JORGEALBERTO MPerhaps we get reimbursed for the gas I put in the vehicle. I don’t think it’s fair that I start my trip with 1/25 of gas. I think all vehicles should be topped off before riding. That might make it easier to organize for me . Otherwise I appreciate U-HAUL!

ANTON JGood morning and thank you for the opportunity to send feedback. I would like to commend the condition of the facility and the van. The employees are terrific: patient, courteous, and very helpful. They deserve a five-star rating. However, the company gets a very poor rating for is customer unfriendly, non-sensical phone-app requirements to rent. It took me 40 minutes to get my truck and be on my way as well as the other parties who were purchasing service. You make your customers thumb around with phones like idiots when the three people who worked with me had to run around from customer phone to phone. I've rented trucks for over forty years: a simple process: make a reservation and go to the shop with a credit card and ID. You have created barriers to a well-oiled system fixing what was not broken. Before I arrived at the location for my pickup, I had created an account, gave all the requested info; and it all meant nothing because I had to redo everything when I got to your site. Your advancement in technology ruins your service.

CHRISTOPHER SThe "making a reservation" process was absolutely ridiculous. It was time consuming and unnecessary. It would have taken less time to just help the customer at the counter. I have been to other U-Hauls and have never experienced this ridiculous wait time.

EDWIN CI spent 20 minutes reserving a truck online uploading all required information for the driver who works for me and received a confirmation. My guys got there at 8:00am. I got a call at 8:30 that I had to personally pick up the truck even though I registered the driver who picked the truck up. I had to drive a hour to pickup the truck myself. I lost 2.5 hours of moving time and 180.00 in labor waiting for the truck This is the second time this happened . Going to rent from Penske from now on.

Overall we are pleased with this rental, I timely returned your truck,,and used APP to return your truck, during the summit process,my phone dies, due to your truck didn’t have a charging port. After I used my own car charging port to revive my iPhone,was trying to continue the process, I found that it’s completed. I just don’t want you to surcharge more.since I returned the truck exactly time.11:00 pm. Thank you
KEWEI LHave all the address ready for drop off, it took two days of wait to finally get a dope off near my home. When I was at the pick up location in PA, no one was able to find a different location from the ones they already had in file. At the end, everything was fine. Thanks.

Thomas TThe trailer was infested with live roaches. I had one day to move my daughter's items to college and no choice but to try and spray the inside with bleach, and wrap all furniture/clothes/items in garbage bags to the best of my ability. To my dismay, the bleach must have only made them temporarily scatter because when we arrived to unpack, the live roaches were still everywhere. We were both disgusted, embarrassed, and horrified.. If she infested her college dorm room from this experience, it will have life long consequences for her socially, and emotionally. Who would have thought that so many bugs can live inside a metal box
COLLEEN MI am very happy with the equipment and service. Had issues with the site getting errors on the website on my phone when i took the last picture. My only gripe is that i didn’t have a reservation but ohysicall went to this location for a cargo van. And the young lady said there were none available and all reserved. And i had to go to another town. And this was 100% incorrect. I called the 1800 number and spoke to a woman that said that there were vans perfectly available and she went ahead and made the reservation. I had left the location when i was first denied but then returned. And wasted time in the process. And the lady didn’t have a good answer. Something about not all the vans were working. All i knownis that i was late and a working staff gave incorrect information. And i feel lied to and felt i was just sent away. The 1800 person didn’t understand why i was told that. So my time was wasted in dealing with this. However i learned i cannot trust staff. I’d rather just make a reservation beforehand in order to do things timely. Shouldn’t be like that though. Other than that. Very happy with uhaul.

I had to call back to get assistance from Clever who was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond. Will not recommend doing storage at this location only renting a truck etc. I put helpful staff ONLY for Clever not Israel C

Walter deserves an even bigger pay raise. Thank you, Walter.

I was with Uhaul Hempstead for approximately nine years, and the mice issue has gotten worse. The rent increases every few months, and nothing has been done to correct the mice issue. The staff is excellent. The facility is cleaned but only cleaned to mask an issue.
