I went back into the location to complain about the horrible smell, the worker inside dismissed my complaint and told me that all the vehicles smelled. I didn't bother discussing the matter any further. The truck so badly that I was nauseated while driving it. I am truly disappointed in Uhaul.

Anthony HI reserved a 10 foot and got a 14 charged for the bigger. I reserved the day before and pick up was 430. Plenty of time to communicate that it wasn't available at that location. I would have called around to find one. Moving usually pairs with a lot expenses but we had to rely on others. I didn't have that money. And the woman was super rude and snapping. I am fed up with uhaul for messing up yet another time 4 times in 8 months. Every time it's something! They are lucky that they are a monopoly. That is the only reason I will use them again. And I will expect them to fail a 5th time.

CHRISTOPHER Simprove your ethics at UHaul. Not the local dealership but U-Haul itself. Adding chump change junk fees such as license recovery and environmental fees in the body of the contract instead of simply putting it on the rental fee is unethical. It may be legal but it will upset every customer you get and may cause people to recommend other rental services. Not very smart, even if it is legal. Also, as far as the local location, teach them to be fair reading the fuel gauge. If you are going to break down the fuel to 1/16 of a tank when the gauge only measures in quarters change the gauge or simply fill the tanks up and require them to be returned full. Total BS. I picked up the truck with 5/16 of a tank. The fuel needle was two needle thickness above the quarter mark. The paperwork said 3/4 tank. I brought it to the attention of the attendant who could do nothing but get me to take a pic of the gauge and dispute it on the app. Not my job to do such when picking up a rental. This put up red flags and when I returned the truck I took a pic in the lot of each side of the truck, the milage and the fuel gauge. Low and behold I was charged $27 plus tax for fuel when I stopped at a fuel station a mile before I returned the truck and topped it off to two needles above the 1/4 mark and I did take a pic of that. I sent it to the attendant two days later when I reviewed the bill. She said she read the gauge and it said a quarter and no one used the truck. My picture disputed that and pictures today have a time, date and a gps location of when the pic was taken. I had to jump through hoops and waste an hour of my time to get the fuel charge credited. Do better.

BRICE KThe team obviously was poorly trained. I requested a one way rental from Hammond Louisiana to Douglasville Georgia. I was assured that everything was in order. I was quoted just under one hundred dollars for the rental. I later received a message saying that my drop off point was back at the same location as where I picked it up. I dropped off the trailer in Douglasville as planned and now I’m being charged extra because I’m being told that I have a lost receipt. Not happy with U-Haul at the moment!

ROBBIN Wposted signs said that upon move out, we could opt to use the on site dumpster and be charged $50 for use of it. we had a mattress we couldn’t take, and asked if we could use the dumpster, like posted signs said. we were told no, and so I asked about the posted signs that said if we left anything, we would be charged a cleaning fee. I said we’ll have to use that option because I can’t take this mattress. I was told that wasn’t an option, and that we would be charged for multiple months of storage if we did not remove this mattress. an employee called me to settle the matter, when I said I could not drive towns away and pay for a vehicle to haul off the item, and pay a dump fee, when posted signs clearly stated they could handle that, I was called an idiot by this employee. they continued to try to charge me for storage, even though the unit was left unlocked and clean aside from that one large item. I won’t use u-haul again, because they seem to change policies when it suits them, even to the contradiction of their own posted policies, and because being called an idiot for expecting them to honor their posted policies isn’t something I appreciate from a company. I expect posted signs detailing policies to be accurate, and to not be called an idiot for that expectation.

The date you have listed here for moving out of the unit is wrong. I had it emptied by the 27th of August, not the 31st, delayed less than 12 hours because of problems with water damage. I am also upset to be told that I was sent a late payment notice for the new billing cycle, after all of the water damage and white powdery mildew on my wooden furniture abd a leather bag. I was ill for 2 weeks after moving out of the unit. I feel that Uhaul should give me a refund on the 2 month rental of this faulty, leaking unit, not be billed for the unit after it was vacated!!! I will never rent from Uhaul again and I will tell everyone I know about my disasterous experience with Uhaul, which I filmed and have pictures of. I am grateful I did purchase at least a mininum amount of insurance, but that does not compensate or make up for U-Haul 's neglect of a good protective storage unit and faulty billing system!

I informed two young men on two different occasional that I was moving out the unit well before my next due date of payment, but not one ever told the manager so I was told. I even called and tried to speak with the manager of the location never could get a call back and the manager was never available for me to speak with. Even though I called about closing the unit in May. The location at 1915 sw railroad is now telling me that I am responsible for a unit that I moved out of and never stored anything in the unit in the month of June. I am being penalized for this location lack of communication, professionalism and at this point they are trying to rip me off. No telling how many people they have or will do this to, it is not right and I will not and should not be responsible for a payment in June when I did everything according to contract, but this location doesn’t do their kid effectively as a team

Shady practices and a general lack of transparency cause problems for customers which management refuses to solve and blames the customer. Look at the Google reviews for this place. If the majority of customers are having a problem, it is probably a uhaul problem, not a one off rude person. I'll never use uhaul again and I will never recommend them to a friend. Do better.

So much so I was very uncomfortable with leaving my belongings in the storage unit. Then she over charged me almost 100.00 dollars I had to call the 1800 number so I could get my money back. The paperwork on the uhaul truck I rented when I rented the unit didn't even match the truck I was given. The woman who I assume was the manager that day 09/30/2022 at around 11:00am when I went in the office to ask what unit number my unit was not only did she not give me the whole number which was building c unit numbers 611-612 she just told be 611 her and her staff actually watched me and my boyfriend and our friend drive around and walk around the whole storage facility for almost 2 hours looking for my unit that was come to find out inside of building c which I was never told after multiple trips inside the office. She and one of her staff actually laughed at us as they just watched us. Some of my belongings I found out when I moved out of the unit where damaged and broken because it took us so long to find the unit without any help from staff we where running out of time alloted for the uhaul truck that we rented a was told couldn't be extended so we couldn't pack our belongings in the unit as they should have been neatly and carefully because doing so we would have had to pay for another day on the uhaul truck. Which the woman tried to do anyway when she overcharged me for the truck anyway. And last but not least after moving out of my unit on 10/29/2022 I was charged 50.00 dollars for a cleaning fee when I swept out the unit myself when we finished emptying the unit which I have been unable to get refunded back to me. I will never rent from this uhaul again. It was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had. And I will not be recommending this uhaul place to anyone. Thank you for your time and be blessed.
