Adam H | Overall ExperienceWhen I first was called regarding my truck a representative said this location wouldn’t have the equipment I needed and sent me instead to a location nearby called Jeff Quick Lube. I don’t understand how the main Uhaul location wouldn’t have a 10’ truck. I arrived at Jeff quick lube at 8:20 for my 8:30 reservation, and no one was working there despite their hours online listed as opening at 8. By 8:45 we were still standing in the cold rain with no one to open the business or help us with the truck. I called Uhaul where a very helpful rep updated my reservation to the Ewing center. Please evaluate the hours and convenience of Jeff quick lube as it was nearly an hour long and very unfortunate detour that I don’t think needed to happen in the first place.

Have pix to verify. Do not prefer to share bad news just suggestions to make it better for the next. Please note the display never lit up for radio etc…there was a tire pressure warning and the yellow light is on. Please also check that the Auto light function is working. When I was leaving in the dark I could not see any lights on. Needed to put on the far right. Not a complaint and all was pretty easy and convenient. Please be sure not to overcharge for gas or miles. Thanks and happy holidays.

BERNARD STrain your mangers so they know what they are doing. The workers were able to resolve issues that the manger of the store messed up. You should fire that current one and put the worker that resolve the issue in charge. He really went over and behond. From what iam hearing I am not the only customer that the manger messed up.

WILLIAM TComputer system was down. Customer service was terrible. Business hours should be expanded. Employees should have familiarized me with the truck especially the many buttons inside the cab. Ask to rent a utility dolly and then was later told there were no utility dollies available.
joseph mI'm impressed this place was so ready to go with all the packaging and storage. I only needed to nice within a few towns so the extended van was enough for a one day use. They were helpful when returning the rental. Thanks guys.

RAQUEL MWhen I picked up vehicle couldn’t see the mileage. They ask how many miles I was traveling. I told them no more than 15. I did maybe 5 miles and they charged me for 15 still. They did not check the vehicle they just put 15 miles in and charge me. I would still recommend just make sure you check your mileage.

kathleen bI was a bit troubled by the clerk taking calls and training an associate while I waited to be acknowledged. The associate can wait a few minutes and recalls can put on hold for a minute. Also the process to rent a vehicle on your phone is too long a a bit challenging.After I reserved the truck online I thought some of this information could be transferred over to expedite the process. This was my worst experience with renting a vehicle. Lastly , the clerk at the counter could be a bit more customer friendly to help ease the frustration of the process.
ELDARISE WYou changed the pickup location the day before to a location that was not even open the day of my scheduled pickup, so then I had to drive 40 min from my original pickup location to Ewing, and more than that back to where I was loading the truck. For the extra gas and miles I should have been compensated. I will not be using UHaul ever again.

Of particular note, when I checked out on Sunday, 1 September, I had a fantastic customer service experience with the employee on duty (Alex). He was dealing with a difficult customer/situation, but maintain a professional composure and still handled the other customers in line with a professional, expeditious, and extremely polite manner. He even called at the end of the day to confirm my request. I was very impressed! It's that kind of customer service that will make me a repeat customer.

veerendra sMade a reservation prior to checking out in June. The facility told me the reservation was complete. Arrived on August 3rd and couldn’t find my reservation. I was the very first one in line and other customers started arriving 10 minutes later. The guy at the counter instead of helping me just left me hanging and helped other people that came after me. I called Uhall to make a new reservation, I then told the counter guy I made a new reservation. He asked me to self check in. I tried doing the self check in and I was unsuccessful. I saw the manager and I asked him for help and he completely ignored me, he told me to wait for the guy at the counter. Two hours later he came back to me and tried to help me check in. He had no experience with the process, he then called his manager who told him he has to release the unit from the computer before I could self check in. It was so frustrating . Never again I will go there.

They spilled pai t while accessing my unit as a result my table and bernhardt letter sofa were damaged. When l brought it up to the facility manager he said he does not go to the units. Very disappointing with the poor quality of customer service and lack of responsibility. The facility manager is very rude.

Finally, the check in was awful. UHaul didn't send the information to the facility. The gentleman did his best. Getting into the unit was another process, unable to use my code and I had to call the front desk who had no idea how to fix it!! Poor guy. Finally got in, and hoping I didn’t encounter the same process. All the while I was paying movers $40 to wait!! Horrible experience

liz d | Overall ExperienceThe posted hours for self-storage access are incorrect. It says 10pm on the website and Google Maps, but a piece of paper on the door says 5pm until further notice. Sharing in hopes people will see this before showing up. Not having evening access is a big deal, especially if you work. Customers should at least be notified so they can choose a facility that works for them and plan their moving logistics around the correct hours.

Robert Y | Overall ExperienceThe GM of this location was super accommodating as we exceeded the access hours and even helped us assess the situation and ultimately we needed to move to a larger storage area- he could have easily held to strict policy which would have been a real predicament for us. I appreciated the flexibility and in general this is a well run business as long as the hours of accessibility meets your needs.

When I inquired about when the current access hours (9am-5pm) would go back to the listed times (5am-10pm) they said it might be a year before it happens. I understand not updating the website for temporary changes to the access. This is not a temporary change as they had no définitive plan when it would return to posted hours. I would have never rented a unit if I knew the hours were significantly shorter.
