Mark the morning worker was so rude when my wife and I came to get the truck. Not only was he being rude and a smart ass he didn’t go expect the truck nor walk me to show me which one was the truck. I wish I could remember names as these men and women who assisted me in this rental all deserved to be mentioned. EVERYTHING about this location is superior to ANY U-Haul I have utilized in my past 50 years of driving experience. The young lady that manages this facility was mopping out a truck when I arrived to pick up a 4X8 trailer for a 3 day trip to the mountains. She directed me inside to start my rental and the young man that took care of me was exceptional in assiting me in completing the required documents and was always very personable. The young lady that manages this location then assisted me in hooking up the trailer to my truck and was also exceptional in helping with getting everything safely hooked up. Amazing customer service! But wait, there's more! I brought the rental trailer back on a Sunday at 5:15 after this location closed at 5:00! AFTER closing hour a young man and women very politely and professionaly helped me with the return requirements. And it was AFTER hours!!! They could have been headed home to their families but insisted, all with a smile, on getting me taken care of. Professionalism and smiles are my experience at this location. Be prepared to see customer service and care for people if you rent from this location. I'll never rent from another location. Kudos to the manager and her staff. Thank you!!!!!

Nice employees Nowhere in Amarillo could we find a 10' or 15' that was allowed to be taken one way. All we needed was a means to tow our car to Louisiana. Only available truck was a 26' (driven empty) to make the 10 hour tow. Harder on gas and more costly to rent. Also had 2 (seperate) flat tires on the trip. The roadside gentlemen were very nice. Just set us back a few hours.

I received a call on Friday from U-Haul to confirm my rental for Saturday morning. When I arrived, they did not have the 9' van I needed and was told I could not rent a van with a debit card. They did however have a 10' box truck the I was able to rent for the same price. All ended up well, mission accomplished. And all the staff was very nice, and I would recommend this location to friends in the future.

Truck was empty of gas. There is supposed to be a quarter of a tank in the truck when it was picked up. There was not. I left truck with a quarter of a tank in it and have not been paid for the gas. The facility owes me $20.00. Lousy service.

Out of state license this was my only way of getting my things and getting back to Virginia. Attendant was very rude, called my husband a asshole. When I rented the truck is was covered in mud inside. I cleaned it best I could but the Attendant said that we got it that muddy and he was charging us a clean fee. He got right up in my husband's face and called him a dirty asshole for bringing the truck back like that but it was like that from when I picked it up. I also said I didn't need a dolly since I already had one but apparently there was one already in the truck which we didn't use but he said we would be charged for that as well. I've used u-haul for as long as I can remember and have used your company all over this country and I've never had a issue and never been treated this way.

Trailer axel broke half way from Pennsylvania to Arizona and I called U-Haul and they replaced it with another one and paid me $100 for moving my stuff to the new trailer. I will definitely be recommending U-Haul to everyone and will be using them for future moves!

I have not ever had a bad experience with uhall in the past. Now I will be scared to rent anything. First off the company would not provide the vehicle I reserved. Then I got a uhall that did not run good and had Arizona plates. I was in a hurry to move so I accepted it. When I returned the vehicle it was clean but there was an a emtpy ash tray that fell out of a box in the back of the uhall. It was the same color as the floor I in the back so I forgot to pick it up. Now I am being charged over 150 dollars for cleaning fee. The uhall was only driven 12 miles. I hope no one else has to go though this.

so still havent gotten my deposit back which i desperately need for a veh8cle i am buying. the uhaul was cleaned extravagantly even armour all back was swept out so where is my deposit. There were 2 cigarette burns one above the driver seat ane one in the passenger seat which we have time stamped pictures of showing they were there when we picked uhaul up. so i would live to here an explanation as to why you havent refunded my $100 oh and gas was refilled. theres not an explanation so dont even try. Refund my deposit and you get an average at the best for making me have to deal with this bs greedy fucks.

