My pick-up time was set for 6am, I received a confirmation call the day prior to verify that it would be ready. When I arrived to pick it up at 5:50am there was no unit assigned/ready for mobile pick-up. I was told I had to wait until the store opened. I was help back on time due to negligence on the companies part. I believe I should have recieved a slightly lower rate due to the inconvenience. If I were to have dropped it off late you would not hesitate to charge me for it. So how is it right that due to the company not being ready BUT verifying that it would be the day before. That nothing comes out of it.
Scott MThe rental was perfect. The only imporovement would be to be more precise when indicating what the fuel level actually is on the paperwork. The fuel level was 1/8 th of a tank lower on the indicator than was stated on the paperwork. Not a big deal as i filled the tank to the requested level when i returned it.

I have been renting from U-Haul for years and these two exhibited a High example of customer service at its finest! It is not every day you find kindness and exemplary customer service like that with such knowledgeable professionalism! They took the time to show me how to utilize the storage unit properly, and they took the time to go over the truck with me in detail. It was an excellent experience and I will highly recommend this experience to everyone in the future with these two in particular as such great customer service Representatives! James SNot sure about the Charge or fee it shows on my receipt net pay today $42.16 but when I check my credit card I was charge $46.19? Doesn't make sense if your receipt and charge on my card are different? Please explain
Kristopher MReserved a 26 foot truck over a week in advance and the day before the move they texted me they only had a 20 foot truck available. This shortage of footage made the move rather difficult and overloaded our pickups! Also……this location needs to get their debit/credit card machines in proper working order!!

Corporate uhaul had delayed and messed up our ubox delivery after an across country move, so we were very stressed. The Grande Prairie uhaul staff did absolutely everything in their power to help us, between helping us schedule a local delivery using a truck and trailer, answering the ten million questions we had, and then helping us coordinate a ubox to storage unit transfer. We appreciate their help so, so much, and highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Arthur SMy only issue , is they took $100 deposit and only returned $34 dollars . I do not know why and nobody could explain why. The truck had fuel and clean when returned . So I’m actually upset about that because moving to a new city is exspensive.

Timothy MBetter traffic flow for returns. I pulled in with the 16’ truck and car trailer with no where to go because there was 1 person who received their rental truck sitting in the parking lot in the way of the returns area. And personal vehicle parked up ahead. The associate asked me to back up the vehicle and trailer and park it for him in a different area. I returned the rentals a day early, but the invoice I received does not reflect that. I will have to contact customer service in the morning.

Clinton BI was twice told I could drop off the vehicle at a particular location in Calgary only to find the contract, after I departed with the vehicle that I could not use that location, this change was made in your system, I had no visibility to this but was supposed to know that you had mislead me and changed the drop off. If I did the drop off as discussed, the vehicle would be towed and I would be charged. The allowed locations are way east in industrial zones. I was told to take a bus after drop off but there are no buses in those areas that are useful but, why would you tell me to take a bus. I spent almost one hour on the phone dealing with your changes to the agreement and to my plan and told that you did not care what I did. I have never been so mislead, seen the paper work changed without discussion or agreement, told to deal with your changes and treated with such unprofessional distain. I will do anything to avoid ever working with your company again.

William M | Overall ExperienceDropped off truck at 330 same day, was called that I didn’t drop it off the next day. Was sitting in their parking lot, and keys were handed to the front desk. Not sure how they missed that. But was easy to deal with and the employees are very nice.

Kathleen RWhen hooking up a trailer for the customer, make sure that it is completely and correctly installed. My trailer was hooked up by the Uhaul guy, but the nut that secures the connection from the trailer to the trailer hitch ball was left loose. Thankfully I checked it and tightened it before driving off.
Roman MThis was not our rental but it used our contacts. No one seems to have checked that the account information matched the client. We got his receipts and contracts. When we rented our unit and mentioned the compromised account we had to use 2 additional cintact numbers because our numbers are now connected to this other person. It's a mess!

GAYLE A | Overall ExperiencePoor customer service the whole way. I’m very sad I continue to use uhaul and will be investing in my own trailer for personal and future use. The in person interactions showed lack of training and knowledge. Had to pay to extend my truck rental as there was no one there to help me put the car onto my auto transport, which I have never had an issue with in the past, and I could have left a day earlier and had help set up from a family member. Incredibly poor experience and service.

Lisa SI moved from over 9 hours away and had a long day by the time I dropped off the truck after hours. The app and website wasn’t allowing me to do anything so I called in and got it figured out. In my rush to leave, I forgot my wallet in the truck. The next morning I called the drop off location and talked to Taylor. She was kind and courteous and found my wallet and kept it safe until I arrived to pick it up. Top level professionalism and customer service. Well done!

Guy BThe boys at the front did not seem to be on the ball with every point of the transaction. The girls seemed to know a lot more of what steps to take. I also asked for a specific trailer that was in stock in the yard (the largest) they said the largest trailer wasn’t in stock. So I went with the next biggest trailer. After all renting paperwork was completed, they then showed me the smallest trailer (not the medium sized). While seeing the trailer, the original trailer I requested was in stock x2. So we then changed the order to the original trailer requested. Nothing wrong with pricing or the trailer, front end staff (boys) were challenging to communicate / deal with as it seemed they did not know what was going on!

Robert MForced to spend $20 plus GST to buy an electrical adaptor from UHaul because the cargo trailer had some weird flat connector, not a normal round trailer plug -which is found on virtually every truck. I’ll never use it again- It should have been provided(with a deposit). FYI found out Canadian Tire sells the same adaptor for $12. The roll up door on the trailer was extremely hard to open and close and squealed like crazy- no maintenance. Not a happy customer.

Karl GBeautiful new looking facility... But DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY!!!! Garbage EVERYWHERE in loading bays, and hallways. FLOORS are DISGUSTINGLY dirty and need sweeping, mopping and buffing. Doors didnt work. Worker PRIED them open to get in. Truck i rented was DIRTY. Making my items dirty. (Refunded me a portion of rental.) Not sure eho is manahi g hhis place, byt needs to be fired and replaced with someone who can actually run and CLEAN this place up. There were 5 People (3 men, 2 women) when i was checking out...why werent some of them cleaning instead of all listening to my business at the counter? It does not inspire confidence that my items are going to be safe. Would not reccomend this place to anyone as is currently.
