Staff was excellent. 20 ft uhaul was not in great shape. However, on the 2nd day of my rental I was able to switch it out for a different truck.

Katie BUpon arrival in showroom, I waited a few minutes before an acknowledgement or there was any "Hello, how may we help you". After advising the agent of drop off location and address it still wasn't put in contract correctly or agreed upon, the agent did absolutely nothing to make this a "Good moving experience", No offer of any extras needed for the trip weather I needed them or not. I was a U-haul employee for many years in the late 80`s & 90`s, started from ground up to Management, I realize the company has changed but the Work ethics on some have just gone down the tube worse, I have rented from this location on numerous times and mostly a good experience but this one was most Disappointing. The truck had brake issue and some type of oil leak, and only achieved about 5 miles to the gallon and truck was not fully loaded? I returned the unit with more fuel than received with and there was no credit for that? All in all NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

REINALDO CSaturday of 8 2025, I went to U-Haul located in the international speedway, Daytona. A Caucasian woman was in charge. I gave her my info and rented a truck. To start with, she informed that the car had under a quarter of gas, and I should bring it in the same level to receive the credit for the gas. In the car, the gas was in the E, empty. I start not feeling well and I can attach here the medical diagnosis. Since I was driving very close to the U-Haul along the International speedway, I drove the car. I came back before 7 pm, the time that they close on Saturday. The. Woman was there. I told her that I was rushing to the emergency room. I was in pain due to an UTI. I informed that I had a few things to get out from the truck. She told me to drive to my car, unload, and bring back the truck to sign out. A few minutes later, when I brought the truck back, she ha d closed all doors. I knocked in the front and she came yelling, but really yelling as if she were my master. “ you have to check out by yourself or come tomorrow and pay $20 more”. I tried to appeal for humanity. She has none. I told her that I had an awful headache, I was to the point to vomit, and that I was all urinated. I could not do it by myself. She yelle that that was my problem, not hers. I sat in the back of the track, in pain, crying, totally hopelessly. Then, I saw her and another man leaving the place in a car. I was calling the police to ask for help. In that moment, she came to me, pulled my cell phone from my hand, called dumb, yelled me that I was not getting any credit back. After 2 minutes she told me to leave because she had checked out my truck. YOU CANOOT HAVE PEOPLELIKE THAT WORKING ON YOUR LOTS. I DEMAND AN APOLOGY. I AM STILL VERY SICK AND NAUSEATED OF THAT WOMAN’s behavior. Awful, awful, awful.

ALEXIUS E | Overall ExperienceI had an issue originally with my pickup. It wasn't ready and I had to reschedule for a different weekend which was not easy, because I live 4 hours' drive away. The store manager, Branden, was AWEFUL!! He was rude and disrespectful and hung up on me. I had to escalate my problem to Tyler, the District Manager. Tyler was kind, respectful, understanding and VERY helpful! He promised that if I went back to this store, I would be well taken care of - and I was. Lori, the service person who directly helped me with the rental in the store, was also very kind and respectful. In fact, the entire team at the store during my visit, and their service was excellent! They helped to restore my faith in U-Haul and the reputation for good service that I have come to expect at all U-Haul stores!
KIMBERLEY WI was very pleased with the office staff that checked me in...professional and efficent I found the employee that hooked the trailer to my vehicle to be a bit cavalier when I pointed out the running lights on the passenger side were out. He gave a flip reply that they only care about the brake and directional. All lights should have been operational.
Jonathan KYou should definitely check your doors and make sure they're greased better though it was very hard to open and close the rear door. Also the check-in process was quite lengthy you should give the opportunity to start that before you get here.

GARY GTrailer was not balanced well and had a horrible wobble when being towed. Very disappointing
CHRISTOPHER JTechnician drove my car in to the bay for installation. Service took 5 hours. When informed installation was done, I tried to drive car out of bay but the rear tire was locked up and car was immobilized. Car couldn't be driven and shop was closing so they told me to leave and figure out how to get home by myself. Uhaul location is in a high crime area and they put me out on the street in the dark. This was Saturday and still no resolution to the issue Sunday night.

JAD MWe have rented many u-hauls over the last 5 years including uboxes but we have never been given a trailer with one totally bald tire and the other with a nail in it. This is dangerous and should NEVER have been given to anyone to take. You not only endangered us, but everyone on the road with us. We had to wait almost 2 hours off I95 (thank god we could get off) to have both tires fixed. We had to wait longer because even though I told road side assistance both tire they did not communicate that to the repair company. Thankful they had an extra tire with them and just needed to balance it (extra hour)
JAMES MThis is a very large regional Uhaul facility with what looked like hundreds of trucks and trailers parked there and large maintenance facilities. It was however confusing to find the drop-off location within this large complex--I need to park, go into the customer area, get directions, then move the truck to the drop-off zone. Overall, the drop off went very well and was quick once I found the right place. So, overall positive experience. They just need some signage that indicates where to go.
HENRY MUsing the U-Box in general was a great experience. We got our stuff here in a timely manner and it was easy to stay within the weight limit to put everything we needed to in there. It got there earlier than anticipated which is great but also we would’ve sent it out later had we known it would be that quick. They did bring it on the days that you schedule but would send you a time estimate and not stick to it at all. We were also charged a pickup fee which was not communicated in advance which was a bit upsetting. Overall good experience.
Kiley LWhen we went to pick up our rental, the UHaul checkout system was "down". We were under a time crunch & the office staff responded by processing our checkout manually, We were out the door on time in a very clean truck. The staff's efforts were very much appreciated.

She had a line of people behind us and she helped us all with a friendly attitude and a smile! You don’t find employee like Lori very often. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.
