The equipment looked great but one tire was definitely trash and for safety reasons shouldn’t have been on the trailer. The rubber peeled off of a portion of it, exposing wires while I was driving. I’ve rented many times before from different locations and this was the first time I had a trailer tire issue.

PATTY PEmployee was very helpful, but one person working with a long line of guests was slow. Also, the U-Haul system allowed me to reserve the truck for 830 am and it was confirmed, but the location did not open until nine am.
JOSEPH SRail for tie down on right side, as well as front of trailer were not completely attached. When I retuned trailer I told the employee about it. They said “oh yes we’re have not been able to fix it after last rental”. This caused me almost a hour of extra time to create the block and bracing to secure my load.

SHOUA LWhat was the additional $8+ dollar charge for. You advertise $19.99. $1.29 per mile. I drove 10 miles and 2 charges. $35+ and $8+. Doesn't add up to me.

KYLE PHad access issues and misunderstandings. The first manager raised my rent in less than 3-6months and his assisting manager were both terrible people skills. I regretted not keeping my original unit at the other larger, nicer & polite location. I was moving my belongings into storage because Im homeless and suffering in a merciless and stupid world. The initial manager didnt care and never answered his phone or returned phone calls where messages left. If I had the means, I wouldve just had my movers move my belongings back to the other facility :-/ My movers had to stop because they had “new policies in place” regarding move-in hours and I believed it was 24hour access, especially moving in… I believe that other manager was Jackson? America is not a friendly place to homeless or those with verified limited incomes (ie qualify for federal programs). I personally believe I deserve 6-12 rent free months for suffering with this Uhaul location.
Ron w | First ImpressionsI moved out of the house storage on January 26th on February the 5th the U-Haul company tried to take another $240 out of my account saying that I was late with my monthly $200 payment when I had already moved out of the storage on the 26th of January and February the 6th they try to take money off my card somebody didn't move me out so it was left open for them to come and try to grab money for my car I think that was very unprofessional and I must say I will find someplace else to do my business

ANDREW Bi wasnt told that the facility was only open during business hours and the sign on the outside of store is old and needs to be updated. the sign states that the storage unit is open at 5am but its an old sign and the storage unit actually opens at 7am. i was trying to move all my stuff in the storage unit at 5 when i was able to before work but had to come back later after work. i was assisted with an extra day for the uhaul rental so that was helpful but still not a good experience

NATHAN MThe truck was clean, but poorly maintained. I rented it for 12 hrs & paid quote a high price for being able to only use it less then 2 hours! I only put about 25 miles on it when all kinds of lights went on the dash. I didn't get to finish moving as I was concerned of the truck breaking down on me. Also other issues besides re s the lights were the shocks/ struts on truck must be broke as it bounced around horrible on any little bump, back door kept opening, couldn't move driver seat, drivers door wouldn't shut tight, etc etc While I quickly returned truck instead of using up my time & money paid for it, your employee didn't seem concerned in the least about my plight & didn't offer any discount in return !!

RONALD EWhile I did not think U-Haul could possibly improve upon my Plymouth, MN pick-up experience, I was delighted to have one of the very best customer service experiences of my life at this drop-off location in Green Bay. The employee was the most helpful and courteous person I could have imagined. Use this gentleman as a model for how your recruit and train team members. He was terrific to deal with. Thank you!!!
ROMAN PBetter training for your staff! I will never use THIS location again on 700 Main st Green Bay WI! I picked up the truck at 11am on Saturday November 9th and brought it back the same day shortly after 330pm! I even left my vehicle there during the rental. I dropped it off in the area for equipment return and gave the person in the store the keys. She calls me the next day and says I never brought back the truck! I went up there and it's the same person I gave the keys too! She said she found the truck but couldn't locate the keys! I asked if their video cameras are recording She said yes but apparently they don't use them because they charged me extra for "bringing back the truck on Sunday" I started an investigation with this because apparently they had my mileage wrong too! No one has contacted me back about anything a day I was told that I wouldn't get charged again but looks like I did. I'm not pleased at all and I would rather carry my dresser on my back to my next destination before I use this location again! Pitiful!

They exceeded our expectations by providing us with some styrofoam that was just lying around which served as a great base for transporting the floral bouquets we needed for our son's wedding the following day. I would just suggest you just keep hiring folks like them to assist people like us {they were both females assisting my wife and me {the parents of the groom}. Thank you.

However, due to the increase in price on top of what is already way higher than other locations I decided to move out to somewhere else. I got a way bigger storage somewhere else for half what you’re charging. Please do price comparison and be reasonable because if you don’t you will eventually loose all your customers

But don't worry, for the privilege of having an auto-payment system that doesn't work, you'll get late fees. To top it all off, you'll get zero response when trying to contact the management. Jomar A | First ImpressionsRented a storage unit and the manager Phillip told me that I had till 10 at night but the Building closed at 7 p.m. Got all the way to the storage unit a little after 8 p.m. and my card key was denied. I had five vehicles with being with a bunch of stuff and had to leave everything outside because nobody could do anything they couldn't get ahold of the manager and he was the only one that could change it and he made my card so I couldn't access the building after 7 p.m. it was pretty cold to be standing there trying to figure out what was wrong all for us to just leave again and then not even that now we have to come back again in the morning and figure all the vehicles to make it back there on time or all at the same time so it's just extra work that we're doing now all because somebody made my card not work so that is my only complaint. Thank you

When I went to pick up the keys, the unit I reserved wasn't available. We were moving the next day. I was told no other units of the size I needed was available. I was told, "RESERVATION MEAN NOTHING." But the Main Street store did have units. Thank goodness for Chi Lee! He called the U- Haul who refused my reservation and confirmed there were units available, but they hadn't been cleaned. So not happy! Chi got me a unit for the next day, showed me how to use the digital key, and apologized giving me 1 month free rental. So appreciated his great customer service. Even though the 1st choice was more convenient to our home, I will Never recommend them to any of our family or friends.

Lauren A | First ImpressionsMy unit had a significant leak. Around $1,000 in items were destroyed from water damage. Since I did not get the insurance I was told there was nothing that could be done. I already was paying $40 more per month for the same size unit as the uhaul 15 minutes away. There is no light in the unit and just a small doorway instead of a garage door type door. So it's already a lot worse quality for 50% more cost. Then to have my 'climate controlled unit' not even control rain is ridiculous. I will be contacting the BBB as well as leaving reviews wherever I can to make sure people know to stay far away from this location. It is absolutely unacceptable, especially when they're already price gouging.
Morgan N | Overall ExperienceOn face-to-face interactions, manager Phillip went above and beyond expectations up to and including night of move out on 7/16. However, I was not officially changed to moved out status until 8/5, despite repeated emails and attempted phone calls. On my attempts to call the facility, I kept getting connected with corporate. I only had one conversation on July 30 with corporate during that 3-week period as I was did not have the time to wait on hold for the estimated time. Even then,it took a week for the facility to finally have me as moved out.
