The personnel that connected the trailer to my hitch did not connect the emergency brake cable correctly. The employee put the hook around the spring loaded keeper of one of the tow cable hooks rather than to my truck frame, a setup for a disaster. I was in a bit of a hurry so I connected it to the safety chain loop on the hitch myself. I been towing for years and know what to look for when I set up a trailer. I usually don’t question the U Haul employees because they are who I ask for advice, glad I did a thorough check before driving away. A less experienced person may not have noticed and trusted “the experts”.

You will never get another dollar again from me. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with U-Haul over the years and you’re rude uncaring don’t give a shit about your customer attitude. I reserve a trailer for a week ahead of time put a deposit on it and then nine hours before I’m supposed to pick it up you want me to go two hours south to pick up the trailer when I’m going north And the woman I spoke with from U-Haul. Tampa could give two shits and she was more than happy to cancel my order and not help me at all. I bought a house in Florida. I’m going to be going back down and guess what Hertz Penske it is. I hope that you fucking choke on that last money you got for me because you’ll never get another dime.

ROGER DWe pulled in to drop the trailer and the place wasn’t clearly marked for an entrance. A big building with many doors but no markings. We started to unhook when a guy said don’t drop it there. My wife asked where and he said around the corner. She asked for clarification and the guy rolled his eyes and marched to show her. Mind you these trailers can be moved by hand which is what the excellent guy in Daytona did. This guy was just an asshole like we were disrupting his lunch. We couldn’t get away fast enough.

JUAN SI rented 5×8 trailer, piece of inside trim laying on floor, I reattached. Ciip on hitch was hanging by one rivet of four, I reattached before leaving on trip to N.Y. I did not mind doing this, but should have been done at pickup center. Tires were new, I appreciated that.

DAIFORD HThe person who was at the return area where you drop off your rental was not nice at all. I dropped Off the 4’ x 8’ trailer (UV5732C) With the 6-pack of blankets that I also rented. And I ask this person to check out the trailer and see the blankets that I had rented and was returning on May 3 2025 All this Person would say is just Mumble Mumble I could not understand a word he said. So I went in side to get a receipt for turning in the trailer and Blankets. And they said with a very Sarcastic response well E mail it to you. And I got the E mail 5 days later, it is printed with very small letters that you have to use a magnifying glass to read it . And it doesn’t say nothing about the returned Blankets at all . Not a good way to run a business.

EFREN LU-Haul Moving & Storage of Daytona Beach700 W International Speedway Blvd Daytona Beach, FL 32114 Unfortunately, the location Manager (Jennifer) did not meet the customer service I have come accustomed to in the past at U-Haul. Jennifer was very unprofessional, inexperienced, and lacked patience when engaging with customers. I was in line being serviced by another agent at the location. He did an excellent job; however, Jennifer was not helpful when I asked for elaboration of the U-Haul Insurance Program. She simply came over and pointed at the counter...telling me to read the details (which I already did). She was also disrespectful to another customer at the next check-in register. A "manager” was requested and Jennifer stated she was the manager and in charge. When asked who could be contacted above her, she simply "flicked" her name badge which included her name and “OWNER.” I always encourage ambitious young people to aspire for success. Nevertheless, Jennifer needs additional training in Managing Conflict, Emotional Intelligence, and Leadership. Being transparent, I was close to calling the U-Haul Customer Service Number before leaving to report my concerns, but my schedule would not allow. My rental was successfully returned to another location. Jennifer should be trained/coached on respect, courtesy, and her listening skills. She is the face of the U-Haul organization and should conduct herself in this manner.

LOUIS RI rented the truck for one day. I returned it the same day and the man who was checking the truck in said, I’m leaving for the day and they will e mail an invoice tomorrow. I thought it was strange as it only takes a minute to check it in. I now see you billed me for 2 days which is bullshit. Please have someone call me tomorrow to settle this. 908 246 5167

JAMES OThis rental was probably the 4th for me from this location. Each experience was super smooth, and knowledgeable staff helped a great deal. I really appreciate how many of the staff stepped up to help me get into a vehicle or use a trailer that was ready to go. For instance, one trailer assigned to me was buried in a line about four trailers deep. So, the staff quickly changed the trailer to the first one in line, hooked it up and I was rolling a few minutes later.

Meagan YOriginally reserved trailer at Money Family Tree, a licensed U-Haul Dealer at 1757 N Nova Rd #107J, Holly Hill, FL 32117 for pickup on Sunday at 7P. When I arrived, no one was there. Business was dark and locked. Multiple phone numbers on the window were disconnected or had vmail. Had to scramble to figure out another way to get a trailer for a departure the following morning. I will never use a dealer again! The U-Haul Center on ISB was great! Quick and friendly service.

I was initially charged $220 And when I return the truck just under 20hrs I was automatically billed $500+ for mileage? I think you guys can treat your customers better than this.

CANDICE GI used a 6x12 trailer to move my belongings, and some of the floor got wet after experiencing rain on the journey. The trailer floor was wet near the front and near the back. The boxes in those location had wet or damp bottoms. I asked the return person about a partial credit for the damage incurred and also for returning the trailer a day early, but none was offered.

I was referred the very FRIST time with courtesy complementary from U-Haul during the hurricane Milton. They were so friendly and helpful. With my other storage closed due to the hurricane very early . And I rented a U-Haul van . And I had to keep your ba. Over nite . But your U-Haul company SAVE ME 😀. And I will NEVER . Forget that . EDISON H2x rented trucks from this location .1st time was charged 1x day more because they were short staffed and had me park the truck and said they would get to it. Sure. They did eventually remove the charge when I saw the additional day fee. 2nd was a 1 way move where the truck after loaded broke down dead battery. So I used my personal jump pack. On the way to destination blinkers didn't work gas gauge was not correct and when I stopped for gas ....Dead battery again. I had to jump again this delay caused us to miss our appointment for key pick up causing us to wait till next morning to meet realtor. Overall the Daytona International Speedway not good... I understand high volume however it's Uhaul this is your business rentals and returns.

I’m not happy with the way they handled that, also work with people on the gas you charge 4.50$ for gas that u have to pay for but if the gas is over I loose my gas ? That’s crazy as well.
