I did not like using my phone to take pictures of my license and of the trailer. It used my data for what Uhaul is responsible for. It was very awkward in bright sunlight. I will not use my phone next time.

ORA RThe equipment was very clean and easy to use. I had trouble finding the key drop box when I returned the van, so I had to go inside the facility to return the keys. If there is a key drop box, I think making it more visible would be great. Overall, it was a very nice moving experience and the staff were also very nice and helpful.

Moving son's family from Lindsay to Norman the logical drop off site would be the Norman Lindsey street location since it was less than a mile from my son's apartment. But I was not told and was charged $250+ dollars for dropping off in the wrong location. Very unhappy with U-haul, especially when the checkin person told me to just leave the keys and bill would be sent electronically.
GERALD CI want to commend two U-Haul staff members, Carli, and especially Jaden. My family had a move that needed to happen in a very narrow window of time. The original loading/unloading crew we contracted with through UHaul completely ghosted us. At the last minute, Jaden stepped up, canceled the original movers and establish contractual services on our behalf with Austin and his team at Ambitious Movers. Though their schedule was already full, they worked my family’s move in and served us very effectively. Jaden and Austin were professionally efficient, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. Carli, Jayden, Austin, and his team of Melvin, Tristan, and CJ at Ambitious Movers are all top-notch. CLYDE BWhen I first inquired about a rental, I asked which truck was the one for 19.95 a day. A person I was not talking to, off to the side, said, "The sign goes ito effect next week, the price is really $29.95 not $19.95 a day. So I said I would come back nxt week. I rented the truck for what I thought was $19.95. When I returned the vehicle about 8 hours after I picked it up. the charge was $48 dollars. It seems there is a rental fee and then a second rental fee for about the same amount. I also got to pay for mileage which was not explained. And I re-filled the gas used, which is always more because you have no way to make it the same. I would also say that I never was shown a detailed rental charge, as it was all online and I was asked to sign. of course I did. Why worry too much about a $20 charge and some gas. So, without any explanation from the attendant at the desk prior this, my $19.95 a day rental truck was over $48 plus $10.00 in gas. That was not exactly what I planned. As soon as I got home, I realized I left my drink cooler in the truck. My wife went back and inquired about my cooler and the response was, "There is nothing in the lost and found." She asked if she could look in the truck, and they pointed it is out there go look in the window for it." Not exactly great customer service.

DONNA RThe trailer drove fine behind my truck, once I got to Dallas Texas and was bringing my car back on the trailer, it was a scary drive I finally pulled over and found that the trailer had no brake fluid in the master cylinder.anytime I applied the brakes the trailer would make a loud bang and push my truck forward. I explained this to the young lady and she said the trailer didn’t need brake fluid and it was only surge brakes… all the while she was smoking a cigarette. Absolutely un professional!

Both Anthony and Carli are amazing - they are knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and top-notch in every way. I can only imagine how much they have to know/do in these jobs and they are both absolute professionals. I think Uhaul is lucky to have them and I know, for me, they are the reason I continue to use this location.

The only things that would make the Lindsey St store in Norman better is to be able to contact the store directly during their business hours. If I understood correctly that when everyone at that location is busy my call goes over to a U-Haul call center. Instead I would like the option of staying on hold for the Lindsey st store. The other 2 things I would change: a faster computer/software system for all U-Haul locations And last but not least: lower storage unit prices! I believe that when we first leased our storage unit it was $59.95 per month. I know that uhaul has to stay competitive and that operating expenses have continued to increase over the years but it would have been nice to get even a small discount or a rewards program, on our storage unit because we have been long-term customers. Regardless, we have been satisfied with overall customer and selection to products offered that we will continue to use UHall!

Then, the wrong location was added to drop off the truck causing an additional fee when we dropped off the truck to the requested and approved location. This branch is a joke.

Usually the office and access hours were ok, but when we went to move out of the unit on a Sunday, the card wouldn't work and the office was locked so we could not empty it, and our hired helpers were booked so we had to move ourselves. Someone in the office the next day gave us an extra day, but apparently did not report it as we were billed and had problems correcting it. Everything was settled a week later. Overall we would recommend U-Haul.

