Staff should orientate renter to equipment. Took me a long time to release the brake. I walked to the van alone and drove off. Then I was called and asked to return a van that was returned early, same day of rental, and have the receipt. Sloppy administration on this one. Your staff needs better training no doubt. Then received yet another email receipt. Just sloppy and does not reflect well on a local, but franchised

The Boat and RV storage location, 670 Old Nashville Hwy, LaVerge, TN 37086 was NOT acceptable. When I made the reservation, it was closest to my house, had two available reservations 430 and 445 and closed at 5. I took the 430 spot but encountered heavy traffic and arrived at 440. The elderly receptionist said the owner didn't handle Uhaul after 430. I explained the Uhaul website indicated they didn't close until 5 and there was an appointment left at 445. She clearly didn't know anything about handling Uhaul reservations, so I called Uhaul and a very nice young lady helped me find the other location. Mom and Pop shops are fine but this boat storage location is clearly NOT. I plan to leave a review as well!

John PI had a great pick-up and drop-off experience with the staff both times, and I was able to buy some extra boxes I needed. The staff was very friendly. The truck absolutely reeked of garbage. I kept it 24 hours and gave it lots of time to vent, but the smell barely lightened. It was really funky. It was gross to load my entire house into a trash truck.
LAUREN RI was issued a truck for towing a food trailer and the truck's light attachment did not work and I had to leave my food trailer in another city . I was not aware of it when I picked the truck up because the trailer was not with me . I now have to figure out how to get my trailer home at another expense. Very disappointed.

I didn’t have to lift a finger. I was given help picking up and also on the return which was very much appreciated! Both young men were very courteous and nice. Would definitely recommend this location for any rental service.

Seth SI dropped off at this location charged me extra $180, for 1 extra day. Before I dropped off asked them how much for the extra day , they told me $40. When I dropped off they says I supposed to drop off at 12pm instead of 2pm so charged me 1 extra day and $50 cleaning fee which is i already cleaned. I explained to them due to the snow storms from AR to TN they still don't care. DO NOT go there. Still the total should be $130 + tax, somehow charged me 180 dollars.
SAI ZI am still waiting on security footage, one of the STAFF, stated he would check the security footage on the late evening of 02/27/25, and get back with me. I believe the moving company I hired left some things in the last storage, and went back for it, he left the other storages cleared left locks laying on the floor, but put a lock on the last storage that I swepted out and gave picture to staff, Moving company guy had left lock on storage, we where curious, why would you go back, to the storage that you emptied out.

Most people would like to get in their truck and go use it for whatever purpose they had rented it. I dislike having to get fuel and guess how much I should put in to make my trip, especially for shorter trips. I ended up turning it in with more fuel than when I picked it up because it was a guessing game. Not happy about that.

DALON DMoving is stressful and I did a visual inspection of a 26' truck. Only after the helpers arrived that we discovered a serious urine smell at the nose of the truck. This ended up making mattresses, clothing, and upholstered furniture smell to the point that I had to replace them.

We actually wanted to pick it up sooner. He didn't say be there at exactly 4. We get a call that we were 15 minutes (4:15) late and that if we weren't there soon our reservation would be given away by 1 hour. We race there only to be told they didn't even have the truck we reserved. (Even though they had 2 of them sitting in parking lot) She then said you can rent a bigger truck...she said she couldn't change the amount. It would cost more. I was not happy with any of it. It took an hour or more to get the truck, we were late getting to dealership (they closed before we got there). The girl had no sense of urgency. She just kept leaving the counter walking away with her phone. I asked why would you call us to get here right away, when you didn't even have the truck we reserved? Would not recommend using this place to rent a uhaul.

It seems as if you breathe wrong there’s going to be some sort of unhidden fee. I think I spent an hour alone just putting my code in for the doors to open. This layout isn’t very helpful either it seems the bigger storage units are on a different floor. Last but not least nobody is on the same page there. I would be informed one thing then told something else. It was just chaos which was frustrating on top of the move itself.

We got our adjustable bed frames out on December 28th and handed the keys to the Hispanic male after we were measuring the door opening on a 5x8 enclosed trailer for my nephew that wasn't wide enough, shook hands and thought all was well and moved on. Only to start getting calls and letters about our unit being due a payment. We had no unit, nothing stored, thought everything was done and closed out. Your staff should do their job, you can easily pull the codes and cameras to see we vacated and never returned and even the interaction with the man where we relinquished the unit and were done. The harassment and unprofessionalism is despicable and we will never trust U-Haul with our business again.

They also offered a discount for multiple unit rentals which helped since I rented three for 6 months. The facility is also on an I-24 frontage road, making it easy for my movers to deliver and pickup my household goods. The facility could have benefited from a second freight elevator. Move in and move out were somewhat hampered by elevator availability.

I am pretty sure that’s her job but she sat behind the counter on her phone as she told me it was now the customer job. I think that’s full of crap. The facility stayed cleaned. Great location if you need something stored but staff is terrible and they are all suppose to be new hires the previous staff was bettter. It took uhaul corporate 3 months to handle my uhaul Truck rental dispute due to the lies and late charges they gave when I had pictures for the gas meter that I refilled the tank.
