The Uboxes were Late Arriving at the End Location and were Rescheduled 4 times before they finally arrived. Everything was Great until the Last portion of the Process. The Ball was Dropped and never quite recovered.

As I was unable to check into my reservation on line I tried calling the Um Hall reservation desk on Main st in Mesa. After numerous call with no response I was forced to drive to the location to confirm the availability of my truck as I needed to upgrade to a larger one. Although the two representatives were very cordial and customer friendly they could NOT advise me why they did not answer The phone. Not wanting to encounter any more issues I regretalfuly changed My pickup time an hour later when the office would be open. In addition, I arrived at 850 Sunday morning and found the two representatives cleaning vehicles and Expected to get my keys and leave as I hired theee men to help me with My home move. Rather than getting my Keys I was told they could NOT open Until 9 am. At the stroke of 9 the doors opened, after the usual checkin Paperwork was complete they were unable to find the keys to the truck I Was assigned. Finally, at 9:25 I was given a different truck. Mind you I Was paying three men $35 each per hour beginning at. 9 am to sit and wait for me to bringThe truck. I was not pleased with my U-Haul experience and would not recommend them To anyone. Due too my Unfortunate experience with U-Haul I would not recommend them to anyone.

The rep from U Haul walked us out to the car hauler and said here you go. No instructions or advice how to strap wheels in place, stow the ramps or lower the fender. We knew what to do but are concerned other customers would not. Strap on tight side was partially ripped. We did our own safety checks and had no problems.

Every person we dealt with at Uhaul has been great. Cameron and Alisha are names I remember from the phone and Brianna one of the drivers were all professional and very friendly. I recommend Uhaul and Uboxes to everyone

When I arrived in MN from AZ I was told the Mesa location didn't hook up the safety chains on my tow dolly which could have had a serious outcome. I trusted them to do it right since I didn't know how to load the tow dolly.

This was the absolute best experience I've had at U-Haul in years. Jennifer wa very helpful in advising what size truck I needed and helped me schedule U-Boxes for early May. Cameron was a delight to work with while picking up the truck. He was very personable and helped me up into the cab. I will definitely suggest this location (63rd St & Main) to family & friends. There was a small hole in the floor of the trailer that let in moisture. The trailer over all was showing lots of wear and tear, bumps and bruises. Don't get me wrong, the trailer was functional and did the job I wanted done. Thanks

The truck provided REALLY needed the windshield cleaned! Safety hazard!! Also, 3/8 of a tank of gas gets you nowhere in Phoenix! 3/4 or 7/8 would have been more appreciated. Other than those two minor irritants, the customer service was excellent, and the location was very clean and hospitable.

Something got messed up in the return and I was charged for and extra day even though I returned the unit 2 days early. Seems like the address printed on my paperwork and the address in UHaul system has a discrepancy.

Back in February I called and asked that the contents of my unit be sold. I had no where to put it and didn't much care. Due to a "management change", this was not done. Now they are coming to me with over $800 worth of fees.

When processing online, I think it should have been noted that the unit the only unit available was at the very back corner of the building with no access from the back. I went into the sales office and asked if there was other access instead of walking through the entire building. The person working on Sunday, August 4 was extremely unhelpful. I asked if a discount could be given since it is the very back corner unit. She just looked at me and said no with zero customer service. Once we took our first load all the way back to the back of the building in the far corner the free lock that was supposed to be provided was not in there. I had to walk all the way back out to the sales office went to the girl that was working told her there was no lock, and she just pointed with her finger And said you can just choose a lock. Very disappointed with the interaction with this employee. I have rented multiple storage units from U-Haul previously and have always received Excellent customer service. I plan on using this facility to store my belongings and then to use the moving service so I hope this isn’t an indication of the service we should expect.

The facility was clean overall, and the customer service I received on the last day of rental was exceptional. I don't know if the lady who helped me during the close out process is a manager at the location but she went above and beyond with her excellent customer service since I had encountered a poor service prior to my closeout date. Because of her and the cleanliness of the facility I will continue to conduct business with Uhaul and recommend their services to others👌.

