WONICA WMake sure to do the job correctly, leave keys for customer to check in after hours like you told the customer you would do. Had to wait on employee to come back to work to check me in to give me uhal keys. She had a bad attitude because she upset that she had to come back to work after she closed. She was very rude to me and did not show me which truck I was renting. I asked which truck is it and the employees response is the numbers are on the keys and she walked out got in her SUV and left. Very rude very unprofessional service. Also the amount charged is more than the amount she quoted me.

PORTIA BMake sure that the equipment (utility dolly) is available at the center before renting it out. I was stuck with a appliance dolly that wasn't very helpful. I was only offered that when I checked and saw it wasn't in the truck. The operator wouldn't have said anything if I hadn't.
William Lthe truck was dented on the passenger side when i picked it up but other than that it was ok but shouldn’t u-haul have insurance to fix the truck???
ROSETTA MThe desk was inadequately staffed. The equipment should have been inspected and the customer assured that all was okay with the equipment and the terms and conditions of the contract. Being told to just leave it and walk away is a disconcerting experience. There was really nothing wrong with the pick up and drop off locations; rather, the deficient parts of this experience had to do with corporate practices, tools, processes, and policies. There has been a notable decrement of service since this past June when I rented a van and car hauler. Whatever y'all changed, change it back. The reliance on poor technology and the customer to do what the company is responsible for doing is a failed business model. Customers are PEOPLE, not widgets.

DOMINIQUE WThere’s only one important thing I would like to bring to your attention. While I was driving the vehicle I noticed there was roaches in the front cab. This was quite unusual because I’ve never seen them before while renting a van from U-Haul. You guys might want to spray these vehicles from time to time.

He answered all my concerns and took care of me, he told me if I had any problems with the equipment please contact them to let them know. He was there on my return and refunded the unused portion back to my card. Thank you very much you all for a nice associate that will one day run his own U-Haul store.

KENDRA JWe had ordered a a furniture dolly and stand dolly which the associate said they didn’t have them. We asked if there were any other locations we could grab them from and she said she didn’t know and was unwilling to help. We had to ask for the cost to be removed which I feel like she should have already planned to do given we didn’t receive the equipment requested.

John LThe Worker Had A Horrible Attitude She Was Outside Smoking When We Pulled In I Never Used U-Haul Before So I Had Questions That She Answer In A Smart Tone You Don’t Do That To Customers Now I Wont Come Back Again That Attitude Is Nasty She Looked At Me Crazy Because I Asked A Question As If Duh You Should Know Thats Horrible Customer Service Your On The Clock Outside Smoking And Mad Customers Came In If You Don’t Wanna Work Stay At Home

The piece of garbage was annoyed with me because I was annoyed with my reservation being moved to a location 20 mins away from my planned pickup. She had just gotten food and has the worst "resting bitch face". She didnt even have my furniture dolly... I searched the floor and found something that resembled a childs furniture dolly anyway. To hell with Birmingham

La'Shan WSabrina and the team that work at this location provided me with excellent customer service. Initially I was hesitant about using this location but I'm glad I did. Each time I needed to purchase packing supplies they were very helpful. I even rented a truck to move some things and the rental went very smoothly. I really appreciate the great service that I received!!!!

WILLIE RThey failed to give two wardrobe boxes that I purchased to the driver who picked up the truck. The back of the truck was covered in sand and plant debris. The engine in the truck isn't working right.
BENJAMIN WI was overcharged and I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for a truck that had no hand trucks. I was very disappointed. The truck I got was a smaller than I reserved. No accommodations were offered at all.

MOHAMED A | First ImpressionsI try to be very patient and understanding but the rental process from this location was honestly a bit of a mess. We did the online check-in process, our card was charged, and we were instructed to go in and show the screen to the attendant in order to get the keys. We went inside, where there were no lights on (at 10:00) and showed the attendant the online check in confirmation, hoping to just get the keys and head back to get started with our move. We waited inside of the dark building while they went out to clean the truck and when the attendant came back in he said that he had decided to issue us another truck because the one we were supposed to get was dirty. I let him know that he had already been charged for that truck and asked that he make sure that we would not be charged twice. We waited for over an hour to get the keys and I saw on my credit card statement after leaving that we had indeed been double charged. The attendants were nice enough but it was a strange experience. My husband called to get the double charge reimbursed but I’m still waiting for that to come through.

Josseph C | First ImpressionsI am very sadden I had a delinquent bill and it was paid in full by way of sponsorship 6xx.00 dollars. I kept getting the run around about the locks being cut off. I had a circular lock the unit was up for auction. The kept telling me a man in alley had the cutter. To make a long story short I was not working this was the reason for the sponsorship donation in the 1st place. We'll the bill grew again and it was up for auction again after ther would never cut my lock. On the 2 ND auction there was a technicality and could not auction the following month it sold and I lost everything. Simply because they would not cut my lock as they said they took there's off but did not cut the thebold lock they told me I was responsible for contacting a locksmith which I no is not true. When I called back they told me everything had been sold and picked up. This was very important things for my family. The integrity us this location is greatly questioned. I will never utilize them again I pray others have not been effected by this unprofessional experience. It's as if they saw the items. And went for it. Without following procedures.

Anthony H | Overall ExperienceThe only thing good about the Eastlake Uhaul were the employees that is all!!! The storage space was extremely too small and way too expensive and infested with mice. A storage unit 5 times larger than the largest storage Uhaul offers at Metro was about $80 cheaper. Mice and mice sh*t is EVERYWHERE! It’s so infested with mice the poor employees are stepping on the like bugs. Like I said the employees are very good to work with and Uhaul lucky to have such a good staff under the poor conditions they have to work those ladies deserve a Raise!!!

I was able to watch her do it. So I’ll be able to connect/disconnect the trailer on my own. But the unit my belongings were stored in was disgusting. Mice droppings ruined some of my things. I had to throw away some of my belongings while moving out. I’m pretty sure I’ll be throwing away more. Once I able to go through more.

I hate that it wasn't put in the system properly stating that I didn't use the unit for a full month. Other than that, everything was fine.

I had to be out of the house the next day and because i missed my movers, my family and i had to move our things ourselves. Customer Service said all they could do was extend the truck to 24 hours but because it was us moving our own things, we are still not done! Some of the staff are very careless, their customer service SUCKS! And to top it off, the uhaul is currently stuck in the mud SMH
ROSHUNYA W | First ImpressionsI was not pleased with the size of the unit. iIt was advertised as being larger but the actual space to be used is smaller. The explanation was given that the price reflected that. Had I known that I would have not rented. The manager is very professional and nice to deal with that was the reason I chose to rent after renting a trailer. When I arrived and found that the unit was misrepresented and not all the 6x8x6.5 area was useable, it was too late for me to switch. I requested a price accommodation from customer service and the store and was denied. I am not satisfied and I would like to discuss this matter with a resolution.
