I would sooner recommend the Kingsgate location where I got my truck from because of even better customer service (not that the Caldwell location was bad.)

The UHaul app is horrible plus by the time I was able to access it, was way past my pick up time and there was a 20’ truck parked in front of the one that was issued to me so I had to hunt down a employee to see if they could help mind you they still were not open. I actually got off property at 8:50am. This was totally unacceptable and horrible customer service from UHAul.

Angel LI was called to change my drop-off location again. We finally agreed to a location that wasn’t 45 minutes and 20 miles away. I was told the original drop off location to my destination was now not available because they were at their limit for 20’ trucks. It should be u-haul’s responsibility to relocate the truck to another location, not mine. You inconvenience the customer instead of having the drop-off point move the vehicle to where you want it. This is the second time my drop-off location was changed after picking up the truck, as it was with my September 2024 rental.

That's a savings of $300.00 a year.

The Actual Move Out Date: 10/5/2024 and I actually called to Notify U-HAUL of the fact that I was moved out already and my son took the lock when he moved out my stuff as I couldn't get there to get my stuff. I do have a text message from U-Haul received 10/7/24 @ 10:02 am, when I Spoke to Wytincia Worth U-Haul (recorded call) I did notify verbally that I NO Longer Authorized Them To Take MONEY from my Banking Account. That normally came out on the 10th or so of the month. Now, it is in writing. I have not been using the services of U-Haul since on or about 10/5/24 U-Haul was promptly notified of "The Parting Of Ways" the following Monday morning of the move out. Move out 10/5/24 Versus 10/18/24 as stated above in this document, per the employees date of doing their job and filling out the needed paperwork. Looks FRAUDULENT to Me an raises RED FLAGS to me!!! Please BE Honest & UPDATE Appropriately as I also let my bank know that I no longer AUTHORIZED anymore money to be withdrawn from my banking account. Thank you, Melinda

They immediately took away the late fee and just said no problem. We will get it fixed! Then when I left. I just gave them my name and that was that. So easy.

Brian L | Overall ExperienceParking for customers, I was informed the parking that is needed to enter your unit is concidered employee parking, If you ask them to move their truck they throw fit, Aaron was extremely unprofessional. Outside swearing and making comments about us asking him to move his truck, saying we made him move all around the county. We had been there for at least 30 mins waiting for him to move. So we could get the trailer in so we could load it. As he moved his truck he was revving his engine. He then went and help my friends load the trailer we needed. Which our appointment to pick up the trailer was at 10am Saturday August 31st.I have rented a storage at this facility since June 2023. It has been an issue about parking since I started renting here. I was informed by the GM that customer parking was next to the door to get to the inside's units. Countless time I had to park around the corner next to the outside units to have access to my unit. I have complained to multiple people about this situation but nothing has ever been done. The beginning of August when I went in to complain because as ususl a big black truck was taken up 2 of the 3 spaces right next to the building, I was informed that was employee parking. I asked where are paying customer supposed to park when we want to get into our units. I was informed we could come in and ask and they would move. So Saturday I saw that big Black truck was parked in 2 of the 3 spaces as usual and I ask the front desk if they could have the whomever owned the truck could move it. The parking and rudeness has been such an issue we rented a trailer and moved our belongings to a unit in another facility with a different company, where they have parking and the employees don't act childish. Common Courtesy if you're going to take up 2 of The 3 parking spaces, park next to the fence not the building. Customers who pay to store at this Facility should not be Inconvenience because this facility was built in the 1990s and there is no parking for their employees. Customers shouldn't be treated badly for needing to get in their units. There should available parking. Doesn't our monthly storage rent includes this? I also have a storage unit since 2020 at a U-Haul facility in Jacksonville FL. I never had to deal with any of this kind of Unprofessionalism. Kyle and his team are amazing. I wish all businesses were as professional as they are. They make you feel like your business is appreciated.

When I mentioned it to an employee they just said yeah it’s tricky. Sounds like a way for them to get you to purchase their locks if you ask me. But the ultimate reason I’m not storing my stuff at this facility… The online move in process would’ve been great, but Nick (dark long haired outside grunt worker) at the facility threatened to call the cops on me due to his incompetence. I asked for a refund and went elsewhere. Rude people shouldn’t have jobs where they interact with the public. Please train your incompetent staff about U-Haul’s online processing and procedures to prevent this happening to further customers.
Stephanie P | Online Move InUhaul gives you the option to do everything online to get a storage unit…that being said I was very shocked when I arrived, I entered the gated area with the code that was emailed. I had some trouble getting the unit door open. I asked Nick(the grunt worker) for some assistance. He was very rude and abrasive. I showed him all the stuff uhaul had sent me online to move into the unit. He claimed that he had no record of me in his system. He told me that if I didn’t go to the front office and refill out all of the paperwork(essentially paying for the unit again) that the cops would be getting involve. Considering they should’ve had a list of reservations with my name listed since I reserved the unit days in advance and that this employee shouldn’t been more aware of U-Haul’s policy’s to complete the units only. This facility also has no parking for bigger uhaul trucks and is not convenient to access. I would recommend any other place over this facility. I hope Nick receives the extra training and support he needs to have successful customer interactions.

After finding out it was inside I purchased a flat dolly to help move because I was by myself. Then found out the unit had some really nice carts when I got in there. We also didn't have access to the second storage unit online and could not pay it without waiting on the phone for twenty minutes, and they refused to fix that either. They also made us drive thirty minutes to Boise to drop off equipment so they wouldn't have to. There's no good parking, and hard to get into and they put both of our storage units far away from each other. The only thing convenient were the carts. Disregarding the dirt turn around gravel area in the back that got something in my new tire. Not to mention the inside of the facility lights automatically turn off if it doesn't sense anyone for maybe ten minutes, when I was in the back of my storage unit on top of some things and fell because they neglected/failed to tell me that. Overall below average storage facility due to the inconveniences, damage and staff otherwise it's a clean facility. I've even tried calling them or going in to fix some of these things but nothing worked.

The man who initially helped us with our storage rental had no kind tone at all. There was no pleasantness and he was very abrupt, seeming annoyed that we were even there. His communication skills were severely lacking and when I would ask to clarify something, he would snap back at me with a response. For example, my boyfriend and I were standing in front of him and my name is on the rental but my boyfriends card was on the rental. The man, while looking down, abruptly said "I need to see an ID" I asked if he needed mine or my boyfriends. He looke dup, rolled his eyes, signed and said rudely "Well, it's your name on the rental isn't it? Guess that means I need yours, doesn't it?." And then wen back to what he was doing. The attitude continued for the entire rental situation. We decided to cancel our reservation immediately due to the service. I don't want to give money to that kind of service nor do I feel comfortable leaving my belongings in a facility run by someone with that sort of attitude. We made sure to tell others not to go to that facility as well. IN addition, we also returned our 26' uhaul rental from our one way move to this facility and received rude guest service from the older lady who worked at the facility. Her tone was extremely condescending. She got in the truck and said "So you couldn't fill the tank?" I said oh itw as only at half a tank when we picked it up Her reply was very condescending tone "Well, that's not half a tank baby-girl" Um, I am a 46 year old mom and grandmother. I have a college degree and lots of life experience, I do not appreciate being talked down to by her. It was a hair of a mark under the half. We will never use this facility again.

When we arrived in Nampa (30 minutes away and our 3rd attempt), Linda was extremely helpful and got us a large, clean storage unit and was very friendly and accommodating.