The check in process wasn’t perfect. There was no manager and the gals didn’t know how to check me in from my reservation. They were both new and there wasn’t adequate training it seemed. Other than that, it was just perfect.

We started renting a space when the location opened. We've rarely encountered any really helpful or great employees. Most of the time, the staff has seemed bored or hard to find. We often have to wait at the counter for someone to come help us, which is odd because it's not like there have been trucks or other things to keep them busy. For storage, there are two sections. We've had a room in both. The new section is extremely inconvenient as there are no close ramps to the entrance to wheel up carts or dollies to move stuff. There are never any carts in that section, so anytime we wanted to move anything, we had to go to the older section to get a cart. Then it was hit or miss if the door was open because our code didn't work on that side. If it wasn't open, it was difficult to find staff around. This would cause a quick 5-10 min trip to last 30-45 minutes just waiting or looking for carts. Homeless has always been a problem, but the last year or so has been worse. Everytime I've gone there, there are numerous homeless people living out of their units. They especially like the rooms on the far end as I see them take turns going from the room to the empty field next to the location. Animals are frequently in and around the storage as well as they use they hog the carts so none are available. Lastly, the parking lot is a mess. It appears that there is some remodeling happening now and I hope that the parking lot is one of them. It's filled with pot holes uneven surfaces, so I hope that is something that will be addressed.

The door system is completely stupid. I could swipe the wrong side and get a Denied error and the door would still open. Plus having two different swiping kiosk on opposite sides of the door is just weird and confusing to most. Bathroom needs cleaned more often. Employees need more training in some areas. Other than that it is a good location and I would rent again. Need more trucks to rent too.

I rented at this location because it was climate controlled inside the units and was the only one available. What I liked about this Uhaul is that the manager, Kris is on site and is monitoring the area. The employees appear to be helpful. There is an apparent issue with some individuals that try to hang out there ( possibly homeless) and Kris addressed it while I was moving my belongings out. There are video cameras in their office, so the employees can see what is happening inside the large facility. The manager, Kris appears to be working hard to keep the location clean and secure.

This is without a doubt the best ever Uhaul in the entire state Karstin and Chris working two different locations have been caring and understanding to my needs . They show there genuine concern and sympathy for the hardship I am going through. Attention Uhaul these two are extant, it was like the wsy business was like back in the 70's & 80's. Agent at the store was nice but he was alone and overwhelmed. He didnt know how to use his software and he was trying to talk us out of renting there, claiming there is month long writing list. He also said there are a lot of security issues there. He took a phone call and didnt even tell us where to go and just let us wander around until we figured it out. The unit was filthy and sticky but he couldnt clean it bc he was the only one at the store.

Unfortunately, the online staff are not familiar with the availability of rooms as they tried to help me with reservations. I thought I had reserved two 10x10 x10 and they were not available when I arrived. The man on sight, Lupe, did everything to help accommodate me and he finally worked it out. He was all alone with many customers all interrupting one another but Lupe did a great job in spite of them. Lupe deserves a raise and/or a promotion. The facility is clean and very comfortable in the AZ heat. I believe my possessions are safely stored. Thank you!

Was unhappy, because when I called in to rent a truck, and get a Uhaul storage was told I got one month free for renting a truck,when I picked up the truck, again I was told I would get one month free. When I got to the storage, they told me no, they said I wasn’t long distance driver, and I needed a certificate, so I was charged for the month, was very unhappy cause I was lied to, but anyways I needed the storage.no big deal, I’m good

The bathroom was pretty dirty and didn't have any supplies. There was broken glass in front of a door other than that it was clean. The doors were hard to work with because they weren't automatic but I guess the facility is new and once that changes it will be better.

