Have the equipment that was reserved several weeks in advance ready for pick up time. Have better customer service staff at the front desk, and notify paying customers that are traveling from out of the area or any customer for that matter if the vehicle or equipment isn’t ready as requested in the reservation.

All persons at that store should get a raise for how they helped me out today. I can't thank them enough, the gentleman who covered the store today and the Manager help me to accomplish a great experience trying to move into a new place which can be daunting. Hats off to the both of them.

I got scammed by uhaul. They made me go like 20 miles farther than the closest uhaul place and then had me drop it off further away for a "deal" and then charge me for the extra mileage

We did not go to this location as the truck we were given broke down due to mechanical failure and we were stranded on side of road for 5 hours in pouring rain with no food or water or bathroom truck was towed to our home so we never got to drop off at our daughter

When I rented the vehicle, the requested equipment (appliance dolly & furniture pads) was not present. When I extended the rental the charge applied again. I addressed with the staff when I returned the vehicle. I believe the items were removed from the bill. Regardless of the items being removed, they were needed and not supplied. More care should have taken into consideration due to the fact that the request was for 2 hours prior to an employee coming to work. These missing items made moving and protecting several items extremely difficult. Additionally, when the vehicle was returned, the employee checked the vehicle prior to my departure. He stated that the gas tank was "not quite there", then informed me that I would be charged an additional $11.25. There are no specific indicators on the fuel meter. It is full 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, and E. How am I or any customer supposed to gauge the meter to the fill up point based on the markings. Now, if I were to fill the tank more, would I receive a credit of the additional gas that I provided? If you were to provide truck with a full tank of gas, then it would have to be returned full. This is another way for employees to try to "upsell" with out the hassle of doing it with products in the store.

I found my on-line experience to be extraordinarily frustrating. I spent almost 3 hours attempting to first navigate the website & then the uhaul app. It was a total waste of time. I ended up calling the 800 number to obtain a storage unit. The rep I spoke to was helpful & polite. I thought he got me all squared away with my rental unit but when I went to the facility there was more to be done. The woman at the facility was the store manager, I believe. She was polite & efficient, or as efficient as possible, given that the process itself is not efficient. Luckily for UHAUL, you've hired good people to compensate for the other glitches. Thank you to the customer service representative & the store manager of the Cinnaminson, NJ location for their assistance. ~Wendy Sanders

The people were always very easy to work with. Only feedback I really have is we would have preferred to have either more cards (at least 2) or code/card option. It was very inconvenient to have to share a card. Otherwise - we had no issues.

The latch on the outside of my storage unit had a screw missing the entire time, and it was never fixed. I also found bird feathers on the inside of my unit, which means there are holes in the roof. The worst part was that the price kept going up and up with no end in sight. The one things I did appreciate was the one month free because I had rented a uhaul truck w/ in the past year.

We needed temporary storage for items that were salvaged from a flooded basement. It was very convenient to be able to rent a truck and storage all in one place. The store personnel were helpful in determining what size storage we needed. When our daughter was in college, we also rented vans or trucks from this same location. It’s conveniently located less than 2 miles from our home. We’ve only had good interactions at this location - no complaints.

I believe she was the manager, white woman, late 30’s or early 40’s tried to pressure me into purchasing the insurance even though I had renters insurance which covers personal property(10% extended off premises) and liability coverage. She repeatedly told me that renters insurance doesn’t cover it and that I needed homeowners insurance. I’m an insurance agent so I called her out on it. She finally gave in but told me that uhaul would contact me at a later date to force their insurance on me. Obviously they never did, because it wasn’t true. I get pressure sales to hit goals and make money, but once you flat out lie it’s crossing the line. Unfortunately now that I no longer need the storage unit, I won’t return to uhaul as a customer because of this experience.

the storage unit itself was fine, but when I signed my agreement it was not made aware to me that the price would increase a couple of times a year. I got letters saying the cost was going up but it always said it was being increased to the original price I paid; I never knew what the new price was until it was taken out of my bank account.

They made a stressful situation for me so much easier… This was at the Cinnaminson location on route 130… I rented storage space and called shortly after and rented a van… February 14 between 930 and 10 o’clock in the morning I believe the managers name was David… He was absolutely wonderful

I was told the storage unit was able to be accessed from 5am-10pm. I went at 9pm to unload the truck; however, the gate access key fob I was given did not work. I then proceeded to call the after hours number listed on the gate. No one answered nor did they call me back. This is the second time in one week (different location) where I’ve had an issue with Uhaul. I thought switching locations would help, but it didn’t. I’m very dissatisfied.

Susan was not friendly or pleasant at all. The couple times I had a conversation with her, she didn't even want to speak. Customer service was horrible. I spoke with her about the holes in the ceiling of unit 1203. It looks like animal scratches. No accommodation. So I withdrew and requested a refund. I will take my business elsewhere. Upset customer!!!!!

For the first 2 years i kept complaining that i could barely get into my unit because it was so difficult to roll the door up...3 times i went to the office or called the office from outside my unit to please come and open my door...all 3 times i waited over a half hours after i asked for someone to help...2 of those times i was berated and treated as if i was an obstinate child (I'm 66 and was very respectful) the 3rd time after they couldn't get the door open they told me they would make an appointment for it to get fixed...they neglected to tell me i would need to be there and i was to call later to see when. A repair person was available...so 2 months later i went to the office and was told i needed to be there. Finally a repair person showed up and asked me how long my door was this bad..i replied since i moved in...he was a new repair person,who was unbelievably nice,sweet and talented (so unlike 2 other U-Haul employees)and fixed my door in 35 minutes...he was appalled that i dealt with this for over 2 years...i was previously told this is how these doors are, you need some elbow grease...I'm disabled and have limited use of my "elbows" ...however after the door was fixed i could open it all by myself...so over the years i had 2 UHaul employees and mr fix-it who was wonderful...all the others shouldn't have a costumer oriented job...other then coming to place stuff into the unit or emptying the unit i probably only visited the unit 20 times in the years that i had it...so i don't think this UHaul faired well as a customer oriented business who's employees are told to be respectful of their long term customer's. ..
