The lady working in the morning I picked up the vehicle was short worded, rude, and didn't explain everything to me in a nice way. She made me feel like I was imposing on her time. I was very confused on the rental rates. Sorry! I even had to remove the large sign in the window myself. I brought the sign in to the building and she was no where to be found. So I left it by the displays. l will never rent from U-Haul again. Thanks for a crappy experience.

Was charged twice for a trailer rental. Contacted the location that I rented the trailer from she was RUDE AND UBIQUITOUS arguing with me saying that they did not charge me twice and that it's not a UHAUL problem it's my debit cards company problem and then HUNG up on me

Average customer service. The truck was dirty and baged up with none of the dents and damages reported. The staff found ways to charge me even though I used the BARE MINIMUM of their services. I hope to NOT have to use this company again as the promote minimalism.

Do not try to send a customer from downriver to w.baltimore. there is a very good location on fort st. Just north of outer drive in Detroit. When you ask for our zip code and it's 48146, that should tell you your closest facility. Convenience for your customer means a lot.

Don't put the trailers all the way at the end where only experienced truck drivers will be able to get truck + trailer out of the narrow 90-degree turn. Put them by the gate, where it will be much easier to hook up and head out.

On a Saturday, you only have one person behind the counter. There was a line waiting to rent. The clerk was friendly, but, it seems like that process can be improved. Plus, the cycle time for each person is long. I did pre-registration and check-in in advance, and I still waited 20 minutes. Plus, they made me walk the entire length of the parking lot back and forth to get the furniture pads I rented. No coordinated effort there at all, even when I approached both employees about it. And, finally, the woman outside who was helping to hook up the trailer to my truck was not at all friendly, plus she was on her cell phone the entire time while hooking up my trailer. Just a disappointing experience.

On 4/8/19 I rented truck. The only small issue I had was gauge for gas and computer generated of truck gas level was not the same. The truck was empty when I picked it up. I was told to bring back on 1/4 tank (I took pic with phone) but computer generated had it marked that it was less than 1/8. Well, the truck gauge shows 5 areas (empty, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full. If the needle shows just a bit over 1/4 according to truck gauge, then the input from computer should be same unless the gauge is that of the truck. It just make sense to have computer and truck gauge match to avoid this type of confusion for customer. But overall everything and staff were fine, Also, truck could have used a tune-up. K.Jackson

I called the day after I had the truck to see why the price was $172 instead of the estimated $47. The girl at the Lincoln Park store went OFF on me like I’ve never heard in my life. I came into the store the following day, spoke to the store manager, and she got personal with me and told me to get over my cancer diagnosis, said to be grateful instead of dwelling on the past. I told her I had just went back to work after being gone for a year and a half and I had to spend my lunch hour getting yelled at by her employee. To top all this off, I called 1-800- uhaul to report this, the lady on the phone said she was going to report this to the president and call me back the next day. I still haven’t heard back and it’s been 6 days. I have the incident at the store recorded and I’m thinking about releasing it on my Facebook page to let the public know what kind of company runs like this. I’ve NEVER been so disgusted in my life.