I moved my items to a Uhaul the same day and learned their climate controlled environment really was a joke and the hall had ac, but the unit was not climate controlled and was an oven with the walls and ceiling being aluminum. There was not a functioning light. My intuition told me to look for another Uhaul and I was referred to your location from a Uhaul in Gilbert. The same day I moved my belongings into the first Uhaul off of Lindsey and Main, I drove to your location and met with Lupe. Lupe was certain that there were not any available units, but saw how desperate I was to get my personal property out of a baking oven and into a true climate controlled environment. Lupe and Chris walked the entire structure and found one available unit. The black trim on the bottom of the door was stripped and the silver hinges were slightly broken, but I did not sweat that because I knew my items would be in a better facility at your location. I appreciated Lupe and Chris going over and beyond and physically walking the entire Uhaul facility to help me. I moved my stuff from Uhaul poorly ran to a Uhaul well ran, all in the same day. Lupe is a hard worker. I requested a bigger unit when one opens up as I understand Uhaul is adding additional units. I hope my reservation for that unit remains. Thank you for the great service.

The best storage facility by far! Convenient and easy access to storage. Climate control huge bonus with hot summers in Phoenix/Mesa area. Very clean and free use of carts and mattress carts as well a nice plus. On top of it, pricing was as low or lower than I could compare. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The only complaint I have is the issue of the carts. For the last several weeks the carts keep disappearing. When I first reserved my units there were 6. On average there have been as little as 2 carts available when there should be 6 and this is when no one other than myself is at facility. Maybe put a tracker on the cart to find where carts have gone or stolen.

The only thing that I didn't like was when I signed up for the unit it would have been nice to give me the option to pay the extra money to be able to access it 24hrs, which it was never even known to me until after my move was already done.

The worker was there 35 minutes before they were scheduled to open which was VERY helpful as I was ready to move in and I wouldn't have been able to yet if she wasn't there to help unlock the unit as well as the sliding doors, I didn't realize the unit was locked and started unloading my U-Haul truck and she was there just in time!

I put my stuff in a unit a week and a half ago. The employee said the system was down so they couldn’t sign me up with an agreement. They proceeded to take all my info down they would need to email me my contract but then proceeded to let me move my stuff into my unit. A week later, When i came back to get into my unit it had a second lock on it and i couldn’t get access to my unit. I went to the front office and they said i wasn’t in their system. So i re signed up and they unlocked my unit. 3days after that i came back and my access card i was given to the facility didn’t work. Which ment every time i opened my unit it set off an alarm. Then when i went to check out. I again was not in their system so i had to sign everything again just so sign out that same day.

The floor at the storage entrance door could be a trip hazard. old door frames removed but concrete not patched very good or not at all.

Christine Connors was awesome! She was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions & was very approachable. She went above & beyond when our keycard & passcode wouldn't work. She resolved the issue before the end of her shift & notified me the problem was corrected immediately.

Best thought out plan for self storage. Very quick sign up at facility. Lady who assisted me was very friendly and arranged everything perfectly. Great rates, indoor (which is great with summer coming soon), self service carts (including one for mattresses, which is very nice). Facility extremely clean and great alarm system. Even if your storage is unlocked, once it unlatches it will set off alarm unless you swipe your key card at entrance. No contracts and 1st month free to boot. Everything very well thought out. Highly recommended for your storage needs!!

with electronic sign in and out we felt secure with our belongings left in our storage unit. So that was above the rest of the storage facilities in the area. One are of improvement is that we saw several times people we assumed were "living" there using the bathrooms and leaving them unfit to anyone else to use. These people usually had bikes for transport and would leave with backpacks and then return later in the day.

I have come to discover that I receive only the very best customer service from every U Haul location I visit but Mathew Kirkbride at the Mesa storage facility was outstanding to work with and one of the most customer-friendly experiences I have ever encountered.

I had to return some mattress cover sheet but the manager Derek mentioned that he wasn't able to refund my credit which was odd cuz I had no problem returning cover sheets to other location and other staffs were able to process it.
