Excellent experience with trailer hitch installation. Everything from booking appointment through install was efficient, professional and right on time. Nathan did an excellent job and would highly recommend this location if you need a trailer hitch.

Why take the time to do everything on line to save time but when you get to uhaul to get your rental you have to wait in line behind people who didnt.

The pin was not right for the equipment

I’m very upset at my experience. I was given the wrong information about where the truck was located and was looking around for 45 minutes until I was chatting with U-Haul to tell me there’s another location on the other side. Then I get the truck and everything I ordered wasn’t in the truck. So I had to drive from Saugerties back to Kingston spending more money to pickup the dolly at least because I absolutely needed that. It turned my day to not being at all.

If you could experience difficulty with the truck I e, getting the key out of the ignition that the sales representative explain that to you. If you go one minute over your expected time to bring the truck in that you will be charged for a whole day. The sales person had a condescending attitude and I did not like it. I brought the truck back in with the needle right where it was when I rented it and she charged me for gas and said it was way I brought it back way under what the needle said that was not true. I will try to find another U-Haul location in the future.

The location is great for me, but I had to return the 10 foot truck to Kingston instead of Germantown. The whole round-trip rules you guys have needs to change.

Customer friendly, clean facility, big space to maneuver and clean equipment. They were very accomadating and understanding with me having to push back my pick up a few times.was also able to rent a tow hitch for $5 a day with my trailer

Nasty man at desk so rude and not helpful also truck was sticky inside and dirty and I was very nice to him 3 times in a row even at drop off 2 hours later and I paid 125.00 I didn't have to save my daughters stuff from being ruined outside. The app check in was great I went in because I couldn't find our truck outside it was a long distance away with 3 kids it was a little crazy and he just said oh it's out there keep looking like omg never again

Both times we came in for drop off and pick up, people behind the glass were so hidden and barely acknowledged us. No personality and acted annoyed that we were there. Absolutely no customer service. Your people should be a bit nicer when customers come in. Wasn't impressed at all.

Average because the storage unit itself was not particularly clean, and the first unit I looked at had a leak in it (they gave me a new one). It was also very low security with little space to turn around a truck. It wasn't so bad that I would say NO to any of the above questions. All good. Thank you.

The location employees did not come out at all at the check in to inspect existing damages on the truck. Instead they said we have to do it, take pictures of them and upload them in a link that was sent to us which was glitching. The site was also not allowing uploading more than four pictures when preexisting damages were more than that. The employee forgot to load the requested blankets. The trucks breaks were bad. The transmission gets stuck on over-revving.

I was pulled over by the police for having inoperable running lights. We tested the turn signals and brake lights yet the running lights at night were not illuminating. Not a great experience to be pulled over for it!

The trailer I rented had broken wiring. The person helping me noticed and immediately swapped for a working trailer. He made the connection, checked the lights and I was on my way. Super fast return as well. Highly recommend this location.

I was not told how to figure out the number of gallons to put into the tank to get to 1/2 full. The u-haul staff that checked me in explained the chart on the contract. I was in a hurry and did not read the fine print. It would be helpful to explain that at pickup. Otherwise, no complaints. Pickup went smoothly. :)

I can't think of anything. I picked up an auto transport trailer. The folks at the store hooked up everything for the trailer, and I was on my way in no time. When I dropped off, the same folks disconnected everything, and I was quickly on my way. Painless experience!

I told Nathan and team multiple times that the entrance gate was up. It remained up 24/7 for the last 4 months. This storage facility is not secure in the least. I also requested multiple times that the door to the unit be fixed because it could not stay open without being propped open. It was never repaired.

The measurements were inaccurate and they were unclear of the dimensions. I rented a 8 foot long by 5 foot tall by 5 foot wide trailer and when I was told the dimensions of the storage unit were the same it was 4’6 by 4’8 by 8 ft tall and had cob webs and leaves with trash outside of other units next to mine.

The male working Sunday was very rude and very unfriendly. The pretty young woman there was very friendly and helpful, I had rented a uhaul cargo van the day before as well as a 10x10 storage unit. I was there Sun to move my belonging into the unit. When I was done, I had stopped at the main office to get something from my personal vehicle the was parked there while I was renting the cargo van. I pulled into a parking space to stay out of the way of other things that were going on our would be going on. The male employee came up to my window very rudely and with an attitude and told me returns were over there. He never greeted me or acknowledged me. Or asked me anything at all. I told him I was not there to return anything, that my personal vehicle was there and I was retrieving something from it. At which point he said nothing and just walked off... He should have greeted me in some pleasant manner, he did not. He should have asked me nicely if he could help me. Again, he did not. Instead he approached me with and runde and very unpleasant attitude. I have worked in many many different jobs that had me in contact with customers and people in general, this is not how you approach them and treat your customers and the general public. I would like him made aware of his bad actions and have him re-trained in customer service. Other than him the other employees were great, from the young pretty female to the older gentleman and the heavy-set male employee. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Very easy and pleasant experience when they were there, bad experience with the male on Sunday.

While I was pleased with the way the staff treated me, I was appalled at the state of the storage unit. The four was left open when I arrived, which I thought was to ease my move in. However, I quickly discovered that the door was off the rails, and bent, making it difficult to close. Additionally, the unit was absolutely littered with trash, especially a ton of broken glass and ceramics. I expected it would have at least been swept and checked before I moved in. Had I known it wouldn't be, I would have brought a broom to clean up before unloading. The broken glass was a safety issue, and the damaged door is at best disappointing, and at worst will make accessing my belongings difficult.

When I moved out of the unit I went to the office to notify them I was on my due date when I moved out they were trying to make me pay for another month that my stuff wasn’t there they were very young courteous staff I had to explain to them blindly what was happening as far as maintaining those water leaks throughout the building the plywood has water damage and moose I think you need to look at the staffing in the maintenance staff of that building fixing problems and may be Relocate all the staff or re-train in better customer service

After a detailed phone reservation conversation about reserving a storage space, when I arrived at the facility they gave me the wrong size which I could not use. I had to scramble,in a strange town, to find another unit.

Gate was never locked, fence is broken in several areas and anyone could get into the facility at any time. Staff is super friendly and helpful and with the pandemic storage units have been hard to come by. Uhaul did the job. I bought a house and no longer need to unit. Thanks!

This facility had one large unit available according to their online inventory, I reserved it, and i paid for it upon arrival. Though there were only two free units left on the lot, the one I had reserved had mountains of garbage in it that had not yet been cleaned out, rendering moving in impossible. I did not move in to a uhaul storage facility, and am unlikely to try again. The staff arranged a storage unit reservation at another facility and that is the most I can say for my experience at Uhaul’s storage facilities.

Had a storage reservation for destination point and drop off point after my drive from Florida with a. 4x8 trailer. You didn’t hold my reservation and had no space available. I was told that’s a problem between your office and customer service who takes the reservation. No. That’s a problem for your customers.

Was not told till end of registration that I could not store my car. The paper work was reversed. But following Tuesday I received a late notice for my rental unit. Since the call to the facility was differed to a call center and I waited 40 minutes on two different occasions to no avail. I replied to the late email that I did not have any rental with U- haul Final received phone call from Kingston facility asking me if I had a storage unit at the Kingston location. I replied no I did not.
