When I went to drop off my 26’ truck, a worker who was helping a customer with a tow dolly. Pretty much asked me to back the truck into the major road because they didn’t have the customer before me pull up far enough. Even though there was a couple of hundred feet available to. After I parked my truck I walked past two workers who knew I was returning the equipment. They let me go by without telling me they were the ones who I return the truck to. These two seemed like they didn’t want to be there and their customer service was horrible. I rented a truck from the U-haul in Ormond Beach and will use them from now on.

I had a moving company scheduled for Sunday that never showed up. At the last minute, I had no other choice but to rent a U-Haul and scramble to pull together friends so I wouldn’t lose an entire weekend. I was grateful that I was able to rent a U-Haul truck at the last minute. However, the issues that followed made an already stressful situation significantly worse. I live upstairs in a very old, 100+-year-old home, and I specifically paid for a furniture dolly because it was absolutely necessary to move heavy furniture safely up and down stairs. When we opened the truck, there was no dolly. Despite the fact that this was equipment I paid for and fully relied on, the only resolution offered—both through online chat and over the phone—was a $7 refund. That response is unacceptable. This is not about $7. Because the dolly was missing, my move was significantly delayed, I lost an entire day, the people helping me were put under unnecessary physical strain, and multiple pieces of furniture were damaged. All of this was the direct result of negligence—someone failed to ensure that the equipment I paid for was actually in the truck. What made this situation worse was the way customer service handled it. There was no empathy, no effort to resolve the issue, and no accountability. I was repeatedly told that “nothing else could be done,” as if this disruption were minor or somehow my responsibility. It was not. I paid for a service and did not receive it. A $7 refund does not remotely address the disruption, added stress, damage, and cost this caused. I expect a response from someone with the authority to properly address this failure and explain what will be done beyond a minimal refund. This experience was mishandled from start to finish, and I am extremely dissatisfied with how it was handled

Location was good. U Haul was bad rented truck in Port Orange close to home Day before I checked and found out Location was changed to Daytona far from home Got to Daytona no truck available only 15 or26 foot Waited on truck being returned for hour and fifteen minutes waste of time and money. Don't understand how you can take a reservation for truck and not have it available?

I was very disappointed to wake up to a low tire before my 14-hour trip. I added air to the tire before leaving at 5 AM, but the U-Haul also had no gas. Unfortunately, the tire ended up blowing out during my trip. Dealing with all of this throughout the trip added 4 hours to an already long journey. Other than all of that, everything was fine.

Upon checking in for the rental, I was sent the rental link via my phone, which I completed. The mileage was off by 17 miles. I did not notice this until I got 2 miles down the road and by then it was too late. I tried calling the location multiple times throughout the day and no answer. So, I was charged an extra $17 for no reason. I returned the truck around 9pm and dropped the key in the drop box, which I have always done before with no issue. I did not have my phone with my at drop off and I was not aware or told by the store that they had a new policy where you’re charged $20 if you don’t do the link at night drop, so once again I was charged an extra fee of $20. I called the store the following morning and spoke to the manager and explained all this. She was very unhelpful and unwilling to help me. In total, I was charged an extra $40 for nothing. I have used this location multiple times in the past and this is how you treat your loyal customers??? I will NEVER rent from here again!

The truck we rented was great. we had to wait 1 hour to fill the papers and show I D the internet was down so a lot was estimated. we were told to take pictures of the truck before leaving it we saw damages, and we had to take a picture of mileage and fuel and that took more of our time we told the person that we were going close 50 miles total but she put twice that and then had to change the mileage when we returned the truck . the improvements is, make sure the person at the desk is well trained and if not have someone there to help her I had a few questions she couldn't answer. But finally every thing is done , and I will use U-HAUL again Thank you

I cannot express strongly enough how impressed I was with the entire U-Box experience. Both the lady who picked up the box and the lady who dropped off the box were extremely kind and competent. I contacted central support at least two times, and the local offices twice, and each and every person I spoke with was professional and friendly. Even the online chat was excellent, and I used that twice. All scheduled events happened on time, and with excellent text-based updates. I kid you not when I say that I have already bought U-Haul stock after having found out that it is publicly traded. Having built and run a company myself, I know how much work and thought goes into creating a company culture that produces this kind of customer experience, and I can only assume that the management of U-Haul is exceptional. This was a stressful move for my mother into an assisted living apartment, and U-Haul made one large element of it into a positive experience. Thank you very much for that...

