The online scheduled us to pick up a truck in Midland texas. The day before we were to pick up the truck we received an text stating that we would have to drive to another city to pick up the truck. This pushed us out more than 2 hours and around 60 miles out of our way. Then when we arrived the the store told us that they didn't have a teuck that we could use. So we were forced to rent a bigger truck that costed more. Then it took another hour to clean and get the teuck ready. Several hours late then we had to drive back to Midland to pick up the car hauler. With more time lost. We ended up working until late in the night because we lost more than half the day trying to chase down equipment. Then when we returned the truck I received an email stari g they wanted more money because of additional al mileage on the truck. This is the last time I use ubailul!!

JOSE LThey seemed to be a little short handed and I called the facility directly to ask if I could simply delay my pickup time and they had to put me on hold until she finished with another person. I asked real quickly if she could just take my name and delay my arrival time from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. She said, no, you will still have to hold. I was in the oilfield dealing with an issue and was unable to hold. I called back immediately and was forwarded to the National U-Haul line and she made the change for me immediately! They only had one person hooking up the trailers and he was in the restroom taking care of business…. Since I had been pulling trailers of all types for many years I had it hooked up and ready to go by the time he got there to check the lights…. The trailer performed as expected and was easy to pull! Trip was uneventful and we had no issues!!

ENRIQUE AYour website gives one total for the rental and the price increased at the location. Would not take part payment on debit card and part payment in cash! Had to go to several places to get cash. Was going to pay all cash and they wanted an additional $100.00 for a deposit on CASH??!!! The PRICE on your website should be the exact price as at the location!!!!

KEVIN PThe whole process was just beyond annoying, from one person telling me I cant rent a uhaul because I have an out of state license, but people move all the time so she made my experience more stressful. The next lady let me rent the uhaul with 3 contacts to call, she was nice and welcoming, so I very much appreciated her.

KEVIN LThey should properly inspect the equipment before giving it to customers. I picked up an auto trailer today. I drove all the way to my daughter’s school and loaded up her car onto the trailer. When I started to strap down the car, I saw that one of the straps were damaged. It couldn’t even strap down the front tire. So I had to unload the car and drive all the way back to U HAUL to switch trailers. I got another trailer and drove back to the school. I loaded up my daughter’s car again. This time one of the ratchets in the front was damaged. I had to really force ratcheting the strap. After a while I was able to strap down my daughter’s car. Just properly check the equipment please.

TYRONE YI stood in the location for over 30 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. The person checking the truck in when I dropped it off was no where around. They didn't check the truck in for 3 days after I dropped it off. The woman who called me the first time should be fired. The manager was ok but not professional at all and was demanding more money.
Dale WThere was something all over the INSIDE of the windshield. I would expect that uhaul would at least make sure the windshield was clean to ensure safe driving. It looked like maybe the windshield was replaced as there was tape on it still but could tell it had been there for awhile.

JAMES FFirst thing, I had reserved a dolly . When picking up the truck I was told that they didn't have one which put me in a predicament. Secondly the truck had issues. The transmission kept slipping making it a pain to drive. Plus the driver's door would not close properly.
SUZANNE BThe employees on staff are doing their best. There is always a short staff issued at this location, which is a very strong trend in Midland. They are doing great with what they can.

WENDY CManager first asked my business partner as we were walking in the door of he was a Bobby McWilliams a customer she was looking for that had one of her trucks. Reassured her he was not. Did all the paperwork then couldn't find the key to the truck we were supposed to use, so had to two the paperwork, got key and she said for us to keep an eye out for a truck and trailer that had not been returned. We had to extend our reservation and I believe that she added fees and an extra day to my bill because of that, we did have the truck back and filled past the mark we got it at back on time. When returning the truck she was very short with us and snappy.

RICHARD VAfter all the problems I had with all of this I would not recommend this whole thing to any one ☝🏼 The guy that was not helping me was more helpful than the girl who was that all she could do was talk about how she is hurt and how her boss is dumb for telling the dr she can listen to her workers comp. And that she shouldn’t even be on the computer or standing a hour and how bad of a boss her boss is.
KASEY FAssociate did not connect the trailer lights properly, the light connections were damaged from being ripped out of the 4 pin connector while turning just after my pickup time. I had to drive across Texas with no trailer lights as I had no time to turn around and get another trailer for my move. I brought the light issue up to the associate that the lights were going to be damaged and with how they were hooked up and I was informed “this is how she always does it”. I was very unpleased with the attitude from the associate and don’t believe I will be doing business with U-haul in the future.

Alma MIt was fine, though I feel like I had to answer a lot of questions I’d already answered when I made my reservation. Also, I made the reservation well in advance…I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect my add ons like dolly and moving pads to be loaded. Maybe turn off Star Wars playing in the office and do your job. Also, I had my pickup location changed on my 3 times. What’s the point of a reservation if you’re not going to honor ALL elements of it.

RICHARD KThe trailer hitch was superb, but there didn't seem to be any shock absorption. I had to slow down on hours of bad roads in New Mexico, often to 40 mph. That made a 7 hour trip into a 9.5 hour trip.
MARK SThe whole U-Haul experience was a plus the employees did a great job. The only thing that was unsatisfactory was the fact that the air conditioning did not work thank goodness it wasn’t 100° outside

Been using Uhaul for 45 years, loyal customer. Hasn't always been easy, but it does always work out.
