I have used your services several times and I like what you offer, but the last time I used one of your trucks, I had a bad experience. The cab had a terrible odor; I had to clean it because it was unbearable. Also, there was a constant squeaking sound while driving.

Check your truck you send them out, the truck had ran rough,was out of oil and breakdown on the highway. It needed to be towed and had pay my movers to not move without use of truck

Improve ?? My fault I didn’t check the back of the truck .But I went to pick up a pice of furniture which I now have to wash ..The back was covered in what I think was mulch on the walls ,floor everywhere..

I have been using the Jericho NY location for years, and the customer service is always excellent. From the in-person transactions at the sight, to the rep on the phone. That is why I will always use U-Haul. Keep doing what you’re doing.

The parking and delivery area is extremely tight! Very cluttered and I had to leave the trailer I rented in the most open and available spot. I did not see any personnel outside so I used the mobile app to complete my return.

We had ordered an appliance dolly for this move. When we arrived, we were told that there were none available and that it was not possible to keep track of these items. It seems to me that a bar code system could be implemented to check these items in and out. We were able to manage without the dolly, but it would have made life a little easier if we had it.

Equipment could be a little cleaner and you should never leave a customer with a gas tank at 1/4 full as it requires them to get gas prior to even packing the truck.

The 15’ truck was clean but had 150,000 miles with a loud exhaust and worn steering. I was only driving a short distance otherwise I would not have accepted it. I was surprised that Uhaul would not better maintain their vehicles.

The idea of only having a quarter tank of gas and return the truck w A quarter tank of gas is disingenuous and just another way to make out on the customer. It’s insulting to think I’m stupid. You always win w this requirement and the customer over pays because it’s impossible to return the truck at exactly a 1/4 tank so every one over fills the tank because there is no way of knowing when you have reached the 1/4 mark so you benefit on the additional gas

The first truck I was given broke down before I was able to get to get home. I waited several hours to get another truck as a replacement and that one also had an issue so I had to settle for a much smaller van and was not able to move fully after several truck issues and a long wait

Got an ‘ealert’ because reservation after mine had the same reservation number as me and representative at the counter told me that I probably owed money and they could not rent the U-Haul to me and they could not explain what the ealert was for and I had to call the number to find out what it was. He proceeded to tell me to call the number and he proceeded to give me the must his location-to which I told him you actually want me to call you and your location to find out what the issue was?end of the day i had to call the central reservation number to fix the issue-which took only 5 minutes to resolve. In total I was there for 1hour and was told I still had to bring back the before 130 pm. I showed up at 715 for a 730 reservation and I even checked in on my app. Did not get out of U-Haul parking lot until anger 8am.

When I dropped off the trailer the guy was great he was staying there where do you want it move the car told me to put it right there once I unhooked it and everything he says you're all done he had me checked in before I unhook the trailer like when that happens Good job

I was 35 minutes late to meet my movers because there was a random woman “Vanessa L” tied to my account who had an outstanding balance and the local truck company wouldn’t let me take out the truck until the “glitch” was cleared. I spoke to two agents, the first one hung up on me, before I could leave with a truck. It put me back at least 45 minutes and cost me an extra $100 with the movers I hired. Total pain and unnecessary and sloppy on UHauls part because of a “glitch.” Not cool. I’d like a refund from UHaul.

That storage place is a rip off the units are extremely small that location is not for furnitures the lady told me it’s like a two bedroom when I go there the unit small I had to get two different units she even told me the ceilings are tall nothing goes like that she mislead me n I’m so angry I named out on the phone all what I have n the lady said it will fit this is ridiculous thy need to stop telling lies to the customers

The staff was very helpful, both for storage and trailer. The issue was a terrible smell coming from somewhere in my row. When I first came, it was strong smell of urine or sour wet pet smell. The odor lingered the entire month, and even seeped into the fabrics of my unit. Many of my belongings now smell this way. For this reason, I would not recommend this location. May i suggest contacting other owners to inspect their units,as its probably coming from a unit.

Everything about this storage facility is great barring the fact that the storage facility has a very odd smell, especially when it's hot out. Also, I'm not 100% sure it's actually climate controlled. Beyond that, it was a fine experience. The people who work there are very kind and helpful.

Clean, well maintained. There is limited parking space in this facility, which is inconvenient: a trailer is parked in the parking space in front of the entrance to the storage units, only one person can unload at a time, limited space to wait with your vehicle

Found mice droppings all over our stuff and when we told the employee his reply was yeah thanks. We were not offered an adjustment for canceling our storage mid month.

The storage unit that I used started to smell like mold and mothballs. I left several messages with management and they never called me back. I would like a credit of one or two months. I have used the storage facility for over 10 years and I’ve spent well over $25,000. I looked back and it was obviously a tremendous waste of my money. The contents of my storage unit was may be valued at about $1000, so paying 25 times that makes no sense.

I just wish the person checking me in would have put my correct address in. I corrected him when he put the wrong address in and he said "it doesn't matter." Well the print out had the incorrect address on it and I imagine it does matter. So I corrected it myself on my online profile.

Not sure I would recommend to a friend because the parking lot is small. Many times when I was there to move items in and out, there were hitches parked in front of the doorway.

If I could give this facility 0 Stars I would. Reserved lower level storage unit that they gave to someone else who reserved after me. Dirty facilities. Nasty manager said “Don’t give her anything.”
