I’ve rented trucks from this location many times and there always professional and helpful. The staff that worked there today in the a.m. (Friday Sept 5, 2025) was courteous and friendly.

fix your website. I booked online and it said it was available at another location until after I confirmed everything and had a confirmation code. the next day I got a call saying there was nothing available where i booked. And request that U-haul person that calls people stop cutting customers off or trying to finish customers sentence. the location people were great. the online and phone people not so great.

Everything was great until I tried to return the trailer at midnight and found the lot completely jammed with vehicles and trailers left by customers. I was not able to leave the trailer anywhere resulting in me having to return at 7:30 in the morning and waiting for a space to be cleared. Staff was accommodating at that time. Perhaps a secondary drop off location like Midland could have been used with no penalty?? But great staff at pick up and drop off. Amazing.

Staff were great however Uhaul had changed my pick up location twice on me, causing my to add an extra hour of travel time on the moving day. Secondly, I received an email for pickup with two different times on it. Trying to get Uhaul to answer the phone was difficult.

This was the first time in 4 rentals that everything actually went well. The reservation was there in the system, and the staff was quick and courteous. Of course, the online system and the Android App were still useless. They haven't worked properly in over 3 years. Everything had to be done by phone. Overall a very experienced with this u-haul location.

I was surprised how early the cut off was for getting access to the storage facility when I first moved things into it. Other than that, the experience was very good. Staff were extremely helpful. Storage area was clean and well lit. I felt my belongings were secure. The parking lot area is extremely tight at this location.

1st 10 ft van’s gas level was marked incorrectly and the van’s transmission clunked in the UHaul lot so I swapped it out for a newer unit that was fine. Counter staff was helpful. I do not like the policy of fill up gas to where you found it. Impossible to top up gas to exact level so customer goes over the level to make sure no additional charges. This saves UHaul a TON of staff and gas money and time but is grossly unfair to customer. Change back to old days! Plus my reservation return day was incorrect and I returned it same day. I am requesting a reduction in cost because of two day charge when I only had it for less than 12 hours. Thanks.

the 6X12 trailer that I rented from this location was the smoothest uHaul trailer I have ever rented. everything worked as it should the surge breaks kicked in properly making the stops easier. The staff hooked and unhooked the trailer and helped with the checkin and checkout process it was seamless. I was in and out within minutes.

The guys working when we drops off were beyond amazing! I didn’t get their names, but it was August 4th around 2ish. The young gentleman who checked us in was just exemplary. His depth of knowledge, helpfulness, demeanour, and customer service was absolutely excellent- and some of the best I’ve seen in the last couple of years. Keep up the great work!

Some staff were argumentative and it was a struggle to try and retrieve items from our unit because the doors were blocked more often than not and when bring items in our out, we would consistently be told not to leave the doors open.

The staff at check and and check out were great. We went two evenings last week to pick up stuf from locker after work. The app said access to locker was 0500-2200 so we were there just before 1700. 2 nights in a row there was a heavier set lady working and she was outside and all she kept saying was is your access 24 hrs? She did not actually come up and have a proper conversation with us. Just basically speaking loudly out in yard. I was unsure of 24hr access but was going by app. She wanted name and locker number making us feel like we were causing disruption to something we knew nothing about. Not professional in sorting anything out or taking time to properly discuss. Locker location and acess and use of carts and the in/out using our code was otherwise just fine.

Arrived and staff was unhooking the trailer before I had even talked to them and where rude and ignorant towards me. 80 for storage and might want to measure you unit wasn’t 5x5 no notification about the over charges for unit never was informed about the 110$$ fee for the storage never got emailed until the day after !!!! Ask for area repe for the area and got we don’t know how it is ,,, used to work for U-HAUL and it was off the most rides people that I had ever dealt with A call form you would be better off then this thing

My storage locker was robbed twice. I lost around 2k worth of stuff (a bike, and some electronics). I have insurance on my Peterborough locker, so I thought I had insurance on this one because I didn't sign an agreement here until after I was robbed- so I assumed it was under the same agreement. Since I don't have insurance here, I'm just out of luck, and I lost all those possessions. No follow up from the manager, no credits given, they wouldn't even show me the video. The staff was nice, but largely ineffective, and didn't take any ownership over the problem. Honestly, the Peterborough U-Haul compared to Kingston is night and day in terms of quality.

