Ordered 60 pads and only had 12, and was not notified in advance. Had to drive across town to get more, not acceptable!!

DENNIS CI stood in line for 30 minutes; I had a reservation and movers scheduled thru U-Haul. 2 customers that were ahead of me had no reservations and walked in on a busy Saturday looking for rentals. While it is ok to help these folks find alternatives, leaving somebody with a paid for reservation in line indefinitely is unacceptable. Then a lady working there said she would pull the truck around for me. After another 15 minutes, she never came back and had my key. I ended up having to track her down in the parking lot and found her talking to somebody. I also had booked the reservation about 5 months in advance, and had rented blankets….come to find out they had no blankets and heard they gave them to some guy who had picked up a rental as I entered the building.

DAVID HTT assisted us & was amazing! She was so thorough! She explained everything to my husband and me- but I also heard her interact with two gentlemen in line in front of us. When I inquired, she offered that she had been with U-Haul for about a year. I couldn’t believe it. She appears so seasoned and knowledgeable. She was helpful, professional and pleasant Finally, you should know that the phone rang while she was helping me. She promptly answered the phone and ASKED the person on the phone if it was ok to put them on a brief hold. I was very impressed with her request of the caller- as so often staff will place you on hold without an inquiry or a choice. Just wanted you to know what a gem you have on your hands in TT.
PARIS PThe two men who helped me that day were so nice. I needed a quick, last minute way to move a couch and they made it a smooth experience.

SEAN GI rented the truck on March 9,2025 & returned the truck 1/2 full, clean etc. on March 9,2025. My receipt with my signature is for $78.44. I checked my bank account on March 15, 2025 and $390 plus was drafted from my bank account as if I had the truck for 6 days. That is incorrect, I called and was told to call back March 17, 2025 to speak to a manager. This should not have ever happened!!!! Scamming people.

So I was stuck having to move by myself. When I went to cancel the moving help. The app would not let me cancel at the last step.

The garage is sometimes locked, when it should be opened when the store is opened .

Then had issues with gaining access to my storage after hours. I called left a message and texted “the GM” several times, because it clearly says call or text her for after hour issues, NO RESPONSE.. I have another storage at another location always great customer service and if you call the after hours number somebody responds within 2 minutes EVERYTIME!!

I believe that my monthly rental rate had at least doubled from the time I first started leasing the smallest 5x5 storage unit(July 2021) at $35 per month,which in 2 years increased to $70 by November of 2023 . It is an insult to my intelligence that you would think I’d want to continue to rent that small of storage place at that price.Plus , I thought I was treated very rudely by your store office staff in just trying to exchange one of your moving boxes when it was found to be damaged after a purchase. You have earned nothing but bad “word of mouth” from me as far as storage rental services goes. I vacated my space away to a lower priced competitor just yesterday (1/11/24) and I am so relieved to be done with UHaul price extortion now.

I received two (2) phone calls saying that there was not lock on the unit; this was the week AFTER I had put the lock on it. One of these calls, the second one was BEFORE 7 am which I did not appreciate. I then decided that since I had not put anything in the unit and did not need it after all, that I would go get the lock which I was told was not on the unit anyway and turn everything in. By this time, the code I had not longer worked so staff had to come and let me in so I could get the lock which WAS on the unit after all. I then turned in the lock, keys and paperwork. After all this, I will probably look for other storage options in the future.

The young man, who was friendly enough, originally told me, the lock and such should be inside my unit, when I had not even been assigned a unit yet. After he took all my info again, which most I had given online, he said he had “checked me in” and gave me my paperwork and told me I could go in through “either door”. I had no idea where “either door was, where the facility was, and he was too busy to explain further. After finally finding my way, I go in and alarms sound when trying to access my unit. I go back to a very long line trying to “get to” this only person in the shop, which is about to close in an hour. I had already wasted an hour just trying to get to my storage unit!! So I just say to him, “alarm goes off every time I try to get into my unit”, and he explains that “I have to check in” before going in to either door, which he had told me earlier that he had checked me in. It was confusing. When I went back another customer had experienced the same confusion, having to go back and clarify. Uhaul clearly needs more help at this facility during their office hours to help their customers navigate, especially their first-time customers, and to help the long lines!!
