U-Haul made my experience, easy, comfortable and even fun. The employees made my experience great. I’m a set up. Exceeded my expectations. I’m happy with my choice and I would use U-Haul again.

At this location, units have been broken into. When i was there the other day, there was a female wondering around that was intoxicated checking locks. I reported it the next day. When unloading my items there was a small flood that was dangerous to be unpacking & walking through. I needed at least 10x20 unit and there was none available so I had to take two separate units which means I had to unload my home into two separate areas. This was very complicated. My units are a little tricky to open as the door latch gets stuck & is hard for me to maneuver. Needless to say, I am not too impressed with this facility and storage unit.

Great service from the one guy who was there when we picked up the trailer and the guy who helped us at drop off! I've been here a couple times since the new location opened and these two employees were my favorite! :)

I rented a 26’ U-Haul truck online, it said a representative would call me the next day because there was a scheduling conflict, I waited two days then finally called U-haul, I was told that I got switched to a 20’ truck but then they let me know we can make a bigger one work so all was well. Four days before I needed the u-haul I got a cal saying that no we can’t provide a 26’ truck nor can we provide a truck for your requested time. So now I’m left with a 20’ truck for a day less AND it had to be back at 7 in the morning! Not happy with this at all, so I didn’t get the size of truck I wanted even though I was told it would be ok, didn’t get it for the amount of time I wanted and didn’t even get it for 48 hours, yet I had TO PAY FOR TWO DAYS! Not happy with the service at all I will be contacting someone shortly about it

The staff were friendly and courteous, but the location appears to be understaffed and struggling to keep up with customer demand. When I first called, I was on hold for approximately 23 minutes before being told the location was about to close and no assistance could be provided. During my visits, there were often multiple customers waiting while no staff were available at the front counter. Even when service was being provided, the overall pace felt very slow and there seemed to be little sense of urgency. I also experienced issues with the equipment. We connected two different trailers before finding one with functioning signal lights. Equipment should be inspected and ready to go before customers arrive, especially when towing safety is involved. The employees were polite and helpful when they were available, but the overall experience would be greatly improved with additional staffing, faster service, and better equipment checks before rentals are sent out.

Got confused on which day was tomorrow, said going to text my reservation, didn't receive one an hour later and phoned him back , said he was extending my pickup time , thats when i discovered he was on today instead of tomorrow but got striaghted out

Took forever to get helped when coming in, line up and then the link wouldn’t work, there was dirt and water in back of the box, splatter up along the walls inside the box Where I had to load my household furniture and goods The cruise kept kicking off while driving for 4.5 hours, suddenly it would just stop working, sounded like it was gonna die when when having to climb a hill, Not happy at all when I have to pay 1100 to rent a truck

The service and the people were great at this location , the one thing I have a issue with is from U-Haul themselves and the 4 prong trailer plug , they should provide a adapter and then they sell you one for 22 dollars to fit the new trucks . But service was great , and at he drop of place as well it was quick and easy . I did not even make it to the office and they met me as I drove in. I will definitely rent there again

We had no marker lights so we couldn’t drive it at night which made us have to stop on our trip overnight and spend extra money on a hotel for safety reasons

Matt was a Godsend. He saved us from a nightmare. U-HAUL didn't have the equipment that I had the "Guaranteed Rental". It was moving day with possession of the buyer the next day. Matt went above and beyond, unlike the U-HAUL rep who called to say I could drive 400km round-trip to get the trailer I have been guaranteed.

I have used this location a few times for drop off when moving to Grande Prairie and the team here is Amazing, helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond in customer service! I will only use them for my future U-Haul needs.

