The truck I rented had the check engine light on, but it ran fine. The women that checked me in & out were excellent. I only rented the truck because I needed to return a rental tool to Home Depot that was too heavy for me to lift. I did not check to see if the truck had a ramp that I could use to load the tool. When I got to my house I realized that I had mad a mistake (the truck did not have a ramp). I called the woman who had checked me out and asked for another truck, but she informed me that none were available. She suggeste that I rent a motorcycle trailer that could be pulled with the truck I had. This suggestion worked perfectly!

I came in a very bad way. I had just come out of the hospital, and I was trying to accomplish too many things at the same time. I was having a panic attack at the time, and I don't believe I was doing myself any good, so I talked to the customer service representative. I think your company handles. I believe they need to be better situated on doing things. I was a U-Haul dealer private it’s how you set yourself up so you greet your customers as you were their friend and a person I checked in with was very good. I couldn’t tell you his name, but I was very satisfied The way he handled things.

Easier to rent the tow dolly than I thought it would be. I like this tow dolly especially with the brake controller. It was the easiest towing I ever had to make.

My experience was quick and simple. It was a last minute decision to rent a U-Haul and I got there maybe 5 minutes Before closing . Expecting frustration cause they’ll had a long day. But totally opposite they were welcoming and excited to serve me. That made my experience great! And it was the same with returning it. Well done service. Joy McGregor

A few minutes ago I left the car that I rented from you and picked up my car that was parked at your location, your employees put screws under my wheels. I just stopped because I had punctured wheels. Please check the information. Please look at the surveillance cameras. I got out to see what I could have hit, but there was nothing, and after driving a few miles, I drove off. My rear right tire went flat. The facility was clean and well organized and the gentleman that checked the truck out to me was very good and exceptionally helpfull. The truck itself was clean, but shifted very hard, which wasn't really a problem - just a little uncomfortable. The check in process was very bad. I was told when I checked the truck out that it had a full tank of gas. I drove it 30 miles and before I returned it I had to put 8.5 gallons of gas in it. When was checking it in I told the young lady that was assiting me that there must be something wrong with the gas gage or whomever checked it iin previously had written down the wrong fuel gage reading. She told me that the paperwork was correct and that the truck used 8.5 gallons of gas. I had to get her to use the calculator on her phone to show her that if the truck used 8.5 gal and traveled 30 miles then the truck was getting 3.5 miles per gallon. She finally agreed with me and took me in to see that manager. I had to go through the same exercise with the manager, who finally gave me a $20 Credit. The Manager then told me that the total price for the rental was $170. Again I had to explain to her that I only travled 30 miles. I had to show her that the rental was for $19 for the day and $0.99 per mile plus $16 (i think) for insurance - so the whole rental should be about $66 plus tax and that turned into another mathmatics lesson. The whole thing turned a decent rental into an aggrevating rental.

My only issue beside higher average rent prices is I was lock out several times from my unit from the exterior lock due to a faulty door handle and it was pretty inconvenient but other than that I love this store and have over 10 years experience with It and will alway choose you first if I need something safe and stored.

We picked up a small trailer in WV a day after a snowstorm. After traveling down to our destination in FL, we were charged $15 because the exterior was dirty. Not the interior, the exterior!! Traveling in winter weather was bad enough but to be charged more because of road dirt was ridiculous. Certainly soured our experience and most likely won’t use U-haul again.

We had reserved a truck online that was not there, but the rep accommodated us with a trailer with blankets and stuff since we were transporting a large fish tank which is why we wanted the truck. I recently broke 4 toes and lost the place I was renting, so I needed help moving my belongings to a safe place. I called Uhaul to see if they had a storage unit available, and was happy to know they did. With their help, they suggested I call a moving company to help me, and Jeremy was the person who helped me, thank God ! I am so lucky he sprang into action, because since breaking my toes, I can't put any weight on my foot, and he came to my emotional rescue yesterday. 🙂 I am so grateful he was available and willing to help me too. ❤️ I would like to meet him in person and thank him for doing my job for me.

Overall the person moving me in was very friendly and helpful. There was a little bit of confusion over the the unit type I reserved (outside vs. inside). Also, I pre-paid for a lock and there was no record of it so I had to pull my receipt. Apparently there is a separate system for on-line orders. Why make it difficult for the employee? She was confused, I was confused, the computer system caused confusion. As previously stated, employee was great with a positive attitude. Couldn't ask for a better person to help me at the desk. She did the best she could with what she had. Please improve your computer system.

Everything was great at the New Port Richey facility. The issue I had was picking up the truck at the St Cloud location. The place was closed but it said it was open until 12 pm. The person and the wife were extremely rude, the keys were not ready,. I had to wait 30 minutes or more for them. After he had them ready he placed them in the box and left never hold us it was ready, so we were just standing there alone not knowing where to get the key.

They guys was nice in the front desk but the storage building had a urine smell as soon as you go into the building witch was horrible. Also the light was out for over a month. On my move out date I asked for someone to fix it because I couldn't see while taking my stuff out and the lady told me to that i could crop open the side door because they didn't have anyone to fix it. Witch led me to I used my phone light to move my stuff out because the side door open did nothing for lighting up my unit. Not to mention all the spiders and moths in my unit witch I could of easily got bit by something not being able to see good what I was putting my hands on. So I would never recommend anyone to keep their stuff at this place. Nice staff but not sanitary!

The A/C, was down to much! I had issuance, and never coveted anything! Half the time I would go in! No A/C at all! So 1/4, of my stuff I had to through away! Insurance, never helped! Said it was something, on my end! I paid for a year, with insurance! And got nothing!

The price went up twice within a year and I felt like that was too much too soon. Also, I feel like I should not have to pay extra to access the site after a certain time. If I have a unit there, I should be granted access at any time and not be charged. That's why I left after a year of renting.

There was a leak into my unit destroyed some valuable items of mine in unit 1103. Got an email stating that they/you were raising the rates on the unit because they/you hold high standards and in order to continue those standards they/you had to charge more. If I could go back I wouldn’t think you needed half the charge to upkeep the facility from what I saw and take this as a marketing skeem/scam. Highly disappointed with the facility and would rate this facility average or below.
