Usually I Never has a issue with the people working der they are all are nice but today the person who is der acting like funny not listen to me what I am trying to tell you can see my past orders I have paid lot of time extra without even using the truck just parking at uhaul for extra day Please take a look at my previous order as they charge me extra for gas and a day for just 1 hour late this is not fair being a valued uhaul customer from past few years

I disagree with the statement for contract 29058924 with the rental truck I picked up for $19.95 with 34 miles and insurance. I was charged an additional fee for Gas when I bought the truck back with more gas than I left with. Please credit me back the additional 27.00 and the tax on the $27.00. And why am I charged 5.00 for a safe trip fee when I paid $15.00 for Safe Move coverage?. Either reimburse me the $15.00 or the $5.00. Thank You Shirley Brockman

Excellent experience. The approach from the back of the building was a little difficult, but I don't think there's much that could be done about that. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely rent from there again.

This office pretended to be helpful with my storage unit and equipment return and baited and switched with storage unit. I will be moving out of the storage into the nearby competitor based on service charge and hosts of other disatisfactions.

This location provides exceptional service, except during periods of computer system outage. However, the staff consistently demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction and problem resolution. While the equipment is well-maintained, a malfunction occurred upon my return. Roadside assistance promptly addressed the issue, enabling me to return the vehicle to the drop-off location before a complete system failure. Mr. Juan exhibited exceptional understanding and empathy. I rate this location at 4.7 stars (450 Fulton Ave, Hempstead, NY).

Original pick up was in kings park switched to Holbrook switched to Hempstead.30 miles from my house.trailer sat on my driveway 3 days.when I went to leave running lights didn’t work.corroded connection under trailer.had to do temporary fix,I have picture.no complaints with any employees,your booking system needs improvement.

I returned the vehicle keys to a worker behind the front desk . The next day I received a voicemail asking if I wanted to extend my contract . When I called I was told they don’t have the truck. I informed them I gave the keys to someone behind the counter and they should review their cameras . Then they seen I did in fact return it BE MORE ORGANIZED .

Drop off was quick and easy. The only improvement that I would suggest is to greet the customer when they enter the store and let them know you will be with them shortly even if they are working with another customer at the moment. I stood waiting for about 15 minutes while one person was working with a customer and another person talking to someone he knew and then just walked past me without a word. It would have been nice to be acknowledged.

Passenger side mirror was not great. It was not position to show lane to the right of me and was showing the side of the truck. I had to use the small fisheye mirror below the main one when changing lanes.

The person who delivered and picked up my box was very helpful and on time. Everyone I dealt with in this end of the move was wonderful from scheduling delivery and pick up to the person doing the actual delivery and pick up everything went exactly how planned on this end.

Storage is sketchy, the after hours help line number never gets picked up, the staff is poorly educated and of no help. It seems like People are living out of the storage containers there and there are many sketchy characters there. I would not suggest this location to anyone. The manager will never pick up his phone. One of the access doors doesn’t work. Terrible location

excellent value overall. however i was expecting a much larger unit on the ground floor level to accommodate my very full 20 foot uhaul truck what i was offered was the same size as rvc had offered me. walter was knowledgeable and helpful. his assistant (?) was much less so ( may i suggest a pay raise to increase employee engagement and additional training on how to please and satisfy customers queries) what saved this deal ( we were going to go someplace else entirely) was that Walter sold me side by side units. Walter deserves an even bigger pay raise. Thank you, Walter.

The second floor storage was very inconvenient. I have never seen a storage that you had to climb steps to get to. This should be told to customers so they have the choice to choose something else.

The parking was not great. They are returned vehicles parked vehicles all over the place and employees parked close to the facility and impeded the removing of boxes from the storage. Hopefully management can do something about it.

I was always scared to go to this uhaul because their were so many complaints of rodents thankfully all my belongings were secure and upon move out no issues with rodents at all it was clean

The manager was terrible never answered or return calls. We had COVID last month and could not move out our stuff so we reached out no help at all. Highly don’t recommend

I can’t speak for every storage unit, but my storage unit had many mice feces. I was with Uhaul Hempstead for approximately nine years, and the mice issue has gotten worse. The rent increases every few months, and nothing has been done to correct the mice issue. The staff is excellent. The facility is cleaned but only cleaned to mask an issue.
