Overcharged my credit to $200. After I selected the $19 truck. Waiting for refund after 3 days. Advice to renter: give cash payments instead of credit cards. U-haul charges with out consulting customer. The only person who can return monies to client is the manager. Ridiculous. I would not use again.

Wait time was 10 mins picking up and 15 mins dropping vehicle. Could use more staff and more parking for ride-givers, only 3 customer parking spots.

My only comment would be to clear the middle of the office area of boxes. They should be off to one side so customers can come in the door and get to the desk without walking around boxes and equipment to get to the desk. It was a maze and confusing.

On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, I rented a small moving truck. We moved my wife's cherished 1960's mid century modern table and chairs with a leaf that was part of the table as well as other furniture. We had put a new floor in our home we were moving to so before I took the furniture in to the home we put felt pads on the bottoms to protect the floors. My wife was at the other house packing boxes and I took the last load to our new home. I had placed the leaf to her dining room table in the chairs but when I arrived and started placing the pads on the bottoms of the chairs I moved the leaf to the table up on the shelf in the back of the truck to prevent it from getting scratched. This was at the end of the day and I was exhausted from moving all day. I locked up the truck and stopped to put gas in it, contacted my wife to pick me up and returned the truck to U-Haul. The next day we were back at it packing and unpacking boxes. Later that night (11/02/17) my wife said we needed to get the leaf to the table the following day. I immediately hung my head because I instantly knew my worst fears were realized and the leaf was no where in our home but I had inadvertently left it on the truck. I contacted U-Haul via phone but it was late and they took a message to send to the correct office. I did not sleep that night and at 6:00 am I was up dressed and praying as I went out the door that the leaf was still in the lost and found at U-Haul. I contacted them via telephone as I was driving and the woman informed me that she would check and get back to me. I told her I was 5 minutes out and I would be right there. She had an irate customer and when she radioed the guy who was cleaning the trucks he didn't understand what she was looking for so the woman sent my husband to the back to speak to the employee cleaning out the trucks. The truck had not been rented out only cleaned out. As my husband walks back the employee said to him "Is this it?" as he reached into the DUMPSTER and pulled it out. The leaf is a finished piece of wood that has dowels that fit snuggly into our dining room table. It's obvious that it is part of a piece of furniture so WHY would they put it in the dumpster??? It gets better because as the guy asks "Is this it?" and he's pulling it out of the dumpster it is SNAPPED into 2 pieces right down the middle like someone had kicked it and split it into. It WAS NOT dropped because there are no scratches, dings, or damage to the sides... NOPE it's just split in to 2 pieces. The first words out of the guy's mouth was I didn't do it..... he was the only one back there so unless someone else was working and emptied that truck then he did it. I cursed at him because I was furious and at a loss for words and my wife was devastated our table is ruined. We are a family of 6 and a family of 12 during the holidays so we NEED the leaf for our table to be bigger. What are we supposed to do now? I cannot go to Haynes Furniture or Way

On the Cleveland, TN side, the clerk couldn't be bothered with me. I had to wait while he waited on about 8 customers in his market store, even though they came in after he started waiting on me. Then, I had to go out and disconnect the trailer and put it away. He never inspected, or did anything. Thought it strange since everything was done on the other end.

We were told at our rental location we could return our rental to any of the three locations in Vero Beach. The return location was clearly not used to customers deciding to use them to return their rental. The people were upset with ME because I was not on their list of returns for the day. It took several phone calls, and 20 mins of my day, to convince the store in Vero that I could in fact return my rental with them.

when I reserved 2 furniture dollies, and a reg. dollie to move with, I reserved them 10 days ahead of scheduled move. When I went to pick up the 10 ft truck, I waited aprox. 20min to be waited on. there was only one person on the register. I did not get the 2 furniture dollies as I had reserved. I was very dissappointed. they tried to sell me sub standard moving things instead. I also had trouble finding a parking space for my car while being waited on. the waiting line was aproximately 15 folks long waiting after me. needs to have more equiipment like furniture dollies to rent out, and more cashiers on a saturday .