Upon arrival in showroom, I waited a few minutes before an acknowledgement or there was any "Hello, how may we help you". After advising the agent of drop off location and address it still wasn't put in contract correctly or agreed upon, the agent did absolutely nothing to make this a "Good moving experience", No offer of any extras needed for the trip weather I needed them or not. I was a U-haul employee for many years in the late 80`s & 90`s, started from ground up to Management, I realize the company has changed but the Work ethics on some have just gone down the tube worse, I have rented from this location on numerous times and mostly a good experience but this one was most Disappointing. The truck had brake issue and some type of oil leak, and only achieved about 5 miles to the gallon and truck was not fully loaded? I returned the unit with more fuel than received with and there was no credit for that? All in all NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Saturday of 8 2025, I went to U-Haul located in the international speedway, Daytona. A Caucasian woman was in charge. I gave her my info and rented a truck. To start with, she informed that the car had under a quarter of gas, and I should bring it in the same level to receive the credit for the gas. In the car, the gas was in the E, empty. I start not feeling well and I can attach here the medical diagnosis. Since I was driving very close to the U-Haul along the International speedway, I drove the car. I came back before 7 pm, the time that they close on Saturday. The. Woman was there. I told her that I was rushing to the emergency room. I was in pain due to an UTI. I informed that I had a few things to get out from the truck. She told me to drive to my car, unload, and bring back the truck to sign out. A few minutes later, when I brought the truck back, she ha d closed all doors. I knocked in the front and she came yelling, but really yelling as if she were my master. “ you have to check out by yourself or come tomorrow and pay $20 more”. I tried to appeal for humanity. She has none. I told her that I had an awful headache, I was to the point to vomit, and that I was all urinated. I could not do it by myself. She yelle that that was my problem, not hers. I sat in the back of the track, in pain, crying, totally hopelessly. Then, I saw her and another man leaving the place in a car. I was calling the police to ask for help. In that moment, she came to me, pulled my cell phone from my hand, called dumb, yelled me that I was not getting any credit back. After 2 minutes she told me to leave because she had checked out my truck. YOU CANOOT HAVE PEOPLELIKE THAT WORKING ON YOUR LOTS. I DEMAND AN APOLOGY. I AM STILL VERY SICK AND NAUSEATED OF THAT WOMAN’s behavior. Awful, awful, awful.

I love ❤️ my space and the location. And love how it’s so secured. When you have to have a card to enter . I was referred the very FRIST time with courtesy complementary from U-Haul during the hurricane Milton. They were so friendly and helpful. Easy process, affordable unit pricing with insurance for belongings available. Moving our stuff to storage was a simple process, although I wish Uhaul had more storage units at our Location Daytona Beach. It was a challenge to fit into the only unit left! I was given the truck 24 miles to go for empty. I returned it with more gas than I picked it up with. I was still charged an additional $30 for fuel. Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.

The gas mileage on the rental truck was wrong, I told them before I left and they said just use the app, I’m busy. Today they charged my bank account for November payment which over draft my account. Obviously I should not have been charged since this very survey says I left. I’m beyond unhappy and would like corporate to contact me.

When I called the facility to find out if I would be charged if I couldn't unload my Ubox on the specified date, the agent didn't know. I was able to change the unload date twice and was not charged.

I didn't go to the u-haul facility, everything was handled by phone, I had a U-Box not a moving truck, we packed it and U-haul shipped it. Few miscommunications but was able to resolve issues quickly.
