of disparate help! Proven fact....I let my unit go due to the droppings which had nice things in there mind you and it all could be replaced mind you again!!! But yet and still the unit was only sold for $25 so go figure!!!! PS....Nasty as Ayana Howard was I wouldn’t doubt it if she brought the unit for herself! RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!

Additionally, my storage unit had lots of sheet work and ceiling/construction dust and residue. There looks like construction has been taking place on the ceiling and was never fully repaired. I also feel that you should all enforce making your employees wear mask during covid. The manager on duty wasn't wearing a mask while assisting me. Your employees at this location could also be more professional. When you walk in they are playing around and take all day in order to ask what you need. It's a job not a social club. Thanks.

Additionally, when I came back into my storage facility in order to move there was sheet rock or ceiling particles everywhere. It looked as though they were doing some ceiling work in that area but didn't take the time to protect clients items. I look up and their were roofing pieces hanging out. My last issue is that one of the women at the front desk- I believe the manager, didn't have on a mask. Covid is still a real threat.

I only stored heavy furniture and a few bags of clothing nothing and I repeat nothing was perishable. And upon unpacking I had rodent dropping all throughout my boxes and pictures being bitten by rats mice’s ect . This was not what I anticipated for storing my belongings at a time I really needed too. Very upset !!!!
