Good service in a newer facility that is well equipped and staffed
GEORGE FI'm very impressed with the overall service level that was provided. I called customer service and spoke with an english speaking human (rare also) several times and they were all informative and pleasant and helped me every step of the way. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it because dealing with a company that provides excellent service is truly a rare event these days. I will definitely recommend U-Haul to all my friends and colleagues in the future!

FARILES DI decided not to use any insurance, and they charge me for the insurance regardless. On the other hand, the first girl that took care of us was very rude and she was in a rush to leave. In addition the gentleman that was cleaning the trucks and was at the office when I came back was very rude as well telling me Bro and stuff like that. He was upset because originally I made the reservation with Heniz molder cargo van, however, when we saw it when you that what we needed to bring from city furniture wasn’t gonna feed there. So I paid the difference right on the spot with the first girl and then when I came back, he was very rude telling me that I took a truck that he shouldn’t. It was a very bad experience, and I would like to get my insurance money back.
LISANDRO REverything was just as advertised, had U-Box moved from California to Florida, no issues, all good, excellent pickup and delivery service 👍

TIARA QTrailer was dirty. Must have been hauling something like mud or cement. Was not cleaned before we picked it up and got our belongings completely a mess we did not figure in time to clean the trailer so we were unable to do that. Made for a terrible experience cuz now there is hours of cleaning after we use the trailer.
PAUL FThe electric for the trailer was defective. The left brake and turn signals worked on the truck but didn't go through to the electrical connection for the trailer I had a multi meter with me and after testing the trailer, found that there was no electric to that connection on the bumper plug.

ian dThey had to put trailer on with forklift and I told them I can't return it on Sunday cause too heavy to remove. The rep said no problem you can return on Monday no charge. We'll they charged me and called uhaul and they said someone will call me. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK will not rent from uhaul again. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
ARTHUR EI was able to receive my shipment on the date that I requested. U-haul was informative on the process. The U-Haul app needs improvement. It does not provide the information that correlates with what the representative is providing to the customer.
Arianes FI had reserved a truck at another location. When I got there, there was no truck available so they sent me over to this location. Then I had to upsize from a 10 footer to a 15 footer because they didn’t have any 10 footers either. It cost me more in mileage to drive to and from the new U-Haul location then to do the move from one apartment to the other.

David NThe only reason I gave them 1 star is that I can't award negative stars. When dropping off the containers at my previous address, They said they couldn't drop off at the specified time due to their truck breaking down. They promised that they would be there by 10 AM the next morning and I would be their first stop. They didn't show up until 12:30 so my movers were just sitting around. Their excuse; there was a company meeting. I also was NOT their first stop. For the drop off, they said it wouldn't be there at the promised time because they weren't going to be in town on time so I had to change when the movers were coming. I then received an email stating that the containers arrived early. The night prior to the movers getting there, there was a rain storm and the storm sewer was backed up (admittedly not their fault) causing 4 inches of water to rise around the u-boxes in the street (where they instructed me to put them). I called and asked for the containers to be moved, they repeatedly told me that they would only come out to remove all u-boxes and the fact that water was lapping at the floor of the units was not any of their concern. The movers were great, the service from u haul was horrible.
Tina SThe pick-up date was delayed 5 days. The delivery was postponed 3 times at the same day. I was wrongfully charged $64 for cleaning fee without a explanation and for no reason at all. I just found out the extra fee after review my credit card. Never got a receipt or an email. I still waiting for the reimbursement of this fee.
Joao MEverything exceeded my expectations. Customer Service call center and delivery/pick up drivers were all excellent. I really appreciated the on-going phone updates from them all.
Sandra YUpgrade vehicles. Truck I rented was was old and worn. Could also do a bit better job cleaning vehicles. My rental was covered in road grim dirt on the exterior.

VALLERY AUpon returning the vehicle to the designated spot at U-Haul; someone should come outside and acknowledge that they will be with you soon. Because the sign is posted as stay in your rental to be assisted by the employee. I was waiting for a few minutes with no assistance. I finally ask the person who was picking me up from Uhaul to check inside to see what was going on. She was told that the Van read Coconut Creek on it, and i was at the wrong location. This was my pickup and my return location. As a result of this, someone came out and checked in the return.
MAMIE JYour customer service at this location is awful. I rented the truck at 10. i told them I would return in between 2 and 3. A little after 2, my wife received a call from the service center, saying i had stolen the truck and they were calling the police on me. This was quite upsetting. After she spoke with me, she called the center back. They denied that they had said anything of the sort or that they had called her. She hit redial to call them back, so clearly the call came from the center. Then, after we turned in the keys and were halfway home, I received a call asking when I was going to bring the truck back. This gross incompetence makes me not want to use your center again.

MATTHEW JVery poor communication between dispatch and store themselves. I have been a long term customer with Uhaul and was extending my rental through the 1-800 number but they didn’t keep record of anything and thought I was supposed to be returning the van on Aug. 9th when I had it until 23/24. I went into the location on the 23rd and was told by an employee that I can return it the next day. What ends up happening? They mark me down as stealing the van despite paying & showing up the previous day to return it. This has resulted in me not wanting to rent from Uhaul anymore & taking my business to Enterprise (which I’ve already done)
ROMEO NThe site I reserved my trailer, didn’t have any in stock. I was sent to the Pompano Beach location and they saved the day. The trailer was clean and well maintained. The only concern I had was that u-haul sent my 30 miles to Roswelle Ga when there seemed to be multiple u-haul sites in Fitzgerald, GA.
William HI didn’t have furniture pads and never had them. So I better not be charged for them. My ubox was transported to another location WITHOUT my knowledge. I finally came to get my belongings after 5 months and was taken to a brand new facility. The get my belongings was such a hassle as the options for retrieving were so unaccommodating. Then when in the location and asking about drop off options I was told any authorize dealer accept 24/7 drop off even when closed. However that was NOT the case and added stress to my already stressful move. Properly my worst experience in awhile with a company. I put too much to uhaul to have such an experience. $120+ a month for 5 months, then for a uhaul truck and then have to put in more manual labor than wanted for my move due to the lack of options provided. The staff at the location were VERY friendly but it just seems not on the same page with knowledge.
