I filled up the gas tank which cost my over $60 and I never realized how large the tank was because I only used a small amount. It would be nice to be paid back for the unused gas.

Rental truck was not available at the time of pick up. The previous person who had rented it did not return it on time. Nathan was very helpful and found another truck 45 minutes away and had someone go and pick it up for us. Go Nathan!!!!

The service provided by uhaul of Kingston was good; however, the moving help I hired through u-haul never came. I spent $850 dollars to hire movers at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. I need a refund.

The guys working today were fantastic, organized, appropriately masked and cautious during this pandemic, they had my entire job order entirely recorded and I had checked in online last night so our interaction was brief but streamline. Pickup took over an hour because the credit card machine was down. Waited and waited only to find out it was cash only. Went and got cash and had to move to the end of the line again. They did not have the truck I reserved and gave me a bigger one, supposedly at the rate of $19.95. They gave me the wrong type of dolly and the truck was a disaster. Mind you, I was paying movers by the hour while I waited. The didn’t close the back lock and the door flew open on the highway. After my move, I again had to wait an hour for them to check in the truck and settle my bill. Turns out they charged me the higher price for the truck. When I told the gentleman I was promised a lower rate for my inconvenience, he said he “wasn’t allowed “ to honor it. You people suck.

If you review all my surveys of U-Haul I always have the same comment. Vehicles are not clean, especially windows inside, wiper blades are worn. This truck was in need of an oil change (as displayed every time the truck was started). An average user might be concerned with that message. Myself, I didn't care. But it's another example of lack of quality.

Amazing service! Very courteous, accommodating and helpful. Changes to our original reservation were easy to arrange. They even let us drop off late for no extra charge. Only suggestion is to have a reminder to take your EZ pass!

The inside of the truck had a strong cigarette smoke smell. Luckily I could leave the windows open and sprayed the seats with Febreeze, but it was kinda gross. The staff is nice and the process went smoothly so no complaints there.

This location is always great! I apologize for losing the rental agreement, and not doing the final procedure on my phone; my phone actually died on the way back to the location, I thought it had plenty of battery power (31%). I hope I will be allowed to use this facility again when I move into my new apartment beginning of next month. I will follow the proper procedures when turning it back in

Deceptive fees!! I was charged $21 for an after hour check in but this was not explained to me at all! Also charged $7 bucks gasoline even though I refilled After an hour on the phone with customer service and speaking with general manager, the fees were eliminated! Terrible and very shady business practices


Allan was extremely helpful to get me underway in a very busy COVID-19 environment with a lot of people waiting. He hooked up the car carrier and ensured the lights worked. I will surely use this location again for my U-Haul needs. Minor item on my receipt: I had a 24 hour rental. Picked up at 9AM and dropped off at 7PM but the receipt said 9PM return. Return went seamless with the gentleman that helped unhook the trailer.. I did not get his name but very helpful. Staff is excellent!


The windshield was completely filthy. Shouldn’t be too hard to wash a windshield before you rent it to a customer. The wiper was torn which was metal on glass the whole time they were on. I dropped the truck off a day early and was not credited and I was told that I was getting 17 dollars back when I returned it and I find out later it was charged 17 not refunded! I was happy with the condition of the truck either the steering was terrible I assume a bad pitmin arm and tie rod or whatever but it swerved all over the rd. They really need to do better.

Well for one take accurate meager readings it is a good thing I take photos before I leave the uhaul facility and when I return , i drove 9 miles however because mileage was not taken correctly I was charged for 12 miles I want my money back !!

The guy behind the counter who completed my contact and hooked up the trailer was beyond friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have had some HORRIBLE experiences with uhaul in the past Due to customer service and i was willing to give you the company another shot. Thanks to him i will be returning as a customer

Check tire pressure. That was the only fault with my rental and it is a minor one. After completing the app login, getting my keys, and filling out the initial "how would you rate us" survey, I turned on the ignition and the dashboard reported the right front tire was low. I whipped out my bike pump and the staff was reasonably prompt at realizing I hadn't pulled out. They inflated the tire properly. I suppose, also, the app might have been more specific about where to get my key. Became obvious I needed to check in at the desk anyway. But truck was great, and well outfitted for the hauling job I had. I overestimated mileage but was billed only for actual. Cool.