I would have thought this was a brand new store, it sure looked like it was when I walked in, but it's not. I don't know exactly how long it's been there, but the supervisor, Maria told me she has been the boss lady for the past 8 years. When I say I got great customer service, I declare that aspect was just a portion of how impressed I was with my entire experience. We all hate to move. Whether its across town or cross country, it pretty much fills up a whole bucket full of stress, hurdles and aggravation. We involuntarily find out what kind of person we really are. Some of us unexpectedly find out we should have been going to a therapist a long time ago. We also realize how much satisfaction many customer service personnel get out of being jerkface no-sayers, ie; car rental places and a few uhuals in my past, to be quite honest. So it's special when a sales rep recognizes that I'm stressed the f out and can't find where I put my drivers license, no I don't know my zip code and no im not typically this filthy and stinky, yes I got lost, I'm SORRY I'm not an idiot just pls be nice to me. Maria was compassionate, PATIENT with me, and professional, she was talking some great stuff about her employees. Her store was in perfect shape. She has super security system set up all throughout the premises. I appreciate that very much. Ultimately, it's boils down to she's great at what she does and loves what she is doing because she is a great person who cares about others. She is the type of person who can go work anywhere and shine. I hope Uhual recognizes what a gem yall have. Yall better be paying her really well and sending her on vacations. She deserves it. Girl Power!!

When I first stored my belongings here, the facility was nice, clean, and very secure with easy yet guarded access for account holders. However, when I went yesterday to clear out my unit and remove my stuff, things had changed. First, the sliding doors would not open with my access card nor would they open from the inside automatically. I had a truck and movers but could but get my things out because of the non working door. Waited 30 minutes in the office to even tell anyone about the doors, and then 30 more minutes before anyone came to fix it. Once they jimmied the doors open, I was able to start moving out. For the first time in two years, there were baby roaches ALL over the lower level hallways. Though I found none in my stuff at first, the couch that was by the door inside my unit had them under the cushions. I check my stuff every month and for two years, no bugs have been in any of it. I had to throw the couch out because this storage unit allowed an outbreak of roaches to take over it's hallways unchecked. I expect crap like this of cheaper storage facilities, but not when I'm paying nearly $150 a month for this supposedly super nice facility. Disappointing to say the LEAST.

Maria and Sean were great to work with. They made the process of renting a trailer and a storage unit super simple. Sean made sure the trailer and lights were in working order and Maria made sure the storage unit was big enough but not bigger than what we needed. The directions in the facility for the stairs were not posted anywhere. When the person we talked to about our storage area said if we had any questions to call her and then when we tried to call she never answered. It took 45 minutes to find the stairs and our storage unit.

It says climate controlled however when I was moving my things in yesterday it sure seemed very cold not only in the hallway of the facility but in the storage unit itself. It isn't very easy to get to because of all the broken equipment blocking entry ways. Staff is super nice and I appreciate that.

The standard presentation of the brand is outstanding everyone has done their job on the forefront as the face of uhaul at this location and it's a clear reflection of the manager, but I'm disappointed in how my personal situation was handled, although I would love to Give 5 stars I won't because I didn't receive 5 star service my safety and freedom was compromised on top of the huge inconvenience and set back I'm I'm. Still goingnto expirience long after I return this truck because I am nothing but a number and a dollar sign to this company. I do not recommend uhaul not to my friends family and/or word off mouth. I leave this with dignity and respect so I won't air out my experience in detail with thee intention to slander this brand.

I had some bad experience and some good. I didn’t like the fact thar 9 times out of 10 I had to abs that one of the broken down trucks be moved so that I could access my storage and the price is outrageous!! The staff at the uhaul on 6th is absolutely amazing!!! They had to put up with me and I am a handful to say the least. Every time I entered the building I could see the expression of oh my what does she want today, but the tone of their voice and the attitude was completely the opposite. They went above and beyond to satisfy my demands. They all deserve a reward for all I put them through. To the Uhaul Crew on 6th in Amarillo, Thank You All for putting up with me. The girl that checked me in did not know what she was doing. It took over an hour for her to get me my storage unit. she kept pushing me off, to go to where i had to return my uhaul truck in canyon she wanted to cancel my reservation so i could go there. Someone else has to help her so i could get going. A few weeks later i went in to rent a truck so i could move my things and she was there again and stated that they were sold out of trucks meanwhile there was about 5-6 trucks there. I went online to try and see who else had a uhaul available, THE SAME location had multiple trucks available. I felt lied to and went to home depot and rented a truck. I will never deal with this location again. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

The staff members that I saw consistently were very friendly and helpful, although there did seem to be a lot of turnover and new hires being trained often. The price of my storage unit seemed to be increasing incrementally, culminating in a $15 late fee for my unit in the last month (despite my account being set up with auto-pay and never having that problem previously). The unit itself was not entirely secure. There was a 6-8 inch gap between the wall of my unit and the one next to it, such that my neighboring unit’s owner could reach an arm in take my items if I hadn’t accounted for that. Elevator goes down sometimes and delays my ability to access the unit or remove items.
