I spent 20 minutes reserving a truck online uploading all required information for the driver who works for me and received a confirmation. My guys got there at 8:00am. I got a call at 8:30 that I had to personally pick up the truck even though I registered the driver who picked the truck up. I had to drive a hour to pickup the truck myself. I lost 2.5 hours of moving time and 180.00 in labor waiting for the truck This is the second time this happened . Going to rent from Penske from now on.

Thanks for your service available to our need. Overall we are pleased with this rental, I timely returned your truck,,and used APP to return your truck, during the summit process,my phone dies, due to your truck didn’t have a charging port. After I used my own car charging port to revive my iPhone,was trying to continue the process, I found that it’s completed. I just don’t want you to surcharge more.since I returned the truck exactly time.11:00 pm. Thank you

Have all the address ready for drop off, it took two days of wait to finally get a dope off near my home. When I was at the pick up location in PA, no one was able to find a different location from the ones they already had in file. At the end, everything was fine. Thanks.

The trailer was infested with live roaches. I had one day to move my daughter's items to college and no choice but to try and spray the inside with bleach, and wrap all furniture/clothes/items in garbage bags to the best of my ability. To my dismay, the bleach must have only made them temporarily scatter because when we arrived to unpack, the live roaches were still everywhere. We were both disgusted, embarrassed, and horrified.. If she infested her college dorm room from this experience, it will have life long consequences for her socially, and emotionally. Who would have thought that so many bugs can live inside a metal box

I am very happy with the equipment and service. Had issues with the site getting errors on the website on my phone when i took the last picture. My only gripe is that i didn’t have a reservation but ohysicall went to this location for a cargo van. And the young lady said there were none available and all reserved. And i had to go to another town. And this was 100% incorrect. I called the 1800 number and spoke to a woman that said that there were vans perfectly available and she went ahead and made the reservation. I had left the location when i was first denied but then returned. And wasted time in the process. And the lady didn’t have a good answer. Something about not all the vans were working. All i knownis that i was late and a working staff gave incorrect information. And i feel lied to and felt i was just sent away. The 1800 person didn’t understand why i was told that. So my time was wasted in dealing with this. However i learned i cannot trust staff. I’d rather just make a reservation beforehand in order to do things timely. Shouldn’t be like that though. Other than that. Very happy with uhaul.

Setting up the storage originally was horrible. Israel C was rude and not helpful. I got so upset I cancelled the storage and he never refunded my money. I had to call back to get assistance from Clever who was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond. Will not recommend doing storage at this location only renting a truck etc. I put helpful staff ONLY for Clever not Israel C

Unfortunately, I cancelled the storage unit. It was dark and dirty. Spider webs all over. To small for the price. Israel C was not polite until the end. Understanding it was toward the end of the day customer service never stops. Will not recommend storage unit.

The area under the canopy designated for after hours returns was full of other returns. Finding an area nearby was difficult due to the slanted pavement. Wheel chocks need to be nearby to secure trailers so they don't roll.

The van was returned early and was told when i dropped off the keys that the invoice would be adjusted - that did not happen and I was billed the full amount. I felt like the counter people do not care about the customer. Also asked for counter assistance and was told the location is only self rental and self return - this was not indicated anywhere else on the website or any documentation received

When I arrived, there was no equipment there for me. I waited about 30 minutes total for them to figure out what to do and to get the trailer to the business. The rep was truly excellent but no discount for that on a $15/day trailer? When I returned the trailer, the rep was pretty lackluster unlike the man who initially set me up. Other than that, it was a great experience. I’ll recommend you to others.

Even though I had reserved in advance, only the truck itself was available. I was getting a one-way truck and tow dolly, and a TV box. They didn't have a one way dolly nor the TV box. The gent who attended to me was sending me to Westbury for box and Bellmore for the tow dolly. Westbury had both, but seems he didn't verify that. Except for that glitch, everyone was friendly and accommodating.

Storage is sketchy, the after hours help line number never gets picked up, the staff is poorly educated and of no help. It seems like People are living out of the storage containers there and there are many sketchy characters there. I would not suggest this location to anyone. The manager will never pick up his phone. One of the access doors doesn’t work. Terrible location

excellent value overall. however i was expecting a much larger unit on the ground floor level to accommodate my very full 20 foot uhaul truck what i was offered was the same size as rvc had offered me. walter was knowledgeable and helpful. his assistant (?) was much less so ( may i suggest a pay raise to increase employee engagement and additional training on how to please and satisfy customers queries) what saved this deal ( we were going to go someplace else entirely) was that Walter sold me side by side units. Walter deserves an even bigger pay raise. Thank you, Walter.

The second floor storage was very inconvenient. I have never seen a storage that you had to climb steps to get to. This should be told to customers so they have the choice to choose something else.

The parking was not great. They are returned vehicles parked vehicles all over the place and employees parked close to the facility and impeded the removing of boxes from the storage. Hopefully management can do something about it.

I was always scared to go to this uhaul because their were so many complaints of rodents thankfully all my belongings were secure and upon move out no issues with rodents at all it was clean

I can’t speak for every storage unit, but my storage unit had many mice feces. I was with Uhaul Hempstead for approximately nine years, and the mice issue has gotten worse. The rent increases every few months, and nothing has been done to correct the mice issue. The staff is excellent. The facility is cleaned but only cleaned to mask an issue.