Website was easy to navigate, customer service was excellent, both knowledgeable and helpful. Only recommendation would be to have additional staff one. Only 1 staff member on for pick up and drop off. Due to individualized time spent with each customer wait times were longer. Overall would use this location again and highly recommend to others

Rented the truck for two days, was done a day early. picked it up about noon thursday, reserved a truck two months in advanced and a dolly. They had the truck for me this time but no dolly. Brought it back at like 4::30 pm on Friday.I asked if they needed anything from me, they said no, your credit card is on file, so I left. Then the next day they are waking me up calling me about dropping of the truck. I’m sleeping so put it on silent, later I read a voice message asking about the truck, they call again later, and again when I am up getting ready for work(night shift). I miss the call, but decide enough is enough and call back, it directs me to central processing or whatever, I say fuck that, they can figure it out. Central processing with uhaul is a nightmare. Last time I tried reserving a truck to move provinces they dicked me around to no end, which is another whole story. If they weren’t the only game in town I would never use uhaul. I tell people hey, if you can avoid uhaul, avoid them, if you can’t, suck it up and prepare to get dicked. If you have truck, rent a horse trailer, anything but uhaul, last resort only. If you need a uhaul to drive across provinces, lie and tell them you are doing a day rental, then just drive to where you have to go, drop off the truck to the nearest uhual and let then deal with it. they are going to dick you around regardless, might as well ensure your needs are met. long story short, I get an email and receipt for my two day rental that I used for 1 day.

The Mileage I pick up the vehicle was different from the mileage that was used to bill. Secondly the mileage was in miles whiles billing is done in kilometres. This create confusion in the conversion. While not set to kilometres as Canada uses kilometres or bill in miles if the vehicle is set to miles

Renting the unit and a truck were so easy! The man we worked with had a heavy accent and spoke with a very soft voice. We had to ask for clarification many times. At the end, when I was using my app to take photos and list mileage, I found it frustrating that the vehicle measured in km but the app wanted imperial numbers. I will be in touch tomorrow morning to discuss this issue.

Booking and acquiring the vehicle was a quick, efficient process. Payment was easy. After our in town move, we needed to return the vehicle a day early and required additional storage for a few items. Once again the service was excellent and Adam at the storage facility was very courteous and very knowledgeable.

I have high standards, and in a world where businesses try to charge top dollar for minimal effort, it is truly refreshing to see a facility like this one, that is clean, organized, and professional, for a fair price. You can tell that much forethought went into the design of this indoor, heated storage facility, and it caters beautifully to the needs of its target customers. I stopped in just as U Haul was opening in April I left my cc number and requested a space close to the front doors this didn’t happen. The space I had to rent was a long walk and way from the front entrance. I stopped into Uhaul a couple of days before move in on June 1 to pick my spot I was told to do this by staff when I arrived to check in on June 1 the spot I had reserved and picked out was rented by someone else. The staff member told me I couldn’t speak to any managers no management on site. Next up before I checked in my cc was charged for someone else’s rental this charge was reversed. Next mistake I was double charged in July for my space to get this rectified it took multiple stops at the location. It has now been fixed. Next thing I was denied one month free rental it is advertised that if you rent a space and use a truck you get one month free rental. I didn’t receive this because my rental started in June I rented the truck in July. Nice concept by I wouldn’t be able to recommend this business just too many mistakes.

I am deeply impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, courteousness and great customer service performed by Matthew D and Devin! I have been renting from U-Haul for years and these two exhibited a High example of customer service at its finest! It is not every day you find kindness and exemplary customer service like that with such knowledgeable professionalism! They took the time to show me how to utilize the storage unit properly, and they took the time to go over the truck with me in detail. It was an excellent experience and I will highly recommend this experience to everyone in the future with these two in particular as such great customer service Representatives! I’ve dealt with many uhauls and this is the best one by a mile. Corporate uhaul had delayed and messed up our ubox delivery after an across country move, so we were very stressed. The Grande Prairie uhaul staff did absolutely everything in their power to help us, between helping us schedule a local delivery using a truck and trailer, answering the ten million questions we had, and then helping us coordinate a ubox to storage unit transfer. We appreciate their help so, so much, and highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Beautiful new looking facility... But DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY!!!! Garbage EVERYWHERE in loading bays, and hallways. FLOORS are DISGUSTINGLY dirty and need sweeping, mopping and buffing. Doors didnt work. Worker PRIED them open to get in. Truck i rented was DIRTY. Making my items dirty. (Refunded me a portion of rental.) Not sure eho is manahi g hhis place, byt needs to be fired and replaced with someone who can actually run and CLEAN this place up. There were 5 People (3 men, 2 women) when i was checking out...why werent some of them cleaning instead of all listening to my business at the counter? It does not inspire confidence that my items are going to be safe. Would not reccomend this place to anyone as is currently.
