The rental return went very well. They had the auto carrier off my truck before I got out of the office. So I was VERY pleased on the return end.

ALVIN MAbsolutely nothing! Great service from making our reservation, to picking up our truck, to checking it back in when we were done. Outstanding service by everyone!
DAVID OCheckin process was poor. It was after hours return and automatically charged for extra items. There was an option for "I don't agree with charges" - it let me select this and enter why I disagree, but then wouldn't allow the process to continue unless I cleared this out and paid the charges. Not sure if this is a problem with the app, or just really poor customer service. I should not have been charged anything additional.

I returned it with 1/2 tank and was not given a credit for the additional gas but I was charged $54.00 because I returned the truck 1 hour late. I think I should get a credit for the gas or you should have the trucks full when they are picked up and not required the renter to try and guess how much gas needs to be added to make it the same as when it was picked up.
RONALD KThe only complaint I have is that the hand truck and moving blanket are still in the truck if you opted out of additional supplies for the rental. They are in the way and a bit inconvenient. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the truck got me from A to B!

ERIC GThe location was great and I have no problems with them. The mobile system however was absolutely a mess. While I appreciate the effort to make a more seamless process to avoid the line and self serve, the instructions did not tell me I needed to do any verifications and license scanning didn't work at all on my device. Uploading the picture took multiple attempts which took considerable time. The verification system was not in the instructions at all. I would have used my passport if indicated anywhere. Instead I provided contact info to people who had no idea that they would get a call and thought it was a scam. All in this process was estimated to take 10 mins and easily took 20. I would recommend also changing the "view from the truck" as that was really unclear. I will also add that I am in my mid thirties and had these issues - I would expect that anyone in my parents generation would struggle with this model, and if I were a few years older probably wouldn't have the patience for this. It certainly will weigh on decision to rent from uhaul again.

Management apparently knows that there is a glitch in the online reservation system, and takes no responsibility for the issue. This should be addressed. I recommend calling to verify that you’re actually getting what you reserve before driving up there.

Although my unit was on the second floor it couldn’t have been easier to load and unload my things with the abundance of carts and oversized elevator as well as the garage that you can pull right into. At the other facilities I currently have my belongings in, one of them has a step up to get in and out of the building making using carts (if you can find one) as well as moving furniture in and out impossible. The other location has 3 carts for the whole location, which means waiting your turn for a cart or hunting through all their building hoping to find one. I have been dealing with Uhaul of Lake Wylie for 3 years now and Lydia and Mike go above and beyond for their customers! Can’t thank them enough for all of their help!
