It appears the safety chains had a couple of links that were worn, I'm sure from dragging on the pavement during use. The chains are quite long and some users don't twist them so they don't drag.

My transaction was on a Sunday morning and there was only one employee and he could have used some help. Even though he was the only one working the wait was not that long and when I returned my truck he was still the only person working.

I tried picking my vehicle up in the morning on a Sunday at 7 a.m. and the vehicle was not at the location that I had set up. I contacted whoever it told me to contact if there was any problems and the person I spoke to told me that I was wrong and it couldn't have told me the wrong place because there was no human interaction . I told him that it was exactly what happened and I I did not like being told I was a liar. I was supposed to receive a confirmation and never did but I got an email telling me my next step was to pick up the vehicle and go through the checklist. After the checklist website told me I had to get it from the downtown U-Haul I got there and the truck was parked in . Then I spoke to someone from U-Haul and she told me the place wouldn't open until 9, if I couldn't get it out. After about five minutes of back-and-forth I squeezed it out of its spot. Then a little after 9 I was called by the manager and told that I took the vehicle without completing the checklist. I then told him everything that happened in the morning and asked him what he would like me to do. I was very unhappy with the web pickup service and not please very much by the staff that handled my calls and concerns

I called this location for information about what equipment would work best for my needs (I needed something immediately). They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and helped attach the trailer correctly. The price including insurance for the day was very reasonable. The trailer was in great shape and pulled well. Upon return, They disconnected the trailer, asked if there were any problems or concerns and were very friendly and polite. I will definitely visit this location again.

The truck was not clean (interior) upon picking it up, but the worker who got it ready for me realized this and asked if I had time to wait so he could get the interior of the cab cleaned to his standards. I agreed and he did a great job. Huge thanks to Brian Gaedtke - please let him know his hard work and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

The trailer they said was stolen an hour before we got there from the shop, believe clerk gave it to a friend to use. So no trailer there which I reserved by paying for it ahead of time. After an hour and a half we had to go to another u haul place across town to pick up a trailer. Very bad service, crappy part of town. My advise don’t use this location

First of all my whole U-Haul experience was terrible. No one tells you you are required to have your receipt when you’re trying to sell boxes back so you end up driving all over the city going to multiple locations to see if they’ll buy your stupid boxes back because you want to be environmentally friendly and not just throw them in the garbage. And the reason that you have to drive all over town is because when you actually call U-Haul location you don’t actually speak to anyone at that U-Haul location, because that would just make commonsense. I mean let’s be real here, why would I and do you want to speak with someone that works at the location that I am picking up a rental vehicle. And said I get to speak with someone that works some random place in the United States that obviously doesn’t care about their job. Because if they didn’t care about their job, they would be able to tell me if I specific location picked up boxes, and to bring your receipt with so you don’t drive over an hour round trip through rush-hour to not be able to return your boxes. Terrible customer service by U-Haul.
