When I called to say we are returning our trailer rental after hours I was told I would be sent a link to your website for an after hours check out and instead I was sent a link for your App. We followed the instructions severals times from 2 different phones and the instructions DOESN’T WORK! Right side of van, tires, and wheel wells were muddy and windshield was dirty. Van came from Arizona. That said, my interactions with the owner were excellent. I have rented from this location previously and will continue to do so in the future. I have rented many trucks in my lifetime and this owner is definitely the most gracious.

Answers our questions thoroughly next time even if they are in our contract it comes out rude and disrespectful. Yes most of what is said is in the contract but even so answer our questions and next time make the words and writing bigger. No one is gonna read tiny words that are not fit properly on a full page.

The area above the cab inside the trailer leaks. We had some cardboard boxes there and they went in dry but came out wet. Fortunately they were not in the wet for long enough to do any damage but all the same, you might want to see about sealing it up. Someone else may not be so lucky.

While on the freeway coming from Fairfield, California, heading to San Jose California during a storm the driver side windshield wiper came off twice while I was driving in heavy rain and I almost died once it really sucks

I was asked for a secondary phone number when renting which is normal. What was NOT normal was the person at the counter telling me they needed to test the number to make sure it was valid with a call/text and taking a photo of the POS screen with his iPhone and then telling me this was normal. I’ve rented multiple times from this location and they’ve never done this which made me feel like this was discrimination and prejudice.

While I was there, I had a great experience overall, but I did encounter one issue with the light in my unit. I didn't even realize there were lights in the units until a neighbor turned theirs on one night, mine didn't work. I let the friendly maintenance staff know, and they came promptly to fix it, but it was burnt out and needed to be replaced. A few days later I received approval to move into my new home and moved out. If I ever need a storage unit in the future, I will be definitely be coming back here. I've also been recommending this storage location to my family and friends because it's affordable, open until 10 pm, well-maintained, and the premises are monitored 24/7 in the buildings. Plus, they have climate-controlled units available, which is a big plus!

The initial move-in storage part was a little wonky, having to obtain the storage unit number and access key card.. I walked over to the office and they were able to fix me up right away. Everyone was very helpful and it took no time as they fixed me up and got me on my way. Moving in was quick. The were carts available to assist us on our move.

I received a confirmation text and email stating that my unit was ready and a lock was inside the unit. However, upon arrival there was no lock inside the unit. If I had known, I would’ve brought my own lock to the unit.

I had a storage unit for about12 or 13 years everything was fine until 2 or 3 months before I got rid of my 2 units first they doubled billed me for one then they said they couldn't refund or transfer the payment then when I turned it in it was on the 5th of the month they said they couldn't prorated so I paid for 20 days on an empty unit then a month later when I turned in my other unit it was on the first of the month they said I had to pay for the whole month or it would be turned in to collections im 63 years old disabled have very little money I will never recommend uhaul to anyone I feel that after 12 or 13 years as a loyal customer it was a slap in the face they said it was corporate policy well shame on you uhaul.

When I made my reservation online, it was for a 5×5 unit and since I rented a Uhaul van at the same facility on January 31, 2021 I was supposed to get the 1st month rental for free. When I got to the facility at 1327 W Texas in Fairfield, I was told that there wasn't any 5×5 units and all they had was a 5×10 for $10 more a month and they hadn't heard about the 1st month free. I agreed to the larger unit and it worked out perfectly. 5×5 would have been too small. Thanks for the error. I will still be using Uhaul for any moving or storage needs.

I have used uhaul previously years ago. When moving back to California I used uhaul truck and storage. Was given a great deal when I used both. Staff have always been friendly and the storage site is always clean

Everything was great until I tried calling the 800 number to order a remote for the gate and left several messages but no one ever called me back. Every time I I called the 800 number I was transferred to a voicemail. It seemed no one knew how to direct me but yet there’s advertisements with the phone number regarding a remote for the gate posted all over the gate. No one at the local store could help me since it is no longer privately owned. The two people who run the store are absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The lady’s name is Neirman (sp?), and I forgot her husband’s name. Great people and very professional. I will miss them.

I believe I was overcharged Emma led to believe that I was paying on time. What a rip off. Very bad customer service also they lied about the storage place that I was renting it was supposed to be a smaller unit but I paid for a larger unit. U-Haul bad business practices I am usually a satisfied customer but I've been getting ripped off from U-Haul 4 years. Wish I did not have to use them but I do. That's why I think they do what they do. Because people have no other choice but to use their services