I received a letter in the mail yesterday, 12/20/21, that was dated 12/2/21 for November’s late fee, and we live in the same town as the unit. The November late fee wasn’t even our fault, it was due to the previous form of payment not being deleted by the store employee. The October late fee was because of my debit card being hacked, us getting a new card, and not realizing the unit was saved to that card. Both fees were removed but it was tedious having to go in each time to deal with them. The gate was never closed so you never needed the swipe card, and the door to the units didn’t lock so you didn’t need your swipe card either for it b

Our month started on the 14th, and we moved out that day, and they would not prorate or refund from Aug 14-Sept 14. This is unfair to customers, I don't care what the contract says, it's a terrible business practice. This survey says move out date was the 16th, it was NOT, it was on the 14th, the day my son moved into his apartment. Someone is playing funny business with the move out date. Other storage companies will prorate and since we have a choice, I will choose differently next time. No need to charge customer (a college student) for 29 days he didn't need. Catherine M | Overall ExperienceThe total experience with the storage situation was an absolute joke, they want me to store a 30k boat between a gutted pickup truck, and a van that I'm pretty sure someone was living in it... with no gate on the entrance, or cameras facing that part of the storage facility.... with the 26ft truck rental I was told I would receive a 10x20 indoor storage area..... surprisingly they only had a 10x10 area... so needless to say, I forked out another 250$ for a storage unit at another place... on a high note, the truck drove great, and the guy behind the counter was awesome... just a bad area and misleading information

We rented a storage space (which has always remained empty) as a place where our daughter who attends OU could use if she needed to leave school quickly due to COVID. Our bills were paid on auto-pay. In late January, we decided she was staying at school and that we could cancel the account. Since our name is on the account, we had to complete a document and send to the manager giving authorization to close the account and cut the lock. We live in Michigan. After that time, we were billed for another monthly fee. We contacted the store and sent a second copy of the cancellation form. I have since sent them to your store manager as a reference point. The charge we received was credited. We have then been charged again, received a lien notice, another charge and a final notice. I have send several emails to Brett the store manager to work this though as well as worked with Lisa from your customer service department. Brett will not return calls nor emails. As of right now, we have lien notice against us (without merit) as well as charges on our American Express card for monthly billing when we clearly returned the unit prior (documented). I am disappointed at this service and the lack of care and concern from your store manager Brett. I have copies of all emails sent to Brett for reference. As of this moment, we still are not clear on next steps. We need some clarity and closure here. At the same time, I would strongly suggest some customer service training for your manager Brett.

I rented a 10' truck on 10/22/2020 'In town price' They lied and said I drove 50 miles when I did not. I went 24 miles. 11 miles there and 11 miles back, plus stopped for gas. 700 E Lindsey to 905 SE 19th st moore, ok. That is 12 miles there and 12 miles back!!!!!! One way trip!!!!! I went from paying $34.00 to $78.00 to $128.00 for 'In Town' services that advertised $19.99. Their response to me was 'Did you take a picture.' Well of course not, because I didnt think i was going to get screwed over plus it isn't my job to make sure someone can read numbers right. They made my account overdraft. So overall $128.00 charged for going 24 miles. Very dishonest and shady people. I work hard for my money and They stole from me and was not truthful about the numbers. I spoke to the manager and they did not help me at all. They said the numbers added up....yeah, lies. I spoke to customer service and they said I can file a complaint but the manager from a local store would contact me...what good would that do? I already spoke to them! I wanted corporates number. I asked the ladies 'Who read the numbers on the truck' and they did not even respond back. They were trying to save their jobs. I will NEVER come here again and I am telling everyone else to go to Public storage. They will get there moneys worth and they seem like very honest people. F U-Haul!!!

The post where we needed to check-in was often blocked by trailers forcing us to leave our trucks or cars and walk over to slide our card through the reader. Not an enormous deal, just an unnecessary pita. 2. The gate whereby the storage section should be secured after hours each night was missing.

Patrick M | First ImpressionsI was told when I reserved the unit over the phone that I would maybe have to walk up a couple of stairs, but nothing major to get to the upper level. When I arrived at my unit, it turned out to be an upper level unit only accessible by a set of rolling stairs, which is not what I was told and did not suit my needs. Thankfully, the staff were very helpful and were able to move me to a ground-floor unit on the same day. In addition, the day that I arrived to move in, all of the key cards were demagnetized, so none could be activated in my name, and I ended up having to leave to go to work without having moved in because I didn’t have keycard access and also did not have time. When I came back the next day, the issue was resolved, for which I was grateful. I also did not feel like I was well-informed about how to swipe into the facility, since it required swiping into two different control panels, which I never would have guessed on my own. The staff member who helped me was very kind though, which was nice. In sum, the move-in process ended up being far more difficult than I thought it would be, but everything worked out well.