I found one girl very rude and ignorant has no clues on customer care especially when we leave money into your paychecks, I was told I'd give that one extra day to remove a bed out of my storage facility they went and put a lock on it and I had to pay an extra month where I lost my keys on 16th had to get a locksmith then that my van broke down cost me $600 to remove my bed that includes the extra $100 fee for an extra month I did not need I went the next day to remove my bed out of the storage locker and there was a lock on the door and the gentleman would not remove it I told the girl never to speak to me again in the phone she speaks with I find some stuff including the manager extremely rude to the people who put a paycheck pockets the manager should have gave me the extra day to remove the bed then the locker would have became available to rent to others, I'm not impressed with the conduct of one girl and one or two staff members there they need to improve their customer relations8

Warn your customers on the lower level about the pipes that go through first go in I bang my head off the sprinkler system pipe and I got a little bit of a nasty bump on my head you should taste the paint all your pipes in the locker yellow with caution watch your head they have to go down to the hospital tomorrow I have a headache since

Didi not have a larger unit available as per rep mentioned the morning I visited. I would have appreciated a call to confirm it was the smaller unit and try to find two together. As I booked a truck I received one month free rental but that only applied to one unit not the second that was needed. I feel due to the amount of money I have spent with U-Haul, the second unit fee could have been waived for the month as well.

I paid for the storage unit, added items into the unit locked it and left. The next afternoon I return to the unit and find a lock from uhaul on the door that says I haven't paid my fee. So I proceed to front counter and show my receipt for it being paid and was let into my storage unit. This was very inconvenient to say the least. I do not see how paying 216.00 is worth being locked out of my unit the next day, this needs to be remedied or I will leave the facility and find somewhere else to use for storage. Is anyone going to make this better ?

when working/sorting things in our storage unit 1813, the hallway light often went off and made it pretty dark in there. wish the sensor lights stayed on a bit longer. I also found it a bit challenging accessing the entrance for unloading/loading. Access cards would be so much handier than walking-in the main office when staff are often so busy or not available.

I am disappointed. I am being harassed with emails and mails about bills that I didn't incur. I only used 1 storage space and I exited the space before it was due and I'm getting bills for another storage that your staff mistakenly added to my account. Please stop harassing me with bills and talk to the staff at the Kingston location.

Hello, The Storage unit was clean and I did not have any problem. But for three months they were charging me extra money and the manager instead of fixing the issue was insulting me that they did not charge me extra money until I called Uhaul customer service and they open a case for me and fixed the issue. When I was at the location everything was amazing. Wonderful staff and very clean place. I had trouble contacting the office. I live 7 hours away so needed to speak to someone at the facility. I called at least 40 times at different times and no one ever answers the phone. It goes to the call center. The wait time can be an hour to speak to someone and then they are unable to answer the question because they are not at the facility. I even tried speaking to my local uhaul to see if they could get through. The answer was no. Even though it is a pandemic, I think the local phone should be answered. Thanks

Confusing as to why the u-haul system requires 3 phone contacts and 2 addresses to rent a storage room. Alternatively phone contacts I understand, but a 2nd address does not make sense. Staff was very helpful in the setup process overall!

The parking lot is often difficult to maneuver; sometimes the rental trucks and trailers almost block the entrances to the storage unit area. This makes it hard to park close to load and unload.

Overall U-Haul storage facilities are great. Clean, secure and welll maintained. I never got the after hours code so I was not able to access the facility. I only need this once so not an issue.
