I rented an auto transport trailer and brake fluid reservoir was completely empty. Because of that the trailer would slam forward when braking and slam backward when accelerating.

Rates online for same day trailer were $14.95, employee then charged me $47.00 when I arrived. When I asked why the extra bump in charge, they responded it’s because they cannot take cash. This did not explain the cost more then doubling. Overall very upset with the unreasonable charges.

The wheel holders for the front end did not work!! Had to have road assistance come fix. Road assistance worker was absolutely 💯 amazing!!!

I reserved the trailer in West Dundee, IL. When I arrived I was told that it was switched to Lake in the Hills, IL as there was no availability in West Dundee. I was not told this. Drive out of my way because of this. When I told West Dundee I thought I deserved a discount, they agreed and said they would communicate this to the other store. Other store refused to provide a discount or take any responsibility. Upon return they wanted me to unhitch the trailer and were ride when I told them “no” Awful Customer Service. Makes me want to go back to my old rental provider.

Not the original location I had chosen to pick up the truck. I was moved to this location which was ok but I don't recall seeing a warning that this might happen at the time of booking. But, the entire transaction was smooth. I appreciate the convenience of the many locations.

I delivered the trailer just after they closed. I had to park it with the trucks.. the small trailer space was too narrow for me to navigate and the trailer was too heavy for me to maneuver. Sorry.

The manager Chris and the staff employee Matt were very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The experience was professional from the start to the return of the trailer. vehicle was mechanically good for over 100,000 miles... Drivers door difficult to close then loosend as driving causing a major air leak in the door gasket

So many hidden and unnecessary charges. It would have cost me less if I would have choose a private contractor. Also, the representative didn’t allow to rent for a couple of hours. Instead she insisted that the truck can only be rent for a day.

I wish your trucks had usb outlets to charge phones. No one carry’s the cigarette lighter adapters with them. Thank you for moving the truck closer to the building though.

When I received the truck, it had only 1/8th of a tank of gas. I would have liked a full tank of gas so that I didn't have to refill it untill right before I returned it. My plans changed while I was using the truck, so I ended up having to add gas twice in very small amounts. VERY, VERY annoying. You know that I am going to be driving the truck around, just put some gas in it! Take about a terrible experience for your customers. (But it probably works out great for you charging above market rate for gas.). I drove the truck 82 miles and added 7.5 gallons of gas, yet uhaul still figured out how to charge me $22 for gas at the end of the rental. Crazy.

We have rented from Uhaul in the past and have rarely been disappointed. This experience was no different. The staff was extremely helpful during the rental and return process. I'd highly recommend this location to anyone for their future moving needs.

Coffee was spilled all over inside of passenger door and on floor which I showed to a girl who works there before I left with van. She offered to have it cleaned but I had to leave. Also, van should be parked next to building when customer comes to pick up. Instead it was parked in lot about a block away with the $19.95 sign on windshield which I had to remove. I've been renting vans from U Haul for years if you would like to check my history.

One suggestion: Bring the rented vehicle up to the office entrance for the customer so that the customer doesn’t have to trek across the frozen snowy parking lot to go find the correct vehicle.
