Horrible customer service, place is always dirty, plus this white installation from the ceilings COVERS your belongings in a thick blanket. When ask if u could move units I was told “it’s when the train goes by” . Well that’s great and all but I don’t want to pay to have my stuff covered with installation. That’s definitely a huge issue. Plus I told management about the sharp piece of metal on my door when I unlock my lock it would cut me every time. I told them and they did absolutely nothing. Then to top it all off they kept taking money from my account claiming I signed up for “auto pay” I have never signed up for that! I asked 3 times over a year to take that off and I didn’t authorize it. She told me she can’t do that , I have to do it on my end. By the end of the call she had taken it off my account 3X. So she is a liar on top it of. She is the owner. Also likes to walk her dogs INSIDE THE GATE” where I had stepped on dog pop multiple times. The owners are lazy and thief’s

The first issue that I have with this property when their worker parked our truck on their property until that I can get the workers to unload it I was called the next day by the woman in charge who told me I had to move my truck because it was a fire hazard although if it was a fire hazard why did they keep parking trucks there and I have video footage and photos that show that this is what they were doing on a regular basis and it was just insulting to me as a person and then the lady in charge was also rude and nasty to me it made me think she had a problem with my ethnicity. The same day they will send me an email telling me that I was late with my payment they would call me the same day I don't need two notifications if I didn't have the money to pay I don't have the money to pay

It would be great if the conformation TX had the Uhaul logo of in name in the headed. Currently it comes up as a five digit number, looks very similar to many scam text I receive, so I deleted it as fast as it came in. Until the CS person mentioned I had been TXed information, I most likely would have just keeped deleting them. 🤷

The initial reservation was made for a different location, and when we went to pick it up, the places was closed, despite i had stopped a couple weeks earlier to confirm everything and was assured the process would be easy. Suni, I believe at your customer service number was a god send. She was very helpful, patient, kind and knowledgeable. It was dark by the time we got the new unit so alot of the scrapes, dings and dents to the UHaul did not show. We did the best we could with the pics and app. Getting to the app itself is not easy, but once in, it was user friendly. We got the job needed completed and Thank you!

No customer service ,stood there for 30 minutes just waiting for 2 people i know to answer the phone . ( who answers thew phone anymore especially from a number you don't know ??? she didn't care , it was my problem not hers , although i have rented the truck 3 times this week smh. then continues to ask what im driving bc it will be towed if left there , fines if i smoke etc , in between her stopping to talk about another customer with her co worker. Then i get my bill and charged for insurance , after she ask me what insurance provider i have ? and whatever. else she tacked on bc when i make the reservation its not $88.ish , i only moved a mile away but charged for 25 miles. and 17.00 in gas . I cant load ,unload, and drive 25 miles in 2 hours . I came back for the 4th time to rent a truck bc everything was simple and easy until ``someone put her in charge , miserable experience .

I got a storage unit for a free month and cancelled prior to the month end, but I was still charged $199.45 in storage fees. I contacted the office and was told that the fee would be reversed and sent back to me, but I never received it.

I had a horrible experience at this location. First of all there was a police blockade on my way there so I barely made it before closing . Upon arrival I was greeted by the counter representative at the front door by saying “You’re at the wrong location. We don’t have any drop offs tonight” No hello, how may I help you, nothing. When I told her I was trying to check into a storage space she went within earshot of me to complain to someone in the back about how there was only 2 minutes left etc. very unprofessional. Once we finally started after I pleaded that I was only checking in because I had return the truck the following morning at 7am I was told by the GM I’d been given false information from the customer service center. Apparently there are fees associated when checking for a “free” storage. I was told by Willard I wouldn’t have to pay anything upon arrival but Joe the GM said that’s incorrect and they always charge for insurance and a lock. I was actually unprepared to pay for anything which is why I asked Willard before going what I’d be paying out of pocket. When I asked the GM for his first and last name I was given an impolite response that “I’m the general manager, my name is on the front door!” How rude ? I will be going to corporate to report this experience also. It was very unpleasant for a college student just trying to get all moved in before class starts back Monday. So sad to be treated that way.

The facility is very nice. Unfortunately I made payments automatically from my account not knowing that I would be charged the full month for my unit when leaving after paying for the full month on the first of each month. I returned my access on the 4th as we emptied the unit. I was told to contact manager on Monday as they couldn't approve my request then. I contacted the number on my paper and talked to U Haul rep that would contact management with my request and have them call me. I stopped today with no return call and was informed no refund would be given. Management does not approve at that site for any refunds. I paid for an air conditioned unit for over two years and no partial refund for 4 days. Way to go, Thank you.

