My transaction was excellent. The trailer was ready for pick up , in good condition with new tires . My stay in the store was just a few minutes . The person helping me was polite and competent. Upon return of the trailer I was asked to return it to where I picked it up which I was happy to do . This store did not disappoint in it's services .

There was no moving cart in the truck that we reserved and we had to search the lot to try and find our rental truck. We finally had to ask a worker on the lot. Our truck was low on oil too. Otherwise it was ok

U haul services were horrible. I reserved a truck and when i got there to pick it up, it had not been assigned to me… talked to customer service for over a half an hour and they were unable to find me another truck … was then sent to an actual uhaul location where i was able to pick up a truck 2 hours and a half hours later then my original pick up time… if put me completely behind schedule in my move… very disappointed …i will not rent from uhaul again

This location would be ideal for a U-Haul location. They had equipment that I needed and even though I was returning I made me think about how I can’t wait to be able to rent from this location in the future. The Sales associate was very, nice and thought of the rental and Knowledgeable for the return and he even asked how was the pick up. He need to train up coming associate for very GREAT Customer Service!!!!! Can’t wait to rent from U-Haul from this location. And I will refer all friends and family to this location. I have been able to refer 3 ppl already for this location.

I got the truck on E but yall expected me to put gas in it? I’ve never gotten an empty tank moving truck before…so if I had a long was to go y’all would really expected me to put gas in it right?? At least a half a tank of gas should be put in these trucks because thery’re NOT small cars…

My reservation included pads for my furniture and I didnt recieve any when I picked up the vehicle. It wasn't a huge problem but it make a big difference when loading and transporting everything.

Overall, my stuff was safe, but there was definitely a mold problem, dead bugs migrated into units, and whoever sprayed was definitely overzealous, damaging some of my boxes. Happy I had a place to trust in Detroit, though, but other than the owner, the staff was very one dimensional towards the end. My arrival was wonderful, though. A lot of sway in quality from day to day. Also asked for help with hooking up equipment and was told there would be a charge. Three other uhauls state that was a part of the service. Interesting.

The truck I was assigned to was very nasty and dirty, and it also had a smell to it. I asked for it to be clean and it was just air sprayed out the truck drive very bad

Both the general manager and the front desk attendant were so kind. The front desk attendant spent time joking with me and another customer (who was also amazing). Made me feel comfortable when my anxiety was up from the move. This transition has been scary, so this was a really good start to my move, especially moving my whole life across states. Was also able to use the access garage for almost 3 hours to move my entire truck on my own, which was incredibly helpful. No complaints. So much better than home. I’ll be using the facility for a while, so hope to see the employees here on a regular basis.

Elevator needs to be fixed asap and the motion lights on 2nd floor around 3011 unit. You have to walk down to the end for light to motion on only for a few seconds. I wish I could have changed buildings.

Honestly I been there for 6 years it’s been good besides them always raising my rent every 6months which sucks I started off at 80$ then cancel my storage after them tellin my stuff goin up to 120$ not including the taxes the staff at the Lincoln park rude takes forever to help you and when they do they have attitude. But I can honestly say the general manager there is a great guy Kevin help me and was very nice n try make me happy the best he could after I had a problem with one of his front desk guys there but Kevin a great manager if I ever decided to go back there which I hope never but it would because of Kevin thank you again.

The whole crew was very good and very helpful to me, I had no problems at all. The young men would always ask me if I need help moving my stuff in or out of storage and the older man helped sign in and the young lady that helped me when I returned my uhaul she was very helpful, so overall I was very happy.

My unit had a lock on it and I wasn’t offered a alternative even a larger unit or a smaller unit nothing. The door that you have to go into has no lights so basically somebody could be standing there and you wouldn’t even see them. I didn’t feel comfortable because the door is in a alley with no lights. Had only one employee working the Dass had once I found that my unit had a lock on it I had to wait over a half an hour for service.

Thank God for your staff person, Free. She was the one shining light on this entire process. The computer system was so slow that even though my vehicle was pre- reserved/registered, it took nearly 45 minutes to process my vehicle/ storage rental. The App continually went down so I could neither verify pre-rental or do the online return. Again Free was there to assist. I needed a larger storage unit than you had available and needed to move to another facility.i also needed a second truck. Dealing with the second location and with 800 rep was so frustrating. The unit I reserved online was not actually available. I was actually sent to yet a 3rd location but gave up and located a closer facility operated by a competitor. (I couldn't get a call back to verify that the unit was indeed available). We were able to return to the Lincoln Park office to return our trucks and again I have already been here 40 minutes awaiting my return documents (and refund for the unneeded lock). BUT: Free has apologized for the delay and is doing what she can to help me. (While teaching all the other team members?) I can only imagine what a dynamo she would be, if the technology could keep up with her.
