DAVID OTHE U-HAUL APP SUCKS REALLY BAD!!! I needed a medium trailer in Phoenix but all I got was large trailers. However, everything else was great especially the Mesa AZ office on Broadway that helped me tow for the first time. Also major props to the Point Loma San Diego location for helping me unhitch 30 minutes after closing.

DALE HI was encouraged to get extra boxes via the buy back policy, but I was not told that the buy back policy does not apply when dropping off the UHaul after hours. Consequently, I left a completely unused batch of 20 medium boxes in the U-Haul with no buyback.
KEVIN Tmake sure when you release trailers/trucks to a customer that there has been an inspection!! I rented a motorcycle trailer hauling a $50,000 motorcycle in value... Before I left, I asked the attendee to check the tire inflation (psi).. IT WAS TERRIBLY OFF!! he definitely corrected it but if I didn't ask under the circumstances, it could have been a disastrous situation... Moral of the story is; CHECK ALL EQUIPMENT BEFORE IT'S RELEASED TO A CUSTOMER! You should have a "check list" implemented when customers drop off trucks and or trailers to make sure all equipment is in safe and sound condition to release it too the next customer... Very surprised UHAUL doesn't do that.... Over all, I have rented from that facility before several times and am very satisfied with their service and will utilize them and or UHAUL products again..
HANS DThe price of the rental was 100% more than the truck and transport I used to move out there less than a year ago. $2k there, 4K for the rental in Mesa. Nearly $500 in taxes was also ridiculous. Will always rent from a further area without excessive taxation. I will never recommend uhaul. For the price, i should have just rented a POD.

TIMOTHY UThe trailer was small, so no electric brakes, rusty, not particularly clean, the PAPER "license plate" fell off after the first hour on the road and we still had 2100 miles to go AND cost over $1600. probably should have purchased a trailer and sold it at the other end!! And yes, for the size and condition of the trailer that we had we could have found one to buy- we've done it in the past.

MICHAEL HI made my reservation at 2947 E Main St, Mesa for an appliance dolly and when I went to pick it on 3/6 they did not have one and had me go to a location out of my way and further from where I needed to use it! I had chose this location because it is right across the street from where I live! And I had some time commitments which I as not able to keep! It was very hard for me to understand that there would not be appliance Dollie’s at every location, especially since I reserved it at least a week in advance!
JOE HMaking sure the fuel gage is not overestimated and reflects the actual fuel the vehicle showes. I suggest adapt policy that rental car companies have. Full gas upon arrival then bring it in full gas otherwise be charged
JOHN SThe original location I scheduled my truck to be picked up at was a smoke shop at 515 S Country Club Dr in Mesa. They sucked balls and weren’t even open for business at 11am even though their sign said they opened at 10am. I guess they were too stoned. Fortunately Uhaul sent me to the Broadway location a block away and they were professional and took care of me.

STACEY HPersonnel not that familiar with the car dolly itself—had trouble with securing the car on the dolly but finally figured out how the ratchets worked.

MICHAEL SJust be mindful that a 3 hour rental will cost you over 100.00 bucks, for a 9’ van and 97 miles. And a 20’ truck for 114 miles will cost you over 250.00 bucks. All of which is a move that is in town.

GARY OI still haven’t heard back from manager. This was a very dangerous experience as your team member that hooked up the trailer to my truck did not hook it up correctly and the trailer came off my hitch, pulling onto the freeway. Call me 602-292-2504
JOSEPH DI had a 6:45 reservation. I pulled into the parking lot at 6:50 & they had already closed the doors and shut off the lights (closing time was 7). I had opted for the self check in (my first time using that) and did not realize it would take SO long to complete AND that it would require me to go inside and get the keys regardless. Had I known that, I would’ve gone straight inside. I go to the door at 6:59 and I am greeted at a side door by a gentleman who states “you need to call the 1-800 number.” To which I let him know, I just need the keys. I am met with “it’s more than just getting keys” - he failed to even ask me any questions and was going to just turn me away. I told him I already completed the online check in and it told me to just get the keys. A young lady pops out, looks at my phone and hands me the keys. The gentleman states as I walk away “maybe try to be on time next time.” I did not appreciate the snarky comment from him, as it was totally unnecessary and uncalled for. There was no reason for him to have handled that the way he did in all aspects of the interaction. Very very unpleased with his customer service!

Guy #1 said "its a mobile order, you don't need to come in here and walked away. we approached Guy #2 at the computer and he said he had only been here a year and didnt know how to use the mobile was willing to figure it out and was very helpful.