I appreciate that the entire rental process was online and the speed that I was able to complete the process. When I arrived onsite the service in the store was excellent and I was able to move into the unit quickly with no issues. Before contacting U-Haul, I contacted 5 other storage companies in the area and never received any communication back from them (1 picked up the phone but had no units). Great job! Thank you 👍

We unloaded half a truck before bringing we started to bring items into the storage unit only to discover a Large wet area. Wet: *Two abutting walls (one concrete and one drywall) *Wood running along floor and between the 2 abutting walls were wet. Source of water: The exterior concrete wall is probably where the water was leaking in from the outside. Tag on doorknob said "Customer Ready" but clearly this space was not ready. It was a huge inconvenience to reload the truck, cancel the rental, and find another storage unit on short notice. The offer of first month free storage with truck rental is not helpful if the u-Haul facility only has a wet storage space available. There was nothing-not climate controlled or a larger unit available to rent at this location.

I had my surveyor’s machete in my hand… it has a beautiful leather sheath. Both are made in England. For some crazy reason I set it down in the bay near the door to sweep, not sure why it didn’t get put in the truck right then. Left the door cracked when I left because there was a nice breeze. There was hurricane Ian about a month ago and I believe that water flooded my unit… things were rusty and musty. Well, as soon as I got to my new unit, I realized that my machete was left behind…. So I freaked out and called. The guy who answered said he would check and he was going to make a note in my file. I raced through unloading the truck and hurried back down to the Turnbull Bay Uhaul in record time. Unfortunately they all avoided me when I got back, lotta folks getting propane in prep for this new Hurricane Nicole. They the lady manager who lives there is/has been rude and short with me in all my dealings tells me to go look for it. I get to the unit and the door I left slightly ajar is closed tight… not good. Sure enough the machete that was in my hands a couple hours ago is long gone. I question all three…. Husband/wife manager team, the guy who works there. Nobody knows anything and nobody closed the door initially. The lady finally said she just pushed the door closed on her way walking by. That’s BS… she checked the unit to make sure I swept…. Just like she hurried out to the Uhaul I was returning to make sure it was swept. She also flipped the metal clasp closed on my storage unit I had just cleaned out, she didn’t just push it closed walking by. I’ve had that machete and sheath for awhile… bought it with my own money so I would have a personal tool while I was land surveying. They all denied even taking my call about it. I know in my heart that they found it and stashed it before I got back. Absolute thieves. I’m so glad I switched to All Aboard… they prorated my month there, when Uhaul charged me the whole month even though I stayed 10 days. Check the camera footage from your own store and I guarantee you see a Uhaul employee taking my machete from unit 339 on Tuesday November 8 after I left approximately 9:30am. So check cameras between 930 and noon. Thank you for the opportunity to vent about this serious issue. -Jay Dennis

My storage unit smelled like mildew, the light didn't work inside the unit so it was pitch Black in there, the staff are never in the office and rarely answer the phone after 12:00 p.m., and whether it's Florida state law or not, calling and sending my 78-year-old mother bills for my storage unit is unacceptable. I was told that that was an emergency contact and before I was even late paying last month's rent, my mother was contacted repeatedly causing her deep stress and worry. This month, my mother was sent a bill for my storage unit! As an emergency contact! I wasn't even late with rent! I don't understand the need to harass a 78-year-old woman more than three times in one week over a bill that's not even late. I will never do business with U-Haul in any fashion ever again nor will I ever recommend anyone else do so.

However some of the storage units are old and need interior updating (rolling doors, insulation, moisture migration). Rate competiveness (at times) not up to newer local/area comparable facilities. Cat Mullican was the most helpful person I've ever met. She was wonderful with my U-Haul moving and storage needs, and with the ease of returning the equipment. She is an asset to your comapny. I could never hope for any more pleasant of an experience.

I wish there were 24 hour access to contents. We would arrive late and not be able to pick up our stuff until the next day. Other than that excellent experience.

Well informed and very helpful. I had just gotten out of the hospital and able to store items at facility so a shipper could get them and bring them to Oregon while I flew to my home in Oregon. Awesome couple.

The office staff could maybe benefit from a course/lessons in treating customers a little nicer, professionalism. Moving is a stressful time and the last thing you want is to be treated rudely.
