natosha c | Overall ExperienceI had made the reservation for Ashley Street. The location was changed 2 days before the pick up date to what was described as a quick stop on N Davis Street. I was flying from out of state so when I got to Florida I drove by the location and it was basically someone's house with a BBQ out front in a sketchy neighborhood. There was one uhaul truck parked across the street in the grass by some railroad tracks. The morning at the reservation when I went to pick up the truck it was no longer there and when I went inside to ask about it it was a very dimly lit room with a rude man who I could not unstand and when u kept asking had happened to the reservation who said "are you retarted? Do you see a truck? Theres no truck here". The whole experience was very unnerving. Then when I called uhaul they said I could just pick up from the location I made the original reservation to anyway. So it was a waste of time even being sent to this new location and honestly no customer should be sent there as it is not a professional business.

She was helping me and another customer came in and she was attentive to both of and never skipped beat. She seen me on the camera I assumed and she came out the door to greet me. FRANCIS MIt strongly seemed like people were living there, based on how they constantly congregated at the entryway, going in and out and back and forth. They appeared to be homeless, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. On top of that, roaches were crawling all over my belongings before I even had the chance to fully move in. It was unsettling, and I couldn’t wait to get my things out of there. To make matters worse, no discount was offered for the inconvenience.
MATTHEW L | Overall ExperienceReserved a 15ft truck but when we arrived its tire had a golf ball size hole it in. The only other option was a 10ft truck or go to a different location but the other locations opened up later in the day and I couldn’t wait for that. I had to move early in the day. We had to use the 10ft truck which hardly fit our home items even after playing Tetris with everything. I was charged the price of a 10ft truck which is 10$ less than a 15ft but the inconvenience was not worth 10$. Not sure what could be done in the future but I definitely felt lacking and frustrated after the experience.

CLYDE BThe fact a paying customer can't access their things after the office closed is ridiculous. Most people work 1st or 2nd shift plus traffic can't always make it there by 7pm or 5pm. If I'm paying I feel I should have access to my things at least til 10pm. Then when the elevatorswas down and I couldn't access my things from the 6th floor. I was told I has to still be done by 7pm which casue a delay in my trip moving from fl to ga. I missed the office and had to pay to stay at a hotel for two day when in fact I had already paid 2500 to moving in my place. But I will say the manager Byran I think that's his name did come thru and save the day by giving me 3 extra days and paying the guys to move me from the 6th floor. But trying to find a truck and miscommunication from dec 31st until the day I got the truck and moved was a total headache

ANTHONY CI reserved a furniture dolly and a hand-truck dolly, but when I picked up the truck I was informed that neither was available. These items are critical for moving, and not having them available despite being reserved made for a horrible experience. Further, somehow my drop-off location was changed which I was not informed of and made for more inconvenience at the end of my move.

She shook her head and walked away from us, saying she doesn’t have time for this. It only went downhill from there. I wouldn’t even recommend this location to Xi Zing Ping or the Little Rocket Man. I’d vote for a Democrat before I went back.
MARK TThe only complaint that I have is that the inside back of the truck (which in the future I will check prior to leaving lot) was dirty and smelled like piss. So I had to clean it to get rid of the smell prior to loading the truck. However, the service I received was great, he was attentive and customer focused.
DESIDELIA MTerrible customer service. The employees are rude plus the van that I reserved was not available. Was given a bigger vehicle but the dashboard was black (not able to see speed etc. On dash in the dark) so vehicle was not available to drive at night. Bad bad experience overall

My wife was very upset by this lack. Corporate needs to do better!!!

The next day I could not start moving things back into the storage until I got off work at 6 and they told me that I had to be done by 7. With one more load to go I was told that I have would have to wait till the next day because the elevators would stop working and was lied to and told that there were no stairs. But what I find absolutely unacceptable is the fact that they only have one tiny little elevator that cannot accommodate a mattress or any size bed. As I was rushing to move all of my stuff into my storage the elevator kept stopping at every floor to pick up other traffic slowing down the time I had to move my stuff. An absolutely horrible horrible experience. Every other storage place even including other u-haul facilities have always had multiple industrial size elevators. I don't know who designed this place but it's a complete farce and a complete waste of my time and money. I could not be more disappointed.

Brian was really understanding of the situation and did give me a month free for the inconvenience. I would definitely use them again.

Access to the unit was no problem but I was really surprised that I couldn’t get into my Storage facility area after 8 PM. It would be nice if this location would allow some later hours for accessing my property. I should mention I wasn’t in this property very long for a week in one day however I wanted to come the night before I needed to clear it out and pack up the truck I had to wait until it open the next morning. There seems to be a lot of homeless people coming in and out of this location I’m not sure what the alternative is for these individuals. But the ease and thoughtfulness of the people that work at this location was paramount and very comforting to see
