JAVIER HPlease clean the vehicles. The vehicle I rented was crawling with roaches inside of it and many of them were inside of my belongings. They were within the AC vents and charger ports and the trunk of the vehicle. That must be taken care of as soon as possible.

OSWALDO JWhen I picked up the U-haul I was told that I could not use the credit card that was used to secure the reservation online. I had to use a card that I had in my possession that was one I did not want to use. I do not believe this was the clerks fault. He was pretty efficient. That was my only issue. Truck was ready and clean. Zero issues. Guy prepping the truck was great.

Dean BAfter the hitch was installed onto my vehicle I was not given the ball for the hitch to pull my trailer I already have paid for.I had to run around to get my ball for the installation of hitch wich should have already been there.

After confirming reservation at counter, the young lady went to get my appliance hand truck and after I came back from taking pictures of the vehicle and uploading to app I came back to get hand truck and the gentleman told me I never made the reservation for equipment. However that morning the male attendant was stressed because they had overbooked reservations and was calling customers deferring them to go to another location due to their inability to track inventory. In a monotone voice I tried to explain i needed to move a refrigerator and was told again I never made the reservation. Meanwhile the whole time the female attendant was no where to be found. The male attendant didn't even have my reservation up. When I offered the fact that it could be that their system had a glitch he became very emotional and insisted I was disrespectful for offering that opinion. I advised I was only suggesting a glitch and again he said stop being disrespectful. Is this the way UHaul trains employees. This was a poor way to manage a mishap on their part and someone that doesnt belong working the counter. It was at that point that I wondered how this male person was employed without training on minor conflict resolution. I said ok think you and walked out. Thinking back when the female attendant was confirming my reservation it took almost 10 minutes to complete my order. One has to wonder if the reservation was altered to remove the hand truck because my payment was less than my quote when I originally confirmed online.

Debbie B | Overall ExperienceI rented a trailer with a ramp from U-Haul to empty out my storage building. The trailer had many tie down points to keep the load secured and the ramp was deffently worth the few extra bucks.The U-Haul employe connected the trailer to my truck and chacked to make sure all lights worked proprely. When I returned the trailer he disconnected everything and I was on my way in no time. This is deffently the way to go if you are like me and only need a trailer a couple of times a year.
JOHN CWhen checking the lights on the trailer, ensure the renter has done the function such as depressing the brake pedal before you say the lights came on.
Nathaniel MWould be nice to be greeted where I'm a customer/potential customer. They both seemed uninterested that a patron was visiting their establishment. We have a "Beat the Greet" motto at work with our members where are to reach out before they do.

JUAN BThe scheduling of appointments is not flexible. I scheduled for 1200. I arrived at 1245, which is 80% of the fleet East Oak at the yard. The customer service representative made it look like I was late and probably would not have a truck available, which wasn't true. So, in general, everything went well. But I didn't like the way that was handled.

Jean LThe man that handle my checkin did a great job. I had a reservation and the trailer was there but it was behind other trailers and it needed to be cleaned out. Just a quick sweep. The young man who did this barely spoke 2 words and seemed more annoyed that he had to stop hosing down the driveway. Unemployment is low and good help is hard to find so I get it. I will use this location again if the need arises.

WALTER HThe overall design of this location is not functional. There are so many u-haul trucks around that it makes it hard for personnel to park. I arrived around 0950 to pick up the u-haul truck and there was a 4 people in line with more people coming in and 1 person working the front desk! The lady ended up working three computers to get people through the line but that is absolutely absurd on a Saturday to not have enough people. The weekends would seem like the busier times than any other. I waited 40 mins in line to get my u-haul. Check the data and ensure you’re properly staffed to the amount of check-ins/outs that weekend.

Once I logged in and was given the access code it did not work. So I tried calling the after hours number several times and never got a response. I sent multiple text messages and never got a response. We just traveled 8 hours, it was raining and there was no assistance offered whatsoever. Very poor customer service! Very disappointing and unacceptable.

I booked a “10x10x8 Split Level 1st Floor Upper Level Climate.” Upon arrival I was told that the unit I reserved and confirmed was not actually available. Instead, I was offered a similar size unit on the first floor, but was told it would be an extra $30/mo. I was then told the manager would speak with regional office in order to resolve the issue. I don’t think it’s fair for your customer to bear the burden of a faulty reservation system, especially since I called and confirmed my reservation the day prior to arrival. I am still waiting to hear back regarding a resolution. I expect U-Haul to honor the rate in my confirmed reservation which is attached. Thank you. Stephen R | First ImpressionsEverything outside the unit is good. Employees do their best and for the pay they receive I do not blame the lack of certain things. However I am uhaul employee (not at this store) and I am disappointed with uhaul. My mom rented one climate controlled unit and a regular unit and both units had rat feces which one couch got thrown away and all the bed mattresses as well of the amount of feces that was on it and it was shown to the employees before taking it out. When someone damages anything at uhaul, uhaul is quick to act but when a customers belongings gets damage they sure like to take their sweet time and redirect the call.

Eventually one of them said he could. He sent a link to my phone for me to upload my drivers license (takes legitimately 1min) and walked away. We found him playing on his phone. Our checkin took 50mins when at my last location it was 5min. 50mins for something that took me 5mins to move in.

I don't believe I own any late fee because I spoke with the manager about the date that I was moving my belongings out and I was told that I will not be charged. Because it was 3 days after the expiration date, because I was moving on that date.

Ronald R | First ImpressionsI enjoyed the facility a lot. I had over night access which helped me a lot because I used to get off from work late and run in and grab things when I was moving out. One thing I didn’t like was when the fees spiked after Covid. I relocated to a different state and was able to maintain the fees until may. I payed $236 for 6 months. And from may to June I had to pay my regular fee a late fee and a hold fee totaling to $225. The prices spiked up so much after Covid I had to come close my unit because it became too much to keep track of and my valuables were in my unit so I couldn’t bare to lose them. I was stuck in a yo-yo of prices with them. That was my only complaint the staff were so friendly and kind. I appreciate the staff and the courteous help I received during my time

As your staff at the stores are absolutely fantastic, your customer service, follow through, communication, organization, logistics on the phone and everywhere else is the down right WORST! The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. I was on hold for 2 hours and 45 min., transferred 3 times to simply scheduled a pick up for my ubox. You all lost my box. Ran me ragged looking for it. Finally found it ONLY to find out you were holding up your end of the bargain and delivering my box to my front door unless I pay an additional $400! I went ballistic!!!! No way was I paying that, after you all promised deliver was included in my price. No way! So I had to escalate it to a supervisor, who then escalated to someone else etc etc etc. FINALLY with enough complaining I got my box delivered as promised for free. Why did you all put me through that! I don’t need that additional drama! Don’t you realize how stressful MOVING is already all on it’s own! And you wanna add to it!!!! Why? Keep your word THE FIRST TIME AROUND!
