MARK LUHaul does such a great job in making everything so quick and easy. I have rented moving trucks from you guys often and it is always a smooth experience. The North Versailles location did a great job, everything was ready to go when I got there. Will use these facilities again for sure.

ROBERT MEverything went well and the representative was very courteous. The location was easily accessible, clean and appeared well organized. They were not conveniently located but was the only place that had the type of trailer I required. It was my first time visiting this location but I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a U-Haul solution.
CHRISTOPHER WThe trailer was quite dirty, however the staff gladly swept it out and cleaned it thoroughly. Additionally, there was a bolt missing for the tie down strap, but again fixed quickly making the experience very good.

LAUREESE HA headlight was out and made my drive in the rain near impossible. The other headlight was pointing sideways. Pretty much pitch dark.
max MI had an emergency and needed to rent a truck fast and devote a storage unit. I showed up and the U-Haul employees were excellent. They weee polite, friendly and very helpful. I could tell they weee really busy but never let it bother them and they were all about making sure I was good to go. The manager’s name is Jordan and he was awesome. Good workers are hard to find. If I were the CEO of U-Haul I would want to know about Jordan and how well he does his job. U-Haul is so easy to use but that’s all bc the staff make it so simple to get your truck and go. Then I came back to use the storage facility and it was so safe and clean. Great experience and so thankful to Jordan for making my day easy. Give him a raise he def deserves it. ROBERT WWonderful customer service at the desk and at drop-off. Very, very professional and responsive. Tried getting the truck rental via the online app which was used to reserve it, but it would not allow check-out of equipment - failed/crashed at final steps. Thankfully, most of the data entry in the app (which was cumbersome) transferred into the desk system and the folks there were quick. One big suggestion: please let the customer know real-world fuel economy estimates at check-out. The truck had to be returned with the same amount of gas shown as at check-out, and the gas station was right across the street. We knew we were driving about 50 to 70 miles, and so I asked the clerk what gas mileage the truck got - and was told about 12 mpg. So we purchased about 7.5 gallons, which pushed it well about where we started (1/4 tank) and would easily have been enough fuel even at 10 mpg. We then drove down the interstate, and back, and it was again well below where we started. Had to add another 5 gallons to get it back to starting point (!?!!)- which meant the truck got a bit more than 5 mpg. This is a HUGE difference, almost a third of what we were told. This could have stranded us in the middle of nowhere had we not been careful. The truck had 170k miles on it, so not a surprise that it's way less than what it should be, but it shouldn't be on the customer to check (and account/pay for) the loss in fuel economy to such an extent.
Sean BReceived truck with maintenance code on the display -low tire pressure; truck also smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Asked for another truck was on time crunch with my Sunday move but not so I had to delay my move to wait to have them fill it with air. Can't see why they didn't give me another truck.

edith bTry to not lock customers out of the lobby when it’s about 10 degrees and windy outside as they arrive for their scheduled appointment. The two workers should probably avoid smelling like very recent marijuana usage. Phones weren’t being answered and couldn’t find anyone but the working garage was open with an open door to the lobby, so we were able to at least get into the warmth. On the security cctv footage we saw random people pulling a pickup and black suv into the loading docks and open up their vehicles like they were about to load stuff into their empty trunks. This was basically closing time and I finally waited long enough and someone reappeared. Not sure if I’ll ever rent at this location again. What should have been 5 minutes took about 20, and I had done all my check-in online.
NOAH TOnly having 1/4 tank of gas at pickup is disappointing. My first trip shouldn’t be to the gas station, not knowing how much I am going to use. I only used the vehicle for 5 hours, but got charged for a full day

Ciera MI had an unfortunate job loss after renting a unit and I was extremely behind on payments. Everyone at this uhaul was extremely accommodating and friendly throughout the entire thing. They even allowed me to go ahead and retrieve everything for a lump some of money. I’m very grateful for how the staff here treated me especially as I felt bad about being behind on payments and anticipated the worst from them but they made me feel much better by reassuring me that the effort to make it right was good enough. Thank you to this team I will recommend you guys

DANIEL SThis was my first time being there. Although the initial instructions sounded easy, it proved to be more difficult than I assumed. The first issue was when I arrived to unload my truck, there was no open bays thanks to someone in a small van using a bay intended for the larger trucks. This person should have been instructed to move to the smaller bay. After waiting 15 minutes for a bay to open, I said screw it and just started unloading right there in the lot. Then when we finally found the unit, which proved very difficult for the map was difficult to follow and we got lost walking around, we get to the bay only to find it has peoples belongs still in it. An employee eventually came around and proceeded to get us a different unit. Arriving there I assumed we'd been there maybe 5 minutes, but it took 35 thanks to these issues.

LISA MI reserved the truck 2 days prior, and completed all the necessary online steps, assuming that would allow a quick pickup for the rental. However when I arrived, I had to stand in line and wait since there was only one employee working. I was there 30 minutes when I assumed I would only be there 5. This caused my arrival at the house to be late, thus causing my helpers to just sit there, waiting for me. I wish the process was quicker for those who plan ahead and do things online, rather than those who just show up unannounced. The employee was super nice though, and was doing her best.

Upon talking to the employees, they were not able to fix it and furthermore I discovered that the alarm for the particular unit I was renting was non-operational. It is now been several days and the alarm is still not operating. I feel like this is extremely important and a responsibility that the facility should take very seriously.

Desiree J | Online Move InSince we rented a trailer, for one way transport from PA to MN, we also needed a hitch and wiring harness. This forced us to spend another nearly $50. The man helping us rent ardently assured us that the Uhaul in Minnesota would buy back the hitch and wiring harness, without any hesitation, and that this was common practice. This however was strongly refused in MN, and the shop even checked with a regional manager. This certainly soured our who ordeal, as spending the extra $50 was definitely painful. Aside from this Uhaul also changed the location of our drop off -- before it was close by, but then the new drop off was an hour of driving for us to return the trailer. These two complaints hurt the business transaction. I'm sorry to say, but it seems there could have been a better resolution.

No matter which employee I came in contact with they were very polite and they treat you as a person not just a number or sale to get. The storage areas are well lit, easily accessible, and clean. I had no worries of storing items of value as they offer insurance (for particular situations) and a secured with a security system.

I requested a year ago to get phone calls pulled to resolve prove to them that someone else was responsible for the unit, and they ignored the request and simply continued to harass me for money for someone else's belongings! Horrible place employing horrible people who have no interest in doing their jobs correctly. I will never use U-Haul again.

There are only 2 things that would make the place better. 1) a bright overhead light in each unit (the facility was safe and well lit, but my unit was in a dark spot and I prefer brighter light. 2) 24-hr access. I'm a night owl and I didn't like not being able to get in at night.
