Brian PVery displeased with having to pick up the truck 60 miles from the original location and having to spend the additional fuel in my personal vehicle to go pick it up which 130 miles additional on personal vehicle and was not giving enough miles for the uhaul to make the trip! Had to pay for 12 additional miles. Total bullshit. Very displeased.
Leonard KIt would help to know the recommended height to have a level trailer while pulling, as most newer pickups would need a drop hitch to have the trailer level while pulling.

DAVID AI called to reserve a trailer and was told that have one of the particular trailer, that I was looking for but it had light issues. I was informed that they would contact me, when they had the issue resolved. I was contacted and they said the lights were repaired, so I picked it up and loaded it for my trip. I drove all day and when the sun went down, I turned my vehicle lights on to find out the trailer tail lights did not work. So, the rental place did not fix the lighting issue. I was only able to drive during the day! My trip ended up taking an extra day and cost me an additional hotel room.
THOMAS EI was told I could have my pods dropped at the location of my choice. My understanding was I had PAID for this. Pods arrived at local Uhaul, I paid monthly while waiting for my living situation to settle. I finally went to get my stuff, you all wanna charge me to drop them at a location of my choice. Even though I this was what I had already been sold. Hell, a drop off woulda been negligible compared to what I paid y'all in storage fees. But customer service is apparently not a thing Uhaul stands for. Point taken. I will not spend any money with y'all ever again, and will make sure to explain your outright fraudulent tactics to all my friends and family. Y'all have enough competitors, and your service has proven to be an excellent ad for them. Local folks were great, Corporate bait and switch for a couple hundred more after like $8k worth of business was one of the slimiest business deals I've seen that wasn't in a dark alley. I paid for point to point. The final point was delayed, and I paid for every month of that delay. Then you try to gouge me for the final mile, causing unreasonable inconvenience by withholding what was promised in the contract and paid for. Unbelievably greedy, shortsighted, and petty.

IAN SI rented a 20 ft truck on line and had my brother drive it to my location in the next state. I only spent around $100 for gas round trip! Great gas mileage, truck was clean and it turned out to be the perfect size. When I had to extend the rental a day, they were respectful and helpful. Made my move a lot easier.

PATRICK J1 box had leaked and ruined our mattress. After paying waayyyy too much to store them in a dry facility, it was more than disappointing. Now we are wasting more time trying to file a claim. Thankfully for U-Haul, they have a young lady named Grace at the Escanaba who made so many frustrating issues, like not having delivery of the boxes and having to make 5 - 80 mile round trip, trips to get our possessions to our new home.
RYAN SThe truck had a few coffee stains on the front seat and cup holder but I notified Grace along with it not having a dolly to use, which we never use anyway but I just didn't want to get charged for it since it wasn't strapped in, in the back. Grace was awesome and always is an easy person to talk with and she knows the ins and outs of check in and check out. I've been going there for the last 6 years and usually have an easy transaction and not too many issues with the equipment. Great location and friendly and professional staff (most of them).

MARIA LDustin at the Escanaba, MI location called me a liar after I told him I never received a confirmation phone call. He also threatened me that he wouldn’t rent to me after I was upset that he called me a liar. I asked to speak with a manager and he refused and said he was the only one I would be speaking with. And when I asked him if I could get a larger truck he gave me the runaround saying that Green Bay, WI needing the smaller truck and if I didn’t take it to them that he would need to. I had to prove to him on my phone that no one called me. The person that noted my account on the computer said they called but I only received a text (the time stamped matched). There a fly that landed on his hand as he was typing on computer and he started to speak about other employees body odor and that why they had flies in the building. Overall a horrible experience and Dustin should not be allowed to speak to customers the way he did. I personally would have fired him on the spot.

PATTI CHidden clean up fee of $25. The guy said "look at that sticker" that from the back of the van was unreadable. Just another add on fee to fleece the customer. I'll rent elsewhere.

MICHAEL KThe manager spent an hour the night before my pick up driving to Rock Michigan to pick up the truck that I was promised in Escanaba by the company. She was super. The company that promised a timely pick up but tried to make me somehow go 20 miles to pick up the truck gets an F. It is not business like to confirm a pick up site and then change it the day before.

THOMAS ZWhen I arrived for my pickup time (which was on a Friday afternoon), the staff was backed-up with other customers that needed hands-on assistance. Specifically, there were multiple simultaneous customers ahead of me that needed assistance hitching trailers to their personal vehicles. Perhaps Friday afternoons would be an ideal timeframe for additional staffing at this location. In this way, the location could be more flexible to serve customers with traditional "Monday to Friday" jobs who are just beginning their weekend and need to rent equipment for a move or weekend projects.
BENJAMIN GNothing - The staff was responsive. Reserving the trailer, picking it up, and dropping it off were all quick, smooth transactions.

RAYMOND SI got there at 7:05 am. There was already a man waiting there. The door was open and I walked in. Nobody was in the store. I looked everywhere in the store and the man looked around outside. At 7:40 a woman showed up finally!!!!! She acted like it was no big deal. The big kicker was that she was the manager.
